So this is something that I've put a lot of effort into but the entire point is not to notice it. Its a background object. Something that i put models i want to photo on top of.

The waves lap against the dock, pontoons clattering against each other and the smell of gunpowder drifting out from the bay. This has been a long time coming, my first hand painted mini that i am selling. I actually made the choice to sell this as a statuette, making it too large for most rpg scales as i have felt it would be better suited for the wider audience.

Wqs one of the trickier models to pose as i had made the choice to use a base where the main flat surface is at a steep angle. Ended up cutting the pistol from a failed print to prop the feet up on and give it a semblance of being flat while actually bonding it via miliputty

Bang bang! The echoing clang as what remains of airlock is tugged towards artificial gravity and dlams into the bulkhead.

Clink... Clink.... The gentle contact of foot entering a derelict spaceship.

The bounty hunter has arrived.

A model i had completed quite some time ago but only just got around to photographing (i only just finished the scenery too).

And somehow it was perfect timing with the first news of metroid prime 4 coming out the day I toon the photographs.

First time in months i have a working photo booth setup.

Got a lot of minis that are painted but been awaiting a proper photo.

Not really got a lot to say. This is the Firelord model by bitethebullet painted to look like Ragnaros from world of warcraft

Don't have much in the way of scenery for lava so plane base and background from the game

Got a new tablet for my birthday so decided to try out some software for animating.

This is supposed to be a scene of my Pirate from wow taking a snooze in the rigging

My health has taken a downward turn and been basically stuck in bed for a month with no sign of getting better.

The last time I did work I managed to make my abominations and arthas have snowy bases and I made a start on the thrall.

This is the FOURTH model to @du-hjarta-skulblaka they've broken. it was supposed to be a Bday present back in November!

As we reach the end of the year, I am reflecting on my journey as an artist.

A couple of decades ago I was introduced to painting minis as a way to play wargames. Sadly it was a hobby that was too far for me to do regularly.

A couple of years ago I finally got a load of minis I had kickstarted (the starfinder masterclass miniatures saga of 2018 is still not over) and thus trying to vaguely recall lessons I had once known I got to painting.

A couple of weeks ago I painted my most recent mini, exploring all the lessons I had managed to learn in that time.

It's been a stupid year. But I can see look at what I've done and see the progress
