Finally getting back with part of the D.A.M.N crew in a way that felt meaningful!’n Seeing tiny moments in the progression of Damien and Huxley’s relationship and how their individual characters complimented each other!!! Chef’s kiss!!! Erik, the man you are!!! The relationship was relationshipping and it was amazing!! Back-to-back fluff videos that developed the relationships of the people in the video 🙏🙏🙏

Exactly! Like I have so much respect for him and the stories he tells!! I think he has so many interesting characters and I think his lore is top-tier. I think my main point is that, as a writer myself, I think there’s a lot on inconsequential moments being recorded and I personally feel like, were these stories being told in more traditional ways, a lot of these characters would be retired or their roles would be drastically reduced.

I was actually so disappointed when the Fred and brighteyes story was canceled. I feel like… if your fans are taking a story in a way you don’t want then either evaluate the story you’re trying to tell or the way you’re telling it and change one of those things. It was super sad to see Erik just quit what was honestly one of the more interesting story arcs

And another thing because apparently I can’t shut the fuck up about the lack of lore videos thing. I feel like the newest Vincent/Porter video proves that you can still have fluffier videos that do some heavy-lifting on developing characters. If you don’t want to update the Hush/Vega storyline too much at any one time than post about Morgan (PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE ITS BEEN A YEAR I MISS HIM SO MUCH ERIK PLEASE) and the other seer obscura getting to know each other. If you want to make something chill after Blake gets an update (I refuse to believe he’s dead and I’m still waiting for him to become some kind of Anti-Hush à la the antichrist) then post a video introducing the real Anton to us since Project Meridian was confirmed to be a dream.

I feel like it might be a scary idea to not have our main source of content be the og boys but it’s time. Give me like 5-10 purely fluff videos a year and the rest can develop plot, characters, or relationships. There’s a way to do that without overwhelming your audience.
