Many people know that I am not an artist. Nevertheless, I started working on a small art project on the theme of ancient Greece, or rather its mythology. I present to your attention Hades and Persephone. The first picture is the largest - two worlds, two paths of two gods married to each other. Persephone is the goddess of spring, actually the queen of the kingdom of the dead. Hades is the god of wealth and the permanent ruler of the underworld of Greece. One of the few gods who didn't cheat on each other, if not the only ones.

As for Persephone, I painted it a long time ago. I tried to make her color more natural. With smooth transitions from just a nude skin tone to pink. She added moles because she thought it would betray her charm. Aida painted it today and tried to make it painfully pale, as it does not stay in the sun for a long time. Where does he get his vitamin D and tan from? That's right, there's nowhere. She added precious stones to the painting just as a symbol of the fact that Hades was the god not only of the afterlife, but also of the riches that the earth provided (namely precious and rare stones and metals). The field above is dotted with flowers, and I tried to refer to another myth. Towards the myth of narcissists and their origin. But it didn't work out very well. Most likely, I will complement it, and plus there will be two more paintings in this collection based on the gods themselves.

The red color of Hades' eyes, by the way, is a reference to grenades.

By the way, I wanted to make a reference to one of his sacred animals and make sheep horns for Hades. But it didn't work out, so I made him a cape out of clay.

Baby Brats (of the Batch)

The duo of all time. Omega isn't as much of a brat in comparison to Crosshair (trust, nobody is), but she is not immune to baby batch syndrome, and when the two of them are together, you best believe they're going to be up for something. Also Cross with a tongue piercing because why not?

Black Women Babes

Saw this dress and this dress and knew that they were perfect for Viram and Phee, so I had to draw them in them. Idk something about Phee in a yellow dress just makes sense. Best believe Echo and Tech are hyping their wives up 😌

Goggles + Bandanna

Same with Viram and Phee, I saw this outfit and this outfit, and for some reason thought Tech and Hunter would look great in them. I think it's definitely fitting for what kind of style Hunter would go for, but they honestly give "Crosshair picked out their outfits" vibes too. Or maybe they took Crosshair's clothes without asking. Either or.

He did it because: he wants to see Omega's happy expression; he didn't have time to do the same with Tech (they dreamed of doing it in their cadet years, but they didn't have time), and now he's doing it with his sister.

Omega, it seems to me, generally followed his path. She pilots the ship in the third season several times at the beginning, twitches her leg, in the finale she becomes a resistance pilot. She is similar to Tech, not so much in appearance, but in terms of habits and some small movements. She even rubbed her hands like he did when talking to Hunter.

New theory: Omega fractured her right femur in 2x16 "Plan 99" when the railcar crashed.

Notice how bad her limp is, she's holding her thigh almost like she's trying to hold up her whole leg from that point, and when she really puts weight on it she collapses.

Her wounds were treated like they were fatal, and fractured femurs can be fatal due to the location of the femoral artery.

This mirrors Tech breaking his left femur in 2x02 "Ruins of War." I'm trying to think of how to put words to the symbolism here. I think it's a physical representation of the wound Omega is dealt by losing Tech and how badly it hurts her, and it really speaks of his absence.

Damn, I was so used to drawing a Cross in the framework of the Harry Potter au without a tattoo that I completely forgot about it in principle. At least it looks more canonical now.
