If you're still letting your cat running wild maybe it's time to stop and just be responsible for your "friend" (if you can name by that animal you're putting into danger). Take care of it like you should, not like you're shiting on it.
And dont forget about other animals too - the small ones, your cat will kill, eventually eat if its hungry (and get some parasites, disease, maybe even die if rodents are poisoned). And the bigger ones - such as dogs, foxes or anything else that can hurt them. Plus our dearest - rabies virus.
Oh, well. Almost forgot... Your outdoor cat can eventually end up like this little buddy.
