i’m tired of the shipping stuff in this fandom. i post about one ship that isn’t “canon” or popular and i get people on my ass saying “i don’t like this ship, (“canon”) ship is better” or “i ship (“canon”) ship instead of this” because people think their opinions are “correct.” news flash, your opinion is not “better” than mine because you ship something popular! my ship isn’t a pr0ship or d@rkship or beast x ancient, therefore it should be fine! let me ship my blorbos in peace, okay? i’m tired of “(“canon”) ship is canon, i don’t like that you ship (the ship i ship)” from the fandom. grow up and realize that your opinion is one of MANY, and not everyone will conform to your standards.

Same here. For me it's a bit different. Beast x Ancient has REALLY ruined my enjoyment for Cookie Run Kingdom, day by day. I can't even look at the Ancients without going "Yep, this Ancient is shipped with (insert Beast here)."

For those people who go "Omg baby's first fandom!!" uh no, this is not my first fandom.

It's hard to block tags on Tumblr because... If you block a tag/tags you will still see the post. I don't want to see any posts with that tag. I just want to scroll through Tumblr without seeing toxic ass ships.

Sometimes, in general, people just look at the ship and go "OMG YURI!!!" but... It's more than that.

What Pavlova said at the end of Episode 10 resonated me in a way.

As someone who's on Aroace Spectrum, I feel his pain on Sugarfly mirrors my feelings towards characters. Not just the Beasts and Ancients but the characters that don't fit in either category.

The amount of "EW wtf is HE doing this is GIRLS ONLY" and "omg the gay guy at girls night" and other similar things when Shadow Milk was first spotted in the loading screen for the Eternal Sugar update was so exhausting.

Like can you guys be normal about genderfluid and genderqueer people for two seconds. Because saying shit like that makes it really seem like you can't.

I'm begging people to use the #Rant tag correctly!

I don't want to hear anything random (that wasn't a criticism) or anything that isn't criticism in a tag that was supposed to be about complaints and criticism of something. I understand that you want to reach people, but couldn't you just use the word like shadow.txt, 'rambling' or create your own custom tags? I know it sounds petty, but the actual rants were getting overshadowed by the non-critical ones and it is getting a bummer. I want to hear complaints about the beast yeast updates, I want to hear complaints.

even though I’ve been a fanfic writer for this fandom for a while, I still get nervous while writing and posting my work cause of a silly fear of unintentionally mischaracterizing the cookies.

I know that’s such a weird thing to worry about, but sometimes I worry that my interpretations of cookies are nothing more than surface level observations and my writing fails to portray the character on a deeper level if that makes sense

i’ll be so honest here, my enjoyment for crk has dwindled because of the fandom. No this isn’t my first fandom, I’ve been in tons of fandoms that are like this.. cause fandoms have always been like this. But for some reason, the crk fandom has genuinely made me feel sick when playing the game or even looking at content online. That might just be my brain spiraling or whatever, but the genuine paranoia i feel when interacting with this fandom is so.. overwhelming. Especially with this update coming out, oh my god. I’m extremely worried something drastic will happen in this fandom and I want NOO part of that, but that’s paranoia speaking.

Sorry that this is long, i’ve just had these feelings since i’ve came back to this game. (context, i played the game when it first came out and stopped playing during the sonic collab. I’ve only recently came back.)

When it comes to shipping battles and media literacy issues I would like to put in my two sence

Many of us use "media echo chambers" and media as escapism from actual events people suffer from but due to our late stage capitalist society can't do anything about it so if the fandom is shit, do t be rude and keep you hate to yourself or try to do what you want people to do and get some fresh air and read about actual issues instead of projecting hate into people who have different opinions than you who are just trying to have some fun.

Although people ship two or more who have no romantic interactions doesn't mean you should get mad. Some have different ideas for characters and believe there chemistry would work together,and some ship characters who do ship cannon romances .

Not all ships have to be healthy

Keep age gaps reasonable

If this is a serious problem for you remember the block feature exists

And if above all else fails learn the concept psmp

Hot take: I've always disliked people who choose to colour an animal design (including ears and tails) based on their skin color instead of the colour of their hair whenever they are drawing a feral animal or a Cookie kemonomi with animal ears. If you're going to draw them with animal ears or as a full-blown animal, please make the fur based on their hair colour. It just looks yucky otherwise.

I don't like EternalHolly or HollySugar. I don't even like Beast x Ancient as a whole (mix and match ships). I don't even think Hollyberry Cookie returned Eternal Sugar Cookie's affections. People are too caught up in the Yuri aspect to actually do a dive into their actual relationship.

I love SM and PV’s canon dynamic so much but I can’t stand Pureshadow and that makes finding content for them so hard because even if a comic or art piece isn’t shippy it’ll be tagged as Shadowvanilla and I don’t want to block the tag :( I wish there was a way that your likes were still visible even with blocked tags because I just want to look at the art I have saved :(

I feel like the Beasts shouldn't stay around for whatever reason. If they're meant to crumble, they're meant to crumble.

I don't want Devsisters to keep them alive (if they are planning on having them crumble) just to be characters only meant to make money off of.
