Foreigners by Claudia Fontes - Incredible faceless miniature sculptures by Argentinian artist Claudia Fontes, which shows us the organic connection between individuals. Fontes, who is herself a ‘foreigner’ living in the UK, wants to draw attention to the word and concept of 'foreigner', many times associated with discrimination. This series, made of English flaxseed porcelain, was inspired by organic materials such as grasses, sea sponges, natural stones, and animals.

The art of trash - Portuguese urban artist Bordalo II transforms garbage into colorful works of art. He explores mixed media using a wood stand base and the result is a series of upcycled object collages (garbage). The artist sees it not only as a way to recycle but also a critique of the world we live in, where we often have nice things, which are based on junk without realizing it.

Colorful interactive installation by Daniel Escobar
What is music like when you can't hear it? Colombian interactive artist, Daniel Escobar Vásquez, created an interactive installation called Marimba Inclusiva that helps deaf people feel the music. In this case, a marimba de chonta, a traditional instrument from Colombia’s Pacific coast, acts as an interface, which allows deaf people to experience sound through vibrations. Thanks to a combination of sensors and colorful educative video mapping projections, any deaf person can feel the rhythm and learn to play the instrument.

New ‘Deconstruction’ series by German photographer Carsten Witte. This time the photographer, who already captured the architecture of different cities around the world, has created a new series based on his hometown, Hamburg. Characterized by his semi-abstract architectural photographs of iconic buildings and random facades, Carsten presents us with a totally different and deconstructed vision of the city’s buildings.
