To anyone with me/cfs out there, do you have a job??? I’ve been trying to look into getting a job, but with everything working against me I don’t know what I can physically do. Maybe there are other people with this illness that has figured something that works for them?

Anyone else with chronic pain ever get really absorbed in a project and dissociate from your body while you're working but then you finish and you come back to your body and you're just like AAAAAAAHHH! WHAT'S WRONG?? oh yeah. The horrors. Never mind

Annual reminder to my fellow disabled and/or chronically ill folks that the new year doesn't mean you have to set arbitrary goals and reinvent yourself just because everybody else does. You will still be disabled next year and no amount of planning and setting goals will change that. You're already lovely as you are. Don't let society suck you into this shit that is just so unrealistic and toxic even for non disabled people. Take care.

Chronic fatigue really feels like having less time in the day than everyone else. Whilst I can do things for half the day and rest the other half, people are out there doing something morning afternoon and night, like this isn’t fairrrr

sometimes I forget standing up isn’t painful and difficult for most people so I’ll be watching something like game changer and see the people standing behind their podiums the whole episode and think ‘wow don’t they need to sit down. how can they still think coherent thoughts’ and then I’m like oh. yeah. I have a disease
