“Monsters often get the latest body modifications based on current trends and technology. For example, I have clockwork parts but young Monster Kid has hydraulic limbs installed.”

What made you want to build the portal? Is something wrong with your original timeline?

“As for the second part of your ask, I suppose the talk about other universes made me excited to see one for myself. I did not take into consideration what I might find on other end of my portal.”

Unfortunately, I have been inactive on the Clockwork blog for so long. I had a lot of lore planned for this universe but I had lost the motivation to draw out the answers to to questions. As such, I will be responding to old questions in text only. Hopefully, my responses will explain some of the lore to anybody visiting the blog.

I'm new here, what's the plot of Clockworktale?

Oh hello! Well, the plot of Clockworktale is still a wip, but I can tell you what the main function of it. Clockworktale is an AU that controls time in other timelines and repairs the broken ones. The monsters and humans that are in this AU observe other timelines to keep the time in their worlds in check.~Mod Mew

Just when things seemed bad enough, you get kidnapped by Stitches.

Long overdue 

Basically Clocky gets attacked by Stitches’s alter ego 4401 and tries to escape. First by cutting off one of the tentacles with a cog so that Stitches drops him, and then by trying to make a portal to get out. Doesn’t work so well for poor Clocky.
