Josh Washington angst! headcanons

(see guys I told you I was clocking in❤️)

-Shuts down frequently, but still rarely.

Sometimes it’s for no reason (he just think the people around him are complete jerks for every thing that happened to his sister, like how he targeted Chris even though he had no doing in the prank yk??) words and actions can come off very passive aggressive or mean. Although, he doesn’t mean it and at the day he apologizes for his behavior to you.

-Sometimes gets drunk in his room by himself 💔💔

Honestly not much extra information I can give on this except nights you find him like this,

you lock up the alcohol cabinet, but he always find away around it, which you end up having to hide the bottles

(If Josh got the ect/shock therapy)

-Absolutely out of his mind for a while.

OBVIOUSLY because the actual electricity that was shock through his head hello?? But also because he can’t believe he has driven himself so low that his life has resulted to this. Clings to you alot after this, especially when you go to sleep, he’ll lay his head on your back just to hear your heartbeat for grounding or hold your hand with his thumb on your wrist to feel your pulse through there.

-He’s always slightly nervous and stressed out so his circulation is terrible🥀

You notice when you guys are laying together and his FREEZING feet brush against you, aswell if he presses his face in the crook of your neck, his nose will always be super cold.

-Adding to his malnutrition, I would definitely say before the incident he was a bit of a chunky monkey (like he’s fit just like not super fit ykk??).

However he’s lost that weight and his muscle (you noticed when you guys hug or go to sleep).

-He can grow a bit narcissistic sometimes ( it’s not really him his emotions can be hard to regulate sometimes)

best thing to do is leave him be but if he’s like in the kitchen just act like everythings fine and do what you normally do. (The normalcy is grounding to him)

I just realized Josh’s traps for his friends are supposed to be like saw traps. Like the voice changer is almost exactly like the one in the saw movies and it makes sense because his dad is a movie director so he gotta have seen them movies.

(Guys maybe I’m slow but this was definitely what he was going for.💔)

Also because in saw, the people are purposely put in those traps because they were like ungrateful bad people or som like that LIKE how his friends were being careless with his sisters.

Word count: uh 100 something I think🤤

It hasn’t been long at the Washington’s lodge and Chris and Ashley seem to already upset Josh after they played with the spirit board.

You, who just got back from going on a little walk, enjoying the view outside, just got told by Ashley that Josh was a little upset right now, and that he just needs time, but hey not at you! you get to avoid his space sometimes.

You sprinted down the stairs and tried the door at the bottom of them but to a surprise, it was locked.

Hm..Josh don’t lock doors, I mean sometimes, but to his room, not to an entire area.

You have a spare master key though, he gave it to you the year before when he thought you were going to come to the lodge. However, you got caught up with something, but you kept the key, it now swings with your other keys. You liked the thought that he trusted you with something like that.

You pulled that key out and unlocked the door, nothing much, it just looked like upstairs, dark and dusty with furniture scattered, but that was exactly it; it was nothing..where was Josh?

You knew something was off about him when you came to the lodge tonight, you just thought that being back here brought back bad memories, and that’s why you didn’t want to mention it immediately. But this was weird.. he was being passive aggressive to everyone already, even you..

“Josh?”

No answer. Where was he? gosh you were getting the creeps already.

After a while something just didn’t feel right, things were off and you felt like your mind was getting hazy. Did you close that door? You don’t remember doing so, maybe I did..

You were panicked..that was it, and when you were like that you zoned out. All you managed to do on your own was call Josh’s name, he may be crazy, but he was your lifeline to sometimes.

But not fully, you were independent as well. So when you heard something move behind you, you turned around immediately and stepped back. Didn’t help that it was almost pitched dark now that the door from the stairs was closed and the upstairs light didn’t seep in anymore.

“Haha, very funny, Josh c’mon..”

Nothing again. Nothings right..

The coldness on your back slowly faded away, but there was no reason for it to go..

someone is behind you.

Shoulders drop as breath quickens. Slow enough, that maybe whoever this psycho was didn’t see, you turn your head to the side and try to get a glimpse on who it was. That wasn’t Josh, you don’t know who that was..

One last time you call his name.

But that was quickly smothered out.

Whoever was behind you now had a tight grip around you. You tried to shake your way out but your arms were trapped by your sides, and you were helpless.

You mutter small repeated no’s as you looked over to the side of your arm and as thought, the person was removing a syringe from your arm.

Maybe that haze you were feeling before was something telling you to get out of there, and now we’re laying on the floor, eyes growing heavy and your breathing growing deep, what was in that shot?

You watched the persons boots stand infront of you for a second before walking off.

Now even your thoughts were slurred, you didn’t know what to think.

There was someone in the house and they could be going after everyone else,and who knew what that psycho had for them. I mean...look at you, drugged with force and now you’re numbed to the brain.

Thinking about it, atleast when he threw you to the floor you didn’t have to feel it because your numbed up, except..he didn’t throw you to the floor…

Whoever it was actually placed you down quite gently. With the strength you had left, memories from not even 5 minutes ago flooded in. Everything about that person’s demeanor didn’t seem completely malice…

You swore you even heard them whisper a, “Im so sorry.”

Josh Washington bf! Headcanons!!

(Kinda included this in my last headcanons but idc!!)

You guys are always getting on each others nerves.

Chewing too loud in the other ones ear,

Yelling for no reason to scare the other,

Purposely moving each other’s stuff around that you know they have been looking for.

Sometimes (honestly probably all the time) when you know he’s playing around you start hitting him jokingly, mostly pushing him or hitting his back BUT when he knows your playing with him, he obviously won’t hit you ,not even jokingly, he mostly just grabs and hugs you dragging you around playfully.

You guys sit in silence a lot.

I can imagine that you guys are sitting in his room, he’s sitting on the edge of the bed playing some video game while you are closer to the headboard reading a book or on your phone, but you do continuously poke his back or head with your foot just to joke and show affection.

You guys talk MAADD trash all the time when you get away from the group.

Mostly about Emily, Jess, and Mike. Sometimes when you or Josh get done talking to one of them, you turn to him or he turns to you and immediately eye-roll. You can’t compress your laughs anymore.

When you guys are about to go to bed, he always has to get you and him a cold glass of water, just incase you guys wake up in the middle of the night and get thirsty. He also has to make sure every light is off in the house and phones are charged for when you get up in the morning. You obviously call him a freak for this because he WILL do this every night, no exceptions.

You guys go to a lot of escape rooms. (Mostly his idea)

He is mostly the risk taker, whether it’s putting something in its place or having to lay in a coffin to finish the puzzle, you mostly just figure out what to do and he will do it. Obviously when you guys unsuspectingly get separated, you both are screaming eachother names, looking for each other frantically, and laughing, your laugh is more nervous tbh..💔💔

Lots of inside jokes with just each other.(sometimes there a little gossipy jokes but mostly theyre so brainrotted)

ALWAYS getting some sort of snack when you guys are driving or honestly just at home.

“I’m kinda craving ice cream.”

“Well then let’s go get someeee!”

You guys have matching bracelets.

Probably like those Clare’s friendship bracelets with a burger and fries charms on it that have tiny googly eyes.
