a bracelet in soap

i lost our friendship bracelet. i left it in the shower and i think it all disintegrated. it wasn't even that special. we didn't craft it ourselves, we couldn't crochet, we never touched yarn. it was just one simple black hair tie, store bought, wholesale. it's funny how it reminds me of you two.

the way you walk into the room, say hi out loud. with your chin up and a smile. you looked so cheerful yet it felt fabricated. I'm used to you shouting, complaining about god knows what. you would ask me the answers for number one through twenty, call my name a bunch of times, is this the answer to number twelve? but I'll always laugh, I'll do yours after I'm done with mine.

you'll hold my hand, when you need to. drag me all across the hall filled with people. sometimes i get lost in the crowd, but you wouldn't let me go. there i felt seen, even if i had to walk on the grass with you both on the pavement. it just wasn't built for three.

i wont understand anything you're saying, I'm out of the loop, scrolling through emptiness on my phone while i'm trying to figure out what you were referring to. i'll be far away cheering you on, even if we aren't close at all

still, you'll hold my arms, fidget with my fingers, sometimes for too long. but i'll let you do it even until my fingers bleed. we never talked much, but you'll tell me which senior is dating who even though i'll forget their names again. you're gullible, loud, animated. you take too much space. ask me again how i did my work, i'll let you replicate it, even if in the end i'll do your job for you.

we're like puzzle pieces and you both fit perfectly. im just an extra piece, missing from a different board. also it has been two hours, haven't heard back from you, i'll cancel last minute again

even numbers look better. just them against the odds. you two are great together and I'm glad the odd will leave soon.

i found the bracelet, sitting on the shower drain, just one singular string left, covered in dried soap stains. well now it's unsalvageable -- the bracelet and the friendship itself, but for our last few moments, i'll try to survive, i'm still a person, just ask me how my day has been.

everyday i wonder what it would feel like. to be filled with happiness, to be filled with that comforting feeling, with that love. the type of love that brings in bliss, the type of love that unites our worlds into one.

there are endless opportunities, hundreds and thousands of chances, however is this one truly achievable? to be held in your arms, in a loving feeling, heart to heart

all i wanted was you, your presence, your love, your all. because what else is out there? I can't stop trying, I can't stop hoping, i can't help it.

i know you truly feel the same, so please, give me a chance, give me just one try. You're chasing the wind, with your head above the clouds, searching for the angels in the sky, for the unachievable.

stop struggling for the stars, stop killing for the unobtainable, im here, and I'll always be here, so consider my affection, consider me, my all

went on a walk yesterday

also tried making my own presets on lightroom and i think it turned out great. been loving the dreamy style lately. idk how tumblr works so im still figuring stuff out haha ❤️
