NaNo 2019 - Day 3
Just reached five thousand words for today’s goal, which I’ve very pleased that I could since I also just realized that I left my outline at work yesterday. Because of course I did. And since I work out of town I’ll be waiting until tomorrow to go pick it up. I’m rather annoyed with myself, but oh well. At least I still reached today’s goal, which included catching up after falling short a few hundred words yesterday. And my two main characters will be meeting soon, which I’m quite excited to write.
Simple to say that it’s not going to be the happiest of meetings. Can’t wait.

NaNo 2019 - Day 1 Report
Well, once again I’ve proven that I can defeat lack of sleep and power through multiple tasks at once. I worked super early this morning, so I actually got ‘up’ before midnight last night in order to start things off at the stroke of, as per tradition. A few hundred words, a quick nap, and a cup of coffee later, it was time to leave for work. Blasting “Wicked” helped me stay alert for my hour commute. At work itself, I was able to scratch out a page and a half, which got typed up during our in-person kick-off party for my region. (And yes, I caught a nap in my car before driving home.) Pounded out the rest of my count with the help of 4thewords and settled in with a nice 1801 words for day one.
All in all, while I would have loved to not have been so utterly loopy, I’m pleased with how things turned out. I met my quota, and I’m almost to my big inciting incident that’s going to throw Emrys out of his universe and into the next one over. Poor guy.

Counting Down
As of this post in my time zone, there are ten hours, twenty-seven minutes until NaNo begins and I am so not ready.
I’m on page four of my outline, haven’t gotten to the first note in my rough sketch outline, but am rocking this witch hat so I WILL have enough to start with!

I’m back?
Hello! It’s been a long time, but with NaNo coming around in a few days I’m looking to try and revive this blog. Hopefully, I’ll do a better job at it this time.
A lot has happened this year since I last posted. I finally got the job with the state working at the ferry terminals, which takes a lot of time but also pays really well. Which has been doing wonders for my stress levels. I’m still living with the parents, but taking big chunks out of my debts with every paycheck.
Unfortunately, I haven’t been writing nearly as much as I wanted to. Another thing I want to change, and WILL be changing. Through sheer force of stubborn will. Starting, of course, with NaNo.
Speaking of NaNo, I’ve set myself up with a multi-year project tracker for the event, starting with some general things l like plot structures, interesting name lists, world-building questions, etc. Following that, I’ve been working on brainstorming and outlining this year’s project, an urban fantasy I’ve at least temporarily titled “Dollhouse Fallen.”
Being a fairy's apprentice is never dull. From shrinking to stay with them to occasionally setting off chain reaction explosions when you add the wrong variety of Venus flytrap to a potion, there are challenges around every corner. Emrys just didn't expect for his impromptu extra credit project to send him, along with the house, to an alternate dimension where magic never burst out into the open. Or to depend on a supernatural enthusiast that's been hoping for something like this to happen since childhood. And Peter never expected the beaten up dollhouse he found in the park to actually have someone living in it.
(Btw, if you’re interested in friending me on NaNo, my profile’s here!)

I've been suffering from the hagfish this week, as I'm sure many others have as it circles around like a slime-bringing shark. It's put me off working out but hasn't managed to keep me completely unproductive, even if I didn't finish the short story I'd planned to put up on Amazon today. Meh. Instead, I finished writing "Meeting Maxwell," a side mini-story to my Gundam Wing "Emergence" fic, taking place during Duo's L2 days. I have a friend looking it over right now and will get it up for public reading after the next regular chapter.

Happy New Year 2019
Another year has come and gone, and we’re still here. Gold stars for everyone here! (Yes, you can take two if you want to.) With the world pretty hell-bent on offing off, just getting here means you’re all pretty badass. Sure, we might not have managed everything on our goal lists, but what we managed? Is something to be proud of.
As for me, I had a couple of big wins. Financially, I took a big chuck out of the hefty sum of debt I have, which has lifted a dozen or so weights from my shoulders. Socially, I reconnected with a great friend that I’d sort of lost contact with for too long when life just got crazy for the both of us. And with the power of the internet, we’re able to talk on a nearly daily basis. Including today, while I was writing this. I’ve also been sending out feelers to see who remembers me from before my social radio silence. Who knew a digital hug from an old friend could feel so good.
Artistically, I took an art class and loved it and loved the work I produced during it. I’ll be taking another starting Monday, this one focused on figure drawing, so look out for more artwork to be posted in the coming months. I also managed to actually complete a full fanfiction, which I haven’t done in ages. Not only was that an accomplishment on its own, but it was also the long-overdue prize for a drawing on another of my blogs. The winner of which, by the way, was so wonderfully patient with me. Wonderful person. I’ve also produced a few chapters of other projects, started new fics, and planned others. So I already have lots to work on in the coming year.
Which brings me to my plans for 2019! Once again, I plan to strive to write every single day of the year, whether it’s a chapter, a page, or a paragraph. Fanfiction, original, even blog posts like this one. I made up my pretty calendar chart in my Notebook of Everything to color in the days and keep track of my progress. The other part of that goal is to produce fifty-two short stories/chapters, for an average of one a week. Some will be posted on my websites for free reading, while others will be put directly to Amazon to further my goals of being able to support myself on my writing eventually. Gotta build that back catalog.
Finally, and on a similar note, I’ve been studying up on the possibility of opening myself to paid commissions. Decisions and details on that will be posted later. In the meantime, I have an account at Ko-Fi.com! If you feel like dropping me a tip to help me out, I’d be ever so thankful for it.
So, in closing, I hope you have a fiercely excellent 2019 and that you accomplish all the good things you set out for yourself!

A Productive Wednesday?!
https://coffeeatthekeyboard.wordpress.com/2018/12/06/a-productive-wednesday/
Wednesdays are currently one of my days off, completely free of responsibility and appointments. As such, they're normally days that I get absolutely nothing done. Because really, what is the least conducive thing to productivity than free time? Panic and scramble are much better motivates in my experience. This Wednesday, however, actually managed to be productively artistic, and for that I am quite pleased. It started with the casual idea of working on my website (link here if you aren't reading this there), putting up some of my original work, updating "Emergence" with its newest chapter, and setting up a few categories to sort blog posts into for easy reference later on. I've come to hate Wordpress' new text editor, but will manage to carry on and survive. Anyone can tell you that I'm far too stubborn for anything else. Following that, I pulled out the fountain pen set that my good friend Tak sent me for my birthday back in October. I'd opened it before, I promise, but kept waiting for the 'right' time to actually load it up with ink and give it a whirl. Apparently, that right time was an uncluttered Wednesday. Who knew. I pulled it apart to put in an ink cartridge, immediately confusing myself of course, and promptly did as any sensible millennial does when faced with a puzzle. I asked Youtube for help and found myself a beginner tutorial in fountain pens. Horrah! Pen together, I tried it out on a couple kinds of paper, kind of assuming it'd be best on my pretty and fancy stationary paper. Nope! Ironically, the best result so far has been on the cheap paper that fills my Notebook of Everything. Keeps up with me without skipping, dries quickly, and looks lovely. So… awesome! Still need to get more used to it so my hand stops cramping up, but so far I'm loving it. Thanks Tak! (Also, I am so going to crack open the fancy colored inks to use on my holiday cards.) Once I'd satisfied that itch and covered lots of paper in random scribbles and nonsense phrases, I opened up a cheap set of water color paints I'd purchased ages ago. Artist Loft, probably no more than ten dollars. But they painted surprisingly nice in my tests as I painted a couple of flowers. A little chalky, but the colors were vivid and I actually liked the quick drying quality. Lots of colors too. Of course, that was about when my mother got home and I packed up to head off to the coffee shop. There are only so many Christmas Hallmark specials I can take in a season, and I've already near reached my cap. No more sweetly hesitant apologies and proposals in the light of the Christmas tree while snow starts to fall outside the window for me. Next on my to do list is going to be working on one of my originals for a bit, followed by either Dragon in my Hand or Dragon and Phoenix I think. (Please, stop me from naming anything else dragon!) So, time to get back to work. These crazy stories won't write themselves, no matter how much I try to bribe them.

State of Me
It’s been a while since I’ve written here, a number of personal factors I won’t really be going into keeping me busy and zapping my energy. That isn’t to say that I haven’t been creating at all, however. So I thought that I might scratch out a ‘state of me’ post to catch up anyone who’s interested.
First of all, I’ve just begun my early prep work for NaNoWriMo. I have a plot in mind that I’m slowly fleshing out an outline for, a small collection of characters, and some ideas for a title. I’d like to have a proper outline well before the event starts this November so my brain can’t shut down and nope out on me again. You have been warned, braid. I know you can’t resist detailed outlines! Your creativity will be mine! Mwahahaha.
*Ahem.*
Another thing I’ve been up to has been making a dollhouse out of a pair of stacked bookcases in my room. Presently, I am working on a witch’s lab/basement with stairs coming down, a cobblestone store, and build-in bookcases. At least, that’s the plan. Progress is slow, but the floor is looking great so far, with over a hundred 'stones’ shaped out with Sculpey and painted.
Speaking of sculpting, I’ve been dabbling in some figure and prop making and having a ball with it. I’m particularly proud of some of the photo props I made.
In addition, I’m trying to improve my drawing abilities, largely in attempt to validate the body-kun figures I bought a few months back. They weren’t too cheap, but oh are they lovely. And also so I can draw the pretty (and occasionally porny) scenes I picture in my head. I’ll even be taking an art class starting in a few weeks at my old community college.
As a huge motivational bonus, a reader on AO3 sent a lovely review for one of my Gundam Wing fics a couple weeks ago. So its notebook has rejoined my day bag and I’ve made a couple pages of progress towards the next chapter. This was a fic I hadn’t touched for years, going to show just how much a few words can mean to us writers. The progress is slow, but it’s coming.
Things have been difficult, I won’t lie, but the drive to create doesn’t let go that easily after being fed for so many years. Which is a fact that I’ve been rediscovering in recent months.
Finally, as a heads up, I may be doing some restructuring of my blogs in the weeks to come, to make it easier for me to keep them active. This may mean combining some, moving others, and renaming a few. If you want to be sure not to lose any content you’re following, keep an eye on Coffeetailor, my main blog, for finalized details and links. Until then, I would love to hear back from people about what you like, what you would like to see more of, and other feedback, so it doesn’t feel like I’m talking to the void. And, of course, so I can give you more of what you’re interested in. Reblog comments, notes, replies, etc. Love them all and I can’t wait to see what you have to say.
Until next time,

Coming Back from Depression
In the last few days, wrote the first lines that I've in ten in what feels like months, outside of work notes and roleplay. And oh does it hurt to think that have been away from the one thing love most to do for so long. It's like a part of me has been numb for so long and is just finally beginning to wake up again.
It was lit newly born enthusiasm, the kind that just cannot wait to be convenient to be expressed, leading me to write the start of this on oversized post-it notes in the dark, using flashes of rare streetlights to guide me back to place whenever I got lost on the page.
Like so many people on this site, I suffer from depression and have been going without any help for it save some incredible support from my friends. But emotional support often can only go so far. And without insurance, getting the medical help I needed was just not going to happen. But then I got insurance and was able to start on antidepressants about two months ago. I'm still adjusting to them, but I was actually able to write again, after so long. And I did so again today, writing a whole page, which is more than I've been able to for too long.
So if any of you have stuck around while I've been on radio silence, thank you. I'm not promising that I'll be back to posting weekly right away like I've tried to do in the past, but I think I'm starting to come back. In baby steps at least.
Love you all. <3

Story Bit: Summer Fears - 1
Story bit that came to me while I was on my way down to Seattle yesterday. Thankfully, my roommate was driving so I was able to scratch it out onto paper.
Summer was a dangerous time to be one of the hidden ones. Too small to fight against the predators of the outside world, to farm their own goods, and certainly to participate in the goods economy that the humans thrived on. They lived in the forgotten spaces and survived on unmissed scraps, relying on schedules and predictable routine to protect themselves. But summer… summer always messed that up.
And Sara hated the season, dreading its return every year before spring had even begun. It’d taken her family from her when she’d been a young teenager, in the house they’d lived in together across town. Summer meant that the human family had packed up their pets and left for the weekend like they did so often. It’d always been a nice time, when they didn’t have to worry about being seen.

Story: A Tiny Valentine Misadventure
Happy Valentine’s Day, readers. I hope you spent it with people you love, whether your significant other, friends, or family. I was going through my list of story ideas last week and found one that was rather perfect for the occasion, so I hope you enjoy.
Jenny had never been that huge of a fan of the whole roses and chocolates in heart boxes and big red balloons parade that made up Valentine’s Day. Heck, she’d never been a big fan of the holiday at all, generally seeing it as too over commercialized and artificially inflated as the singular most romantic night of the year. Mostly so companies could pump people full of pressure to perform.
But Maggie? Maggie loved Valentine’s Day with all of its trappings and candy hearts and candle-lit dinners. And Jenny? Jenny loved Maggie.
So, teddy bear tucked under one arm, a black bag of prizes from the ‘toy’ store on one wrist, sacs full of groceries dangling from the other, and a bottle of wine clutched in her hand, she fumbled for the lock of their little shared apartment. Jenny was determined not to let any annoyance at just how crazy the crowds had been at the stores as last-minute shoppers scrambled for gifts to keep from being banished to the sofa. Or, in her case, to avoid seeing Maggie disappointed. Which was infinitely worse than having to sleep on their overly comfortable couch (that she fell asleep on as often as in bed anyway). She was just glad she’d already bought a few boxes of chocolate days ago.
“Maggie, I’m home!” she called out, listening for the tell-tale humming that always gave away her wife’s location whenever she was in a good mood. But… she didn’t hear anything. “Maggie?”
Still nothing. Well, that was strange. Frowning, Jenny took the groceries into the kitchen to put down on the counter, eyes on the watch for anything out of place. But there was equally nothing. And the door had been locked, like they always kept it even when someone was home. What was more, Maggie’s car had been in its usual spot and… Yes, her shoes were by the door.
Something wasn’t adding up. Had she gone down for a nap? It didn’t make any sense considering today and their plans to cook dinner together, but the woman headed to the bedroom to check anyway.
Which was good, because it was precisely where she found her wife. Only, Maggie wasn’t napping. In fact, the moment that Jenny walked in, Maggie started to jump up and down to get her attention. Another good thing, as she might not have spotted her otherwise. Because generally, Jenny wasn’t actually looking for a six-inch-tall version of her wife, standing in a pile of her own clothes, and completely naked.
“Jenny, I’m down here!” Maggie cried out, waving her arms. She only stopped when the bigger woman knelt down in front of the clothing pile, eyes wide. “You have no idea how glad I am to see you.”
“What the in world happened to you?” Jenny sputtered, staring. As an afterthought, she reached out and cupped her hands around the tiny person, lifting her up with the greatest care. It was Maggie alright, there was no denying that. Oh gods, she was so small… “You shrunk!”
Maggie clung to her fingers as she looked up at her with wide eyes. “I don’t know! I was just setting up the room when I got dizzy. When I could see straight again, I was like this!”
“You didn’t invite any mad scientists into the apartment while I was gone, did you?” Jenny asked, only half joking. She noticed the tiny woman shivering and shifted her hands to cup one against her back for warmth. “Seriously though, you aren’t hurt, are you?”
“No, just really freaked out,” Maggie said, leaning back into her wife’s hand to absorb that warmth and the security it offered to her. If there was one person in the world that she trusted most than anyone else, it was Jenny. “And I was really looking forward to today too…”
Jenny smiled down at her sympathetically, using the side of her thumb to rub her back. “Well… we could try to do something anyway. Since we were planning to stay home for the evening anyway. Just means I’ll have to do all the cooking instead of doing it together. But you could keep me company while I do. And afterwards, we can have a bubble bath together. Ever wanted to swim in a pool sized bubble bath?”
Despite the situation, Maggie had to laugh. Another thing on the long list of reasons she loved the her currently giant partner. Always finding ways to cheer her up. She rubbed her eyes, looking up at her with a smile. “Well, I suppose we can give it a shot. As long as I’m not stuck like this forever.”
“You’re not going to be stuck like this forever,” Jenny said firmly, bending her head down. She’d intended to kiss the top of her wife’s head, but Maggie turned her face up just in time to get her full face. There was a little squeak of surprise against her lips that Jenny found far too impossibly cute, and she kissed her again before straightening up again, eyes shining. “Not that I would complain too much if you did for a while. Might have to write you a ticket for being too adorable though. Since I don’t think you have a license for those cute levels.”
“What are you going to do, handcuff me?” Maggie asked with a laugh, straightening her hair. “I could probably use one as a hula hoop if it weren’t too big for me to lift.”
Jenny smirked slowly. “Oh, I could think of some ways to restrain you.” She moved her hand to encircle Maggie’s waist with her thumb and forefinger, lifting her up. Without even really thinking about it, she used her other hand to pull her shirt forward and dropped her tiny wife right into her cleavage.
Maggie squeaked and squirmed as she fell onto the soft tissue, which just resulted in getting even more stuck. “H-hey!”
“Oh my- Holy shit, I don’t even know why I did that,” Jenny said, staring down at her as the absurdity of her actions actually struck her. After a beat, she started to laugh, the motion bouncing her breasts and making her wife sink even more. “You wouldn’t believe how silly you look down there, love.”
“You’re the one who dropped me in here!” Trying to wiggle her way free again, only to sink between them down to her waist, Maggie gave up with a little huff. But the upset didn’t last long before a giggle snuck out. “Okay, okay, you’ve got to show me. Go on, find us a mirror.”
Covering her giggles with a hand, Jenny pushed herself up to her feet with a hand up to her chest to make sure that her little ‘passenger’ didn’t fall out as she headed to their vanity mirror, undoing the top few buttons of her shirt and pulling it open to expose the woman. “You look like you should be on the cover of a kinky comic book, all stuck in there.”
“Does that mean you’d be in all of them with this rack of yours?” the tiny woman asked, looking up at her. “Alright, pull me out now. I’m not going to stay in here while you’re cooking dinner. I’d probably sink out of sight completely!”
“Aw, but what if I want to have my own personal boob massager while I cook?” Jenny asked with a pout. She gently squished them together around her wife, enjoying the little yelp response, before reaching in to rescue her. “You’ll sit there again when we watch our movie tonight, right? It’ll be nice and warm for you, little streaker.” To make her point, she brought Maggie up to kiss her exposed stomach, delighting in that little squirm from the tickle.
“You’re serious about just carrying on with today like nothing’s happened, aren’t you?” Maggie asked, face flushed from that combination of being trapped in her wife’s breasts and the kiss. Really, she hadn’t missed the fact that she was naked. It had kind of been obvious from the start.
Jenny smiled down at her, adjusting her hold to cup the other woman in her hands. “Well, it’s a big special day for you, isn’t it? That’s what it sounded like. I don’t want it to get completely spoiled for you because of some weird magical who the fuck knows. Though I’m not sure we’ll be able to do EVERYTHING I planned.”
“Do I even want to know?” the shrunken woman asked, doing her best to get hold of that blush. But, if her wife was suggesting what it sounded like she was… well, she’d have plenty more to blush about in the very near future. “You didn’t.”
“Of course I did!” Jenny beamed, carrying her off towards the kitchen so she could get started on cooking them dinner. She’d have to try preparing some of it extra small so that Maggie could actually enjoy it like it was meant to be eaten. And not as little scraps on the side of the plate. Even if she was as cute as a mouse, Jenny wasn’t going to start treating her like one!
Once they got to the kitchen, she set Maggie down on the counter, however reluctantly. Because it was impossibly tempting to just keep holder her like this, keeping her nice and safe and most importantly, close.
“Before I get started, let me find you something to wrap up in,” Jenny said, ducking out of the room to poke in their bedroom for something soft. Something like a washcloth would be way too rough for someone that tiny. She grabbed one of Maggie’s silken scarves, swiftly returning to the kitchen. “What do you think, will this do?”
Maggie reached up to accept the scarf, wrapping it around her shoulders with a happy sigh. “That’s already much better, thanks. I didn’t even think the apartment was this cold. But I suppose being little isn’t all that good for keeping up your internal body temperature.”
“You’re like a little humming bird.” Jenny reached down to ruffle her hair despite a squeak of protest. “So, it’s going to be your turn to stop buzzing around and just sit back while I cook you a magnificent feast.”
“Enough to feed an entire town!” Maggie laughed, moving back from the edge a ways before going to sit down at a safe distance from the stove as well.
The other woman laughed softly, putting her focus and cooking up the curry Maggie had asked for. At least that wouldn’t be too compromised if it had to be cut up. Though she should probably need to skip the rice. It couldn’t really be cut up like everything else could. And Jenny really doubted that Maggie would want to just eat giant pieces of rice, no matter how well cooked.
“You sure you don’t want to just put this off until I’m back to normal?” Maggie asked softly after she’d watched her wife cook for a while. “It’s really sweet that you’re doing this for me, but it’s hardly fair to you that you have to do all the work yourself. You don’t even like the holiday.”
“I don’t mind,” Jenny said, glancing over at her with a soft little smile. With a situation like this, Maggie could probably use some reassurance. “Way I see it, you’re having a pretty lousy day, and what kind of wife would I be if I just added to that by canceling your favorite holiday? So, we’re going to have our nice dinner, skip the walk, enjoy a nice bubble bath, and settle in for a movie before bed. Sound good?”
Maggie looked up at her and let out a long, exasperated sigh. “What did I ever do to deserve someone like you?”
Jenny laughed, moving her pan off of the hot burner to finish up. “Pissed off an ancient trickster god, probably. Because you sure got sucker punched by fate at some point.”
“Don’t sell yourself so short,” Maggie said with a giggle. “At the very least, you’re a good cook. And pretty fantastic in bed.”
“Love, I could BE your bed right now,” Jenny said with a snicker. “In fact, how about you sleep on me tonight? Right on my chest. You’ll be nice and comfortable.”
“Hm…”
Jenny grinned, hearing that little bit of proof that Maggie was at least considering the idea. As long as the other woman was small for a bit, they might as well take advantage of it, right? And it certainly didn’t keep them from chatting while ‘they’ cooked like always. And in the end, Jenny was very proud of the miniature curry chicken she produced for her wife, carrying it and her over to the kitchen table, covered with a red table cloth for the occasion.
She flicked off the light and lit a candle, smiling down at her. “There we go, one romantic dinner from yours truly. You’ll have to eat it with your fingers, but it should cool pretty quickly. Enjoy!”
“Are you just looking for the excuse to lick me clean later?” Maggie asked with a grin as she picked up a piece from the nicest bottle cap that they’d been able to find and blew on it before taking a bite. She let out an exaggerated groan. “That is good, love.”
Jenny snickered, bringing her bigger plate to the table too so she could sit down nearby. "Since when have I needed an excuse to lick you?"
"Since your tongue is the size of my head," Maggie said with a huff, blushing delightfully as she occupied herself with eating. Damn it, now she was thinking about it too. The woman squirmed, fighting down her tell-tale blush. “And don’t even think about getting out whatever you got at the toy store when you were out. I can promise you they’re not going to fit.”
“Darling, if I get them out, then clearly they’re going to be for me,” Jenny laughed, reaching over to ruffle her wife’s hair with a finger, playfully tapping her ass for good measure. Even little, it was very nice looking. “Maybe I’ll let you handle the controls. But that’ll be after the movie. Wouldn’t want you to distract me too much during it. Longing, emotional scene just gearing up for the kiss and suddenly buzzzzz!”
“I’d do it too!” Pushing her cleaned ‘plate’ away, Maggie got up and walked closer to the other woman, her hands on her hips. “It’s hardly fair if you’re the only one who gets to grope when I’m like this.”
Peering down at her, Jenny smirked slowly as she raised an eyebrow. “Oh? Is my little wife suggesting something more interesting? Because if you’ve had any giant woman kinks you haven’t told me about, I’m all ears. And hands.”
“That, love, is something you’re going to have to wait to find out about, all because you’ve been teasing me,” Maggie said with a huff.
“If you’re not careful, I’ll tease you a whole lot more and there won’t be anything you can do about it.” Jenny put down her fork and scooped the other up in her hands, the silk scarf slipping off in the process. She brought her to her face to treat to a full body nuzzle before playfully licking her cheek. “After all, you’re kind of helpless like this. It’s cute.”
Giggling, Maggie tried pushing the giant head away from her, cheeks flushed with red as she just got another nuzzle for her troubles. “Gah, your breath smells like curry. And good thing I’ve got you to protect me then!”
“I’ll just take my payment up front for that then,” Jenny teased, kissing her tiny face before letting up. “Are you all full? I can cut you off some more pieces if you’re still hungry.”
Still pink, the other woman shook her head. “I think I’m fine. But I think I’m ready for that bath once you put the leftovers away. I’m a bit sticky from the food, and it’s not every day you get a spa that includes a wife-style beach to lounge on.”
Jenny rolled her eyes, putting her back down on the table so she could handle the clean-up before their bath. “You mean I get to have a wife-style sponge,” she teased. Actually, the idea of rubbing a soap covered Maggie all over her body was pretty hot. She was going to have to seriously consider it. “Though I’m sure we could think about doing both.”
“A sponge?” Maggie stared at her, grabbing the scarf to wrap around herself again. “Do I look like I soak up soapy water?”
“Fine, a luffa then,” Jenny said with a snort, rinsing off her plate and loading it into the dishwasher. “Because I bet I could lather you up something special, make you all slippery.”
Maggie snorted, rolling her eyes at her wife’s antics. “And hopefully remember to rinse me off before you pick me up or I’ll slip right out of your hand and I don’t think either of us want that to happen.”
“I’m not going to drop you, darling,” the rather distinctly not shrunken woman said with her own little amused huff. “It’ll be fun. And besides, you always have your safe word. Still applies.”
“Even if I can’t clock you over the head if you made it a first to ignore it,” Maggie said. She smiled softly. Some people might have taken advantage of this situation to take complete control over their partner, whether or not they consented. But Jenny wasn’t that kind of person. For one thing, they actually loved each other and couldn’t conceive of hurting one another that way. For another, while they were very amoral in some traditional senses (or at least they were according to her very religious aunts who only came to the wedding because they go to ‘all’ the family weddings), respecting each other was one place they never erred. “I’ll just have to make sure to shout it loud enough for you to hear it over the water.”
Job done, Jenny reached down to scoop her up in her hands again, brushing a kiss over her face. “I’ll make sure to listen so I can’t miss it. The only cries I intend to hear, however, are ‘yes Jenny please more!’”
“Jenny, you are utterly impossible.”
She laughed as she carried her wife away out of the kitchen to their bathroom, carrying the candle along with them in the other hand. So far so good. Maggie had been upset about this whole shrinking thing, and for pretty good reason, but it seemed like her distraction game was working pretty well considering the number of smiles she’d seen on the tiny woman’s face. If she could keep this up until bed, she’d count it as a victory. Tomorrow could be the day that they started figuring this problem out. That is, unless the fates decided to be nice to them and Maggie just woke up back to normal.
The thought made Jenny smirk. If Maggie woke up back to normal, they’d just have to carry on for part two. It’d be a real shame if those new toys went completely to waste.
But apparently her expression didn’t go unnoticed, because Maggie looked up at her as she was set down on the bathroom counter. “Alright, what are you plotting now?”
“Who says I’m plotting anything?” Jenny asked with so much sheer innocence that she confirmed her guilt in an instance. And Maggie’s flat look said as much. “Brain snoop. I was just thinking that it’d be a shame for some of my gifts to go to waste, so you’d best make sure that you dream of getting bigger again.”
“You’re such a perv,” Maggie said, laughing as she shook her head.
Jenny blew her a kiss as she started the water, setting the temperature to be just perfect and pouring in the bubble bath. She’d just have to make sure not to lose the other woman in the foam. While the water ran, she turned to her wife and gave her a smirk before starting to undress, kicking each piece of clothing under the sink as it came off. The fact that Maggie never looked away once made her want to purr.
“Like what you see?” she asked with a flirty grin, holding a hand out for her to climb onto.
Maggie happily took the offer after slipping out of the scarf. “Always do. It’s like watching you on the big screen,” she said with a giggle, letting her eyes roam over the giant body in front of her very obviously. Jenny was her wife. She had full right to ogle, and man did she indulge in that right right now. “But if we’re getting into the water, I think I’ll go for the 3D experience.”
“I like the sound of that.” Jenny stepped into the tub, cupping her wife up against her chest as she moved down into the water and leaned back. Once she was settled, she lifted her hand to let the other woman move. “Is the water an alright temperature? I can adjust if before it’s full if not.”
“Let me check.” Maggie took her time getting up, struggling to balance on the soft body she stood on. Made even more of a challenge when Jenny laughed under her as she walked down her body. “H-hey, hold still!”
“Your feet tickle!” Jenny pointed out, trying to stifle the urge to laugh even harder from just how cute the other woman looked. The water was only up to her stomach so far, meaning that Maggie had to climb down there to check the temperature, and she watched her the whole way. Especially as she waded into the climbing bubbles. “Try not to get lost down there.”
Maggie looked back towards her. “Love, if I were going to get lost down here, it’d be between your legs, not up on your belly.”
Jenny grinned and reached down to pinch that tiny butt before it could vanish into the rising bubbles. “And you say I’M the pervert! Maybe we’ll do that when we’re done with the movie. If you don’t fall asleep on me.”
“Literally.” Feeling the water rising up over her feet and quickly rising, Maggie headed back up her wife’s lovely body. With a little burst of mischief, she climbed up onto one of her breasts, like it was a little island, and smiled up at her. “Yep, I think this is just perfect.”
Snorting, the bigger woman pressed her down into the soft tissue, making Maggie laugh. She rubbed her there playfully before releasing her to let the tiny figure roll down between her breasts.
“So, you think you’ll be alright until we get this figured out?” Jenny asked, looking down at her, face soft.
Maggie smiled up at her, leaning back against her like a soft cushion. “As long as I have you with me, I think so. We did want to have a pretty unique Valentine’s Day after all, didn’t we?”
Jenny chuckled, cupping a hand around her wife’s back to hug her close. “Well, I think we got that one pretty soundly. Happy Valentine’s Day, love.”
“Happy Valentine’s Day, darling.”

Had the appointment but I don’t know the results yet. Right now I have an appointment in two weeks, but might see if I can move that up.
Nervous
I’m going in for an ultrasound tomorrow and I’m super nervous. My family all works so I’ll have one of my best friends with me for support, but I’m still trying not to freak out.

Plot Changes
With a fic finished (and its title corrected because it somehow changed between chapters), I've been starting to turn my head back to some of my original work. In part, my work in progress novel Heart Returned, and in part the short stories I'm supposed to be writing every month and... well, haven't. But believe me, they're next on my list!
But back on the topic of Heart Returned, I've come across a little problem. And no, I don't mean my tiny main character. I mean the fact that a character that had previously been so unimportant that I hadn't even named her suddenly came cackling out of the shadows and annoyed herself as my primary antagonist of the story. Which, of course, is now forcing me to reshape large sections of my plot. And honestly, this was likely a very good thing because while I love the overall character arc, the more worldly events were sort of lacking before this. It does mean, however, that I'm "getting" to scrap and redo much of my outline. Yaaay.
One of the other things I have on my to do list for this story is to finally put down the naming system I want for the world, including the names of the people themselves and the additional familiar relations dictated by the presence of the mental bonds they form. You know, the kind of bond that plays a huge role in that character arc? This story is going to require a lot of world-building, and the task list for it seems to grow every time I put my pen to it. But hopefully, there won't be too many more massive plot uprooting discoveries so I'll actually be able to get this draft written.
There was also one thing I wanted to ask, which was if people reading my blog would be interested in seeing small excerpts from my various projects as I go through them or not. I'm going to be putting up a works in progress page soon (possibly before this goes up), with more description than the list post I've done in the past. I'm going to also be welcoming questions about them, so go ahead and send in those asks if you're curious. Or if you just want to stoke my ego a little bit.
Until then, back to work!

January Round-up
Happy February everyone! I hope everyone has as productive a start of the year as I have. My creative levels this January seemed to be determined to make up for last month because I have been charging ahead full speed and it's been a blast.
If you're reading this, you've probably also noticed that I've been updating this blog a lot more than before, aiming for at least once a week around Wednesday. (Yes, I'm a little late this week.) If all goes well, that'll be continuing on into this month and longer.
But I've also been busy with other writing too! I'm pleased to say that I've finished "Violinist's Roommate," a Hetalia gift-fic that I've had on the to-do list for far too long. It's all up on tumblr under hetalia-giant-tiny, and I'll be putting the whole thing through an edit soon before I put it up on AO3. My other writing project has been starting a Gundam Wing and Borrowers fusion fic series that I've been poking at for years called Emergence. The first chapter is on AO3 now, and I'm a good way through finishing chapter two. Between the two of them, I've kicked up a ton of words.
I believe I mentioned before that I was doing a bullet journal this year along with some bujo-esque elements in my Notebook of Everything. One thing that included was my year of writing spread where I marked every day that I actually wrote. For January, I reached a lovely twenty-four days where I wrote at least a little. A number I am very pleased with.
I've also been trying to read more recently, and while I haven't finished it yet, I've picked up a HILARIOUS book called Supreme Villainy "by" King Oblivion, PH.D. It's the unfinished autobiography of the world's foremost genius super-villain and should be required reading in my not so humble opinion. I'm currently about two-thirds of the way through and should be able to chew my way through another chapter tonight. It's on my Goodreads account if you're interested (and why wouldn't you be?). I'll have all the links down below.
So that's about it for January! I'll be continuing working on Emergence into February as well as working on other projects, so stay tuned!
