au where optimus and prowl have a relationship going on in secret and they decide to fuck in starscream's office and it's like really bad, papers on the floor, datapads thrown, overloading over and over and starscream walks in and just sees everything. and it's like , the lights are off at first so he walks up to the desk where they're fucking and it's really bad and he like runs out and locks himself in the closet or something he's kinda traumatized

Rodistar sparkling time but Rodimus and Starscream's sparklings are actually earthlings, meaning they were born on Earth. Rodimus loves earth and is imbedded in various forms of Earth culture that it was important to him that his sparklings were born on Earth. Of course, that doesn't vibe with Starscream who, during the war, would squash humans in his past time and he doesn't think highly of them and the last thing he wants is for his sparklings to be born on Earth.

Rodimus however, has a plan. When they find out about the first sparkling, Rodimus invites Starscream to Earth just for a while, for some 'political' discussions. He knows how to get Starscream comfortable, how to convince him to stay on Earth longer. Starscream hasn't told anyone save Rodimus, but he does love some of what Earth has to offer. He loves flowers and trees, the Earth sunsets, the feeling of snow in moderation upon his frame, the sound of the water upon the coastline...Rodimus takes Starscream to so many places on Earth to experience these things and for a moment, Starscream forgets he's carrying or at last he pretends to.

He will pout and pretend he hates Earth but he can leave at any moment, he just likes being near Rodimus and he loves seeing Rodimus happy. He's very grateful to Rodimus.

The whole process isn't just an important thing to Starscream and Rodimus because they'll be parents, but it's also important because as a Seeker, Starscream wasn't able to carry at first. Seekers were constructed only to sire, not carry and Starscream always dreamt of only carrying. So he had to have various procedures done in order to be able to carry and Rodimus was with him all the way, even before they were officially together. When everything worked out well, after years of trying and surgeries, Rodimus and Starscream were together, and he was quick to ask to be Starscream's sire. That means a lot to Starscream, the whole process was difficult for him and Rodimus was unrelenting in his support of Starscream.

So long story short, if Rodimus wants all his children to be Earthlings, then Starscream is going to suck it up and make sure they're Earthlings.

#also this is me just wanting a happy sparkling megastar au where starscream carries because#there are absolutely no happy megastar aus where starscream is a carrier it's always the other way around -ESPECIALLY tfp#like carrier starscream is usually seen as a punishment or to make him seem weak...same with submissive/bottom starscream tbh#kajdfl;ajf #like i hate how a lot of carrier starscream megastar is like this bad - traumatic thing for starscream whereas when it's the other way#around it's a good thing - same with making him sub and people don't realize the weird message that conveys

bro you LITERALLY put one of my biggest issues with megastar into words. I didn't know what the issue was and why I got weirded out by a lot of content but this is it. Especially 'when it's the other way around it's a good thing' part. People either make sub starscream the worst thing possible or talk about it like it's the worst thing to ever happen to his character and then flip things around with him and make him dom/sire and then suddenly he's not weak anymore. I wish people would put in more effort into making carrier/sub Starscream a good thing rather than making it this shameful, taboo thing that he's ashamed of. I really don't mind how people ship Starscream but like you I've noticed a ton of weird vibes. People can do what they want but you honestly just explained my issue with a lot of it.

this isn't the case for everyone, but it's something i've seen a lot. i've seen people who will write fics with starscream carrying with megatron and it's the worst experience for him, but then the other way it's like supposed to be good or even to show that starscream is powerful, or isn't weak or whatever.

It's so hard to find fics, or aus, etc. that have starscream carrying that don't push this idea that it's something truamtic and it's even worse to find people who don't see it that way but in conjunction see carrier megatron as the only 'acceptable' and non traumatic/abusive forms of sparklings and mechpreg in megastar. I don't think people know how weird it is to act as if starscream carrying (or lbr even subbing) by default is a bad thing and that it is the worst thing in the world so the fix if is to flip things around.

and then it's also unfair to megatron to portray him like only one way as a sire. like i hate that so many people portray him as a brutish, harmful and abusive person when he's a sire, when in reality i just find him being a very soft, nervous and caring sire...like do y'all hate him that much?? Do you hate him that much that you just rely on those unfair tropes for him, same with starscream.

but then when it's the otherway around suddenly it's all good. all the abuse, hatred, etc., is all gone??

I'm very into the idea of Thundercracker and Megatron having a sparkling together, but by the sounds of it, it doesn't last. Was it a one night stand kind of thing or were they serious, and what convinced Thundercracker to take the sparkling after Megatron had him? Wait- HOW was Thundercracker able to do that?

In my AU for them it started off as a one night stand but eventually developed into something more. Thundercracker had a lot of hope in Megatron as leader of the Decepticons, and Thundercracker reminded Megatron of a Decepticon version of Optimus. Like, all the qualities Megatron saw in Optimus, he saw in Thundercracker too...it's like, if Optimus was a Decepticon, he'd be Thundercracker T-T. So a lot of it started like that, but the two of them began to fall for one another. Eventually, Megatron was sparked and there was this idea that that child would be heir of the Decepticons, but as Thundercracker lost sight of the cause because literally everyone around him was trying to destroy the galaxy, he decided he didn't want his sparkling growing up in that environment. So he ends up taking him after Megatron has him ... it's something he reregets....and the two of them meet after the war, and Megatron gets to meet his sparkling all grown up.

Megatron and Thundercracker admit that while there was a *flame* during the war, they didn't really love one another but they're close now. Buuuut Thundercracker puts it out there that if Megatron ever wants to carry more seeker sparkling, he doesn't mind lending his spike akdjf;ajf

But long story short that is the first child Megatron ever had while a Decepticon, so technically...he may still be up and running to be leader of the Decepticons if there's a newly reformed movement??

while megatron is a natural carrier and has carried many times in his life, starscream isn't, has never carried and it's not something he can naturally do, even though he wants to do it. in a lot of my aus, esp my tfp aus, the two of them run into a lot of trouble when they get together regarding starscream and carrying. it's weird to him because seekers don't ever carry, they are great sires- he's carried with seekers before during the war and even a bit after. And like all seekers, megatron just realizes starscream can't carry naturally, but it's still a desire of his and while megatron has only ever carried, he doesn't mind siring for starscream just because of how close they are. or at least, attempting to. starscream has to get a lot of procedures done to do it, many failed and unsuccessful. It's a first for siring for megatron too but he wants to do it with starscream.

the point of this little fic and running au of mine is that, while starscream has so many difficulties carrying, megatron is there for him. with every failed procedure and how depressed starscream is, he tells starscream about his own experiences to make him feel better. starscream eventually asks about it, how it feels, what it's like, emergence, etc. and when things don't work for starscream the first few times, megatron is always there to encourage him, and he convinces starscream not to give up.

eventually, things do work out and starscream is able to carry multiple times, but starscream enjoys hearing a lot about megatron's experiences. Starscream also listens carefully to what Megatron says about his past. He had many relationships where he was happy with his partners, and he carried and he and those sparklings are in close contact, but there are some more somber stories, where Megatron's sparklings were taken away from him when he was in the mines, where he was only used as property to produce more miners and he's lost those sparklings. Or where shortly after he had his sparklings, his partners took them from him no trusting him to be a good carrier (during the war)

Obviously, Starscream takes it upon himself to track down megatron's missing children, the ones he's lost contact with, the ones he doesn't know, etc. This isn't something unique to my tfp stories, where this au started. In most of my fics, Starscream goes looking for all the children taken from Megatron while he was carrying.

But the gist of this is that, Starscream has a lot of issues and difficulties with carrying because seekers aren't built for it, but megatron is always there to help him and make him feel like less of a failure and also help him after his emergances, because it's incredibly difficult for starscream.

writing a megastar au where like, megatron is the conjunx of the head of Cybertron, optimus who comes from an affluent government family of archvist. megatron is also affluent clearly, but a lot of that has to do with optimus. but basically, megatron is known as his conjunx and he is pampered and taken care of, etc., and clearly they have some sparklings.

starscream on the other hand, is a lower class citizen. he is a seeker from a failed, illegal project where the ruling class of vos, the Wing Lords, wanted to duplicate their likeness so made seekers illegally to be like them. this idea was that seekers would be the next elites in society. some of them are, starscream on the other hand, is not. he was deemed deficient and was actually going to be exterminated but he fled vos. The wing lords are still trying to kill him he did something stupid.

anyway, he lives in the lower parts of Cybertron and the people he lives with (Thundercracker, skywarp but also rodimus, drift and ratchet) need money and he needs money. starscream kinda wanted to be a model, dancer, and an actor because he just loves that life. but that's not happening, so he decides to take up a body guard position. he ends up seeing a body guard call put out for opimtus's conjunx, who is carrying again, and his children. so starscream sucks up his pride and decides to take up the position.

anyway, that's how he and megatron meet and eventually, fall in love. he warms up to megatron and the kids, and megatron for the first time gets to be put in a position where he can spoil something. not that he doesn't mind being spoiled, because he IS, but it's nice and very different for him to have someone like starscream who kinda want the life he has but won't flat out say it, but megatron uses his money to get him gifts. in turn, starscream offers megatron protection and company because optimus is always away doing government stuff. and the kids actually really love starscream too.

and it's crazy. and then, optimus on the other hand knew ratchet in the past and loved him so like he finds him too and is like 'can you be my second conjunx'.

i also needed the one who looked like megatron to be unnaturally short. and it needs to be known that the short gene comes from megatron.

the tall one is megatronia, the short one is nebula. they have one brother , Atlas, and one sister, Andromeda.

they started as tfp ocs but they're also my idw/mtmte ocs. they also accidentally get stuck in a few other dimensions in trying to find their way home--they completely erase their existence in a few by accident.

also interesting fact about nebula is that when she was born she was genderless. in my aus, sparklings 'choose' a gender before emergence, meaning they give themselves specific coding. nebula doesn't choose one until a few months after she is born. she chooses to be a girl, but until then she was genderless.

so more reproductive but also body hate hcs for starscream. so he is a seeker, and seekers were created to be strong grade military bots, and when it comes to reproduction they were specifically created to sire. seekers themselves were not actually made to carry, they were seen as 'sires on demand' and it would be something that was expected of them because a sparkling sired by a seeker has extremely capable flight abilities and agility, but is also strong and sturdy.

starscream didn't like that, he didn't ever have the desire to be a sire or use his spike, but it was always something that was expected of him. so the whole thought that, due to his body type he had to be a certain way and it was expected of him, even by some romantic partners, made him really sick and it makes it difficult for him to get in romantic relationships or talk about starting a family. starscream only wants to exclusively carry but not a lot of people want that from him or expect that of him. he also had to go through procedures to get it done as well, to be able to carry and to completely remove siring capabilities/protocols from his system.

one of the many reasons he likes to change his body around so that he isn't associated with a seeker frame type when he gets into relationships.
