yo. i wanna say something as a quick psa for systems, just in general.

protectors can get scared too.

i know (in our experience, at least) it seems like protectors front and handle what needs to be handled perfectly and seamlessly and thats their job and theyre good at it.

but as a protector, its not always like that. as a protector myself, ill get pulled into front and into a situation that i am terrified of.

this doesnt mean that youre a bad protector. protectors are allowed to be scared of the situations they have to handle.

and i am so so SO fucking proud of all the protectors out there that get scared.

as a trans man, i think it is VERY important for women to reevaluate the way they see the feminist movement, specifically if they see it as an anti-men movement. i an a feminist and as such, i believe women should have as many rights, opportunities, etc. as men do. i DO NOT think that men are “the cause of all our problems”, “all men are evil”, etc.

its seriously hurtful to trans men and transmascs as a community to put them in the same box as predatory cishet men.

but fr I'll never take it seriously when someone says "i was abused by men, I'm allowed to hate them and anyone trying to show love for men is an MRA" like you know how many of us were abused by our mothers and it's still (rightfully) considered not okay to say that women are all abusers just waiting to kill their children. If you blame violence on someones gender instead of the societal mechanisms that encourage and allow violent and harmful behaviour you're perpetuating that cycle.

I’ve made my choice, im abandoning this blog.

I’ve learned a lesson, I can’t be openly trans on the internet.

Ever since I started getting a lot of attention on all my posts it’s been unbearable non-stop harassment. All because I dared to be a trans man on the internet who made posts about being a trans man. All because I dared to be a trans man who made sexual jokes. All because I dared to be a trans man who had a fucking backbone about anything and didn’t let people walk all over me.

I’ve gotten hundreds of transphobic comments and asks, and staff hasn’t done shit about it. I report and I report but nothing. The people who harass me just say up. They can tell me to kill myself. They can call me slurs. They can send me rape threats. And staff just lets it happen.

And I’m tired of it. I just wanted to have fun . I just wanted to shitpost.

I’m going to make a new general blog - one where it’s just me and my friends making shitposts again. Mutuals can DM and ask what it is.
