These days I have been working on a picture book that reflects on the question Who are you? The drawings revisit the canyons behind my childhood home. It has been deeply satisfying immersing myself in that innocent world of childhood and seems to heal the anxiety of my doom scrolling. What are you creating these days?

Visual development for film is the part of production where we get to explore all the different possibilities before animating and oftentimes even before finalizing the script. These are a few samples from projects past that I had a blast working on. If you’re interested in hearing more about vis dev, I’ll be at Lightbox Expo (@lightboxexpo) in Pasadena on the 14th and 15th. As many of you know I’d been designing wallpaper for my living room for a ridiculous amount of time. I kept designing the pattern repeat larger and larger until , well, it turned into a mural 😂🤷‍♀️. Loved getting into the paints again (so did Stanley 😬😬)
