Who remembers going through the Sears Wish Book and marking the pages that had things you wanted for Christmas? One-stop holiday list making, no clicking on links, searching Google, adding to Amazon cart.

Two great tastes that go together - throwback synth-pop and ‘80s movie clips.
Some genius (and I mean that sincerely) threw The Midnight’s “The Comeback Kid” on top of some Karate Kid clips.
Perfection.

“The great thing about Donald Trump is Donald Trump doesn’t care if he’s right,” Rep Dana Rohrbacher, R-Calif. Yeah, why should he care if he’s right, not like he’s got an important job or anything.

You can't yell FIRE in a theater but can publish fake news that millions of idiots take as gospel? We live in a sick world. Expect to see more civil unrest that will be able to be directly traced to fake news.

I’ll look back at this post in 10 years and be like, “We had no idea how amateurish this looked back in 2016″.

You just can’t make this stuff up. So, in other words, if the press covers Pres-elect the way he wants to be covered, he would have less reason to ... in quotes ... “tweet”. But if the press does their job and reports on the facts, then we can expect this guy to continue to make an ass of himself.
PLEASE TELL ME WHEN WE FIND OUT THIS IS SOME SORT OF UNDERCOVER GAG SHOW.

i knew it. i KNEW it. i KNEW IT. I KNEW IT. When a story like this pulls at your heartstrings, I knew there would be some evil, rotten soul that would leave a demeaning comment. Fortunately, I didn’t see the comment but as you scroll through the Facebook post by WSYX in Columbus, there are a few posts calling for WSYX to remove hateful posts (which they did).
When do we stop giving a free pass to these people? When do we start calling them out, naming them publicly, letting their family, friends, employers, etc know what wretched people they are? This is a battle I’m ready to engage in.
Meanwhile, watch the video. Watch the sportsmanship exhibited by both teams. Watch the EXCELLENT shot by this star athlete.

Thought this might be a Rolling Stones tribute. It's not. Chill alt-rock vibes with a minor hint of reggae. #NowPlaying Westway (The Glitter & The Slums) by Sticky Fingers

Day Movie Watching is the new Day Drinking. After a few thumbs-up reviews from the Twitterverse, decided to check out Edge of Seventeen. Good movie but left me feeling a bit depressed. I fondly recall high school days with a sense of nostalgia - good music, good friends, good times (shout out to Pbro). But that’s what time and distance do to memories. You bury the tedium, the drama, the heartbreaks, the feeling of worthlessness, the time the trouble kid in gym class said, “You think you’re a stoner because you’re wearing a heavy metal t-shirt to gym? You’re not a stoner!”, the time the privileged Prince Charming called you a “fag” on the school bus because you asked if he saw that the guy performing during the assembly didn’t pull his zipper up. Maybe some of the moments of the movie hit too close to home (calling mom for a ride from a party that you didn’t want to be at, didn’t belong at; ready to jump off a bridge because you said/wrote something that you instantly regretted). Still, a well-acted, realistic (no Hollywood fluff), coming-of-age teen angst film.

Been a long time, been a long time ....
The days of Facebook posts are waning. Time to jump back into tumbling (is that what you call it?).
