Just a little announcement.

Activity has been a little slow lately with school starting up, and I've fallen sick twice, so I've been down too. But come the end of this month, I hope that activity will be picking up a little, both for our members, and the mods. There have been multiple reasons why people haven't been on, and being busy is fine, but just let us know, okay?

An activity check will be run at the end of the month/beginning of October, so look out for that. Hopefully the rest of the staff should be back by then also, having settled into school and such.

If you're having any problems, or need some time away and want to let us know, then just send us a message. I check the main as much as I can, but that's only every few days, since I've been ill. Keep in mind too, that I may not be able to answer everything we're sent at once, and not everything will be posted openly on the dash, if you send a question when not on anonymous. I may need to speak to other staff first to answer something, whenever I get a chance to talk to them.

Just thought I would give you guys a little update. Hope everything is going well for everyone!

Will you have a Kara Zor-El (Supergirl)?

Most likely, yes. At the moment, the other mods have been busy with either school, life, or lack of internet -- so we'll be discussing some other things when they get back. In the mean time, I'm going to try and write as many bios as I can. So if you have an FC in mind for Kara, unless you'd just rather her Smallville one, that'd be helpful!

Alright, I understand. What with School starting up again and all. But! I do have some other ideas now if Jason were not to die (which does make a lot more sense) if you'd be up for me blabbering on about it. I'm just really into the character and always jump at the chance to fit and play character histories into other universes so this is pretty darn exciting to me. Sorry if I'm a pain.

Alright, so if we stick to the comic-canon which, I think, makes Jason six years Dick's younger. That would make Jason currently 19? Okay! Well, we could stick to Jason being killed around 13/14 than having Talia or Ra's bring him back to life (or just not dying at all) and study with the LoS (or the All Caste) for some weird reason before taking on the Red Hood persona for... some... weird... reason... throwing ideas out there... (also I'm anon now. Ahah.. ha.)

19 sounds about right, yeah. I'm not sure about the dying thing, though. I'm not sure what exactly we're going to do with that, because as of yet, the staff all haven't really discussed what exactly we're doing with Jason just yet. But thank you for all these suggestions, they may end up helping us make up our minds c:

All the staff have been quite busy lately, so it may be a little while until we all get a chance to talk together about this, but I'm pretty sure we're going to start work on getting the bios for the rest of the Batfamily up as soon as we can. So if you're interested, keep an eye out!

Bartholomew "Barry" Allen | Thirty-six | Scott Speedman | The Flash | Open | Forensic Scientist

Born and raised in Central City in Missouri, Barry Allen had a normal childhood growing up. He was part of a loving family, and had always been interested in science from a young age. After studying forensics in college, Barry became a forensic scientist. Everything was good, and he had a great life with his fiancee, Iris West, but one night as he prepared to leave work and head off home, a lightning bolt shattered a case full of chemicals, causing them to spill all over Barry. It comes as a surprising result, that he eventually learns that the incident has had rather strange consequences. Barry finds that he can run extremely fast and has the quick reflexes to match. Instead of freaking out about his new-found powers like some other people might, Barry seemed to take it in stride, and stayed optimistic.

He ends up working with Ira West (Iris' adoptive father), and Ira designs and makes a suit that Barry could wear that streamlined, and wouldn't be damaged by the speed he would be running at. He also made the ring that could store the suit whilst Barry was in his civilian clothing; the ring can eject the compressed clothing whenever Barry needs it, and suck it back in with the aid of a special gas which shrinks the suit. Of course, with the suit and the powers, there was only one step left to take, which was probably the most daunting step of all -- for good reason. Central City wasn't overrun with crime, unlike places like Gotham, but it did receive it's fair share, especially with the arrival of supervillains.

Over the next couple of years, Barry has kept Central City safe, and he and Iris also finally got married. Unknown to Barry, he actually talked in his sleep and Iris had already learned of the fact that he was The Flash and kept his secret, even before Barry himself had decided to come clean and be honest with her about his "second life". Eventually, he also gained a sidekick in the form of Iris' nephew, Wally West, who had fallen victim to a similar incident that Barry had, in order to gain his powers. Taking the boy under his wing, he had taught him all that he had learned so far about his powers, in order to help Wally learn to control his own.

With the news of what happened to Gotham lately, Barry became slightly concerned, especially since Wally was close by, attending Xavier's school at the time. Some case studies showed up that interested Barry, and his help was sought out with them because of his relatively well-known reputation in his field. With the chance to go to Gotham occasionally, Barry accepted the job. On the side, as well as being The Flash, Barry also helps out occasionally at Xavier's School For Gifted Youngsters. He isn't there a lot, but quite a few of the students have taken a liking to him and his happy-go-lucky attitude. Very friendly, Barry is rarely ever seen without a smile on his face. He's quick to befriend and trust other people, but he has a reputation for being very slow and deliberate with his work, as well as more often than not being late.

Hello. I was curious if you had any plans for Jason Todd? I've seen some of your other answers involving the character but none seemed to be conclusive (or I didn't look hard enough). I was thinking of introducing him as his teenage-self, before taking on the Robin persona (or as the current Robin) as it would make fitting him in easier than trying to squish his death in.

We don't have any solid plans for Jason Todd, no. But we have ideas for Tim, and he's currently placed at the age of 16, so Jason would need to be older. Therefore making it less likely for him to take on the role of "Robin".

Since this roleplay is Nolanverse, there probably isn't going to be an actual Robin, since technically speaking, John Blake, who we have placed as Nightwing, was Nolan's take on Robin. Another character taking the name, when it's actually John's real name, wouldn't make much sense in this world.

If you have any other ideas at all, however, for Jason, we'd be happy to hear them!

Cayce here! Just letting you guys know that I'll be gone for possibly a couple of days starting tomorrow, so I won't be online at all. No internet where I'm going.

I'll be trying to write any replies I owe while I'm away (hooray for pen and paper!), but I thought I should let you guys know that I'm not going to be here. However, there are still three other staff members, so this isn't necessarily needed xD

An inquiring mind would like to know what version of Emma Frost you'd like to see in your game. I'm very interested!

Sorry, but I'm not too sure what you mean. If you meant would she be good or bad-- it's entirely up to you. Personally, I never understood what they did with her character in First Class, but if you'd like to come off anon, we can discuss her characterization for this roleplay if you wish.

Well unfortunately, we've already assigned Cavill for Clark Kent for reasons and currently Jamie Chung is being used for Psylocke, but that could change, it just depends on interest for the character.

I'd like to request Dr. Linda Friitawa and suggest Evanna Lynch as a FC, since Linda is albino (I couldn't find any actual albino actresses/musicians that would fit).

Ooh, I was thinking of adding Linda! However, that FC is a little young for the role, in my honest opinion-- especially considering she's a doctor. But we'll definitely think of something.
