Some divinity in their soul, planted there at the moment of their birth, will reveal itself with a halo of light and an ocean of responsibility. They will tear apart the Empire of Malta’s armies, rid Medina of its artifice and infrastructure, tear the awful humming airship from the horizon. They will be Medina’s hero, her Nevi, known and beloved by the nation.

And then, fifteen years from today, they will die.

big weekend btw!!! i got to go up to the school i'll be starting at in the fall for a conference, and it was fascinating

i met some really lovely and intelligent people and i am so so stoked to be starting on this next chapter
