Soap can’t drive a manual transmission, and ghost has to teach him. Surprisingly, ghost is the most patient and levelheaded teacher. It only took one lesson for soap to figure it all out, and now he can drive anything, no problem

Soap was embarrassed to admit he didn’t know how to drive stick. He was such an excellent driver so saying that felt wrong. But Ghost didn’t give him any shit. Instead he asked him if he would like to learn.

“I would…”

“Then I’ll teach you.”

“… you? Simon ‘Ican’t drive’ Riley?”

“I can fucking drive! And I can show you have to drive an manual.”

Soap eyes Ghost suspiciously. After not being able to find any evidence that Ghost was playing him he sighed.

“Okay…”

So they went and found a old ass truck on base to practice in. Soap was nervous as he got in the driver’s seat, Ghost getting in the passenger. Soap was definitely expecting Ghost to lose his patience after the first ten minutes. But he didn’t. Instead he gently directed him, showing him how to shift gears.

The patience and gentleness in Ghost’s voice was addictive.

Not even a week later Soap was racing the old truck around the base, laughing as Ghost held on for dear life. Now Price is debating on what to do to keep Soap from stealing the old manual cars on base to race.

School CoD AU thing idk. .......... Valeria

so Valeria in the school au thingy. idfk. shes that bitch who is always skipping and is in the library. she and ghost are similar only difference is she skips bc she hates school. he skips bc hes bored. she forces others to do her homework via blackmail or beating them up. he just dose it whenever he feels like it.

she's also the bitch you go to because she has ALL the gossip in school. Konig figures things out by listening but so dose she. but she doesn't listen and wait until she has the truth. she will hear a lie and spread it like wild fire. when she learned konig knows more then her and he knows the truth about a lot of things she's still guessing about she tries to get it out of him. that's the first time people at school saw him throw a punch. it didn't just happen though. she bugged him for weeks. tormenting him. knocking his lunch tray out of his hands. pushing and tripping him. trying to threaten to spread rumors. the group tried to get her to back down but no one dared hit her because 1, woman. 2, her mom and or dad has a lot of power in the school and that'd be bad. one day when ghost saw for the first time, he had heard about the bullying but hadn't seen it, they were all at lunch and he went "bloody hell you're far too cocky" and went to hit her but konig put is hand up, stopping ghost, and decked her.

he walked away basically steaming with rage which is uncommon for him seeing as he's non confrontational and has anxiety out the ass.

she and Alejandro dated for a bit at the start of the first year but that didn't last long.

The whole Roomba thing has convinced me that Ghost has an entire flat of really outdated appliances that honestly need to be replaced, but he just refuses. It's not even because he's barely there, so what's the point in spending a lot of money on replacing all of them.

No, it's because he's emotionally attached to all of them. His horribly loud and very poorly functioning microwave? That's Suzie. The toaster? Bart. The oven that has one stove eye that doesn't work anymore no matter what you do to try and fix it? That's Mason. The dryer that sounds like it's going to explode every time he runs it? Oh, that's just Sam.

To make it sad, he's attached because all of these appliances where fully functioning and relatively new during some of the worst parts of his adult life. They were there for him when he lost everything. They were the only reliable people things in his life after everything that happened with Roba. He doesn't want to replace them because he's afraid that he won't have that stability in his life anymore. He's afraid of losing what little he had saved of himself. He knows he has the 141, but those are actual people. He's gone through so much betrayal and been exposed to so many manipulative people in his life that he's afraid the same thing is gonna happen with them. Which is why he's attached to his appliances. Hey, they still work and they can't manipulate and abuse him! Sure, they can be touchy about how they work, but at least they're trying their best for him.

Basically, Simon is afraid to move on because he's afraid of what that means for him. (totally not self-projecting with that part, but okay)

But his attachment doesn’t stop at his flat, there’s this ancient Austin Champ that they drove around base that was given the nickname “Ol’ Tin”. That thing has been there for years and it has never faltered since he’s been there. But then one day Ol’ Tin was gone and when Price said it had officially been retired Ghost almost lost it. He immediately asked if there was anyway he could buy it but Price just told him he didn’t know where it was.

Price noticed how much this was bothering Ghost and called around until he located Ol’ Tin. Ghost actually cried when he saw the old truck back in the garage. Price decided to have a talk with Ghost about it because why was he crying over a old truck?

They unpacked a lot during those two hours.
