Chris Machete is an accomplished composer, musician, performer and teacher who specializes in Rock/Pop music. Born and raised in Canada, he presently divides his time between composing in his studio and teaching to inspire children to feel music with their emotions. With his release of his solo debut and fans from across the globe, his talents are evident; “Anything that Chris Machete works on is awesome” as quoted by Robin Wilson of the Gin Blossoms. In the mid 90’s, Chris formed rock band Mr. Machete and took the position as a Front Man, Lead Singer and Lead Guitar. Mr. Machete successfully completed 4 full length albums, 3 compilation CD’s, two tours across Canada and shared the stage with SUM41, Protest the Hero, Danko Jones, etc. After Mr. Machete, in early 2000 Chris led metal band Chuck Calibre and released 2 full length albums. Chuck Calibre did extensive large venue touring including the Junofest celebration in Ottawa where Chuck Calibre shared the night with Three Days Grace and Snow Jam in front of over 10, 000 people. In 2005, Chris left touring and Chuck Calibre to concentrate on his solo artist, song writing career and music school. The successful HM Music School has been customized and influenced by Chris’ life experiences. Chris Machete also thrives as a solo artist, composing on all instruments and has produced songs for Ontario Tourism, an online comic called Blue Minion developed by Middle Kingdom Studios and more. Chris is constantly composing and recording in is home studio “Destroyer” with new rock/pop music that reflects his chaotic life, influences and experiences. Currently Chris’ school HM Music is presently sponsoring the ALL ACCESS Music and Speaker Series which sends prominent industry veterans into venues all over North America to educate people on the journeys they have taken to achieve success in their field.
