It’s been a long time since I have posted. Since March I have been battling more health issues that left me at the start incapable of even leaving my room. I was not even able to talk very well without loosing my breathe. It was. A desperate scary time. Little by little as I was getting some of my health back I reacquainted myself with my sewing machine. I took on a great challenge and the first time was not a success ...but I can still revisit it. This is my second attempt. A labour of love for my youngest daughter. She has gone through so much these last few years and has new life altering challenges to face. I want her to know that no matter what life gives her...she is not alone ...first and foremost ! God is with her!🙏❤️ I pray she will knows that she has more strength than she thinks. I pray she knows how much she is loved ...not just by God ...but by her dad and I. I pray she saw the strength that was given to me to work through this project. That despite the physical challenges I faced ..I prayed for help and gave my trust to Him. I pray she never forgets this. I have endured so much this year ...it has not been kind to me....but I am a fighter and I love a good challenge. I am so very thankful to God for the gift of creativity and for the grace of strength. I am thankful I felt His love when it was so bad. I am also thankful for the prayers and please know that I have been praying for you. I am also really thankful that God guided me to a some wonderful ladies who when I need some help with this special quilt ...we’re always so very giving in help. Had a difficult day of breathing yesterday ...praying this will pass ..now that the medication is slowly leaving my body. We take so much for granted . Be thankful ...even for the smallest of things ...things we take for granted ...eating , walking , breathing....I am thankful to God for giving me the gift to be able to create and let it out when I need to..whether by paint or by pen on paper. This little guy wanted to be painted ...first bird ever !!! 🦅...I would prefer him shorter and fatter ...needs lots of work 🤪...I will definitely try again. Slowly coming back...working on Watercoloring and lettering when I am able to. This is my latest painting. Third attempt! 😳😝 moving on to the next one lol ...when I am not painting I focus on my faith. Learning what I can do to help my family ...friends or neighbours. Any little thing I can for love of others. This warms my heart. I read a sticker today and it said “ Do what makes you happy” I thought about this for quite some time and there is some harm in this phrase. Yes we should make ourselves happy but be careful of the cost ...more importunely...making others happy by showing kindness in a smile , compliment or helping out ...this not only makes another person happy ..but you as well. There are a lot of quotes I am taking a hard look at....do I want it to be just to please me ...or does someone need a friend ..a smile. Little by little catching up on projects..a small hiccup as I broke my ankle and now embracing more appointments for yet more lovely people in my life...actually my physio has been a blessing ...she has reduced the vertigo and my ankle is feeling a bit better...taping is so good! I am thankful that it was not worse. ---it took me awhile but I finally finished a card for a friend who has been an incredible help to me and my family these past few weeks...she is a God send.💖 made some food for the kids and has brought over flowers for me ..such a sweet soul 💖 truly blessed...thank you to everyone who has been praying for me...They are working as I am getting through my days ...God bless you 🙏💖 now I can't take credit for this design ...it's GORGEOUS!! I had to make it!! Thankfully @thepostmansknock blog she has a tutorial on how to create the card.
