Hello and welcome to the official blog for the Presitale AU!

*Quick Notes* • This is a human AU. • While this AU is lighthearted and fun, it also touches on many very serious issues. • Check out the character information here, and check out the pairing / romantic interest information here.

This is just an introduction piece, and touches on the main story. More story will be added as time goes on and the AU grows!

Underground High - a prestigious high school and home to the most eccentric and diverse group of students. Run by Principal Asgore Dreemurr, the school has been at the top of the ranks for years, and is still going strong. When new student Frisk transfers from their old school, they quickly realize that Underground High is by no means anything they have ever experienced before. Friendships, love, competition, and fights are to be looked forward to every day at school, and they try their best to maintain the peace amongst everyone…because the way they see it, love is better than hate, is it not? Either way, there is a huge rivalry going on between two classmates - Mettaton and Undyne. The Class President campaign for the year has begun, and Mettaton has stepped up to the plate. Undyne has been the Class President ever since she first started attending the school, and she has completely scared off any competition…except for now.Mettaton first heard about the campaign when he overheard Undyne and Alphys talking about it, and he decided then that he would make the most perfect Class President. With the help of disgruntled classmate, Burgerpants, Mettaton launches his campaign and quickly becomes the talk of the school. No one has ever gone up against Undyne before, and the students become very interested to see how the campaign goes. Overachieving student, Papyrus, is one of the first people to hear about it - being that he and Undyne are the best of friends. At first he loves the idea of helping Undyne with her campaign, but when he hears who she’s going up against…things quickly take a turn. Papyrus has had a huge crush on Mettaton ever since he first laid eyes on him, and even started the school’s very own ‘Mettaton Fanclub’. He finds himself torn between his best friend and romantic interest. Alphys is in a similar situation, being almost like a mother to Mettaton as well as his best friend, and having a huge crush on Undyne. Both Undyne and Mettaton obviously do not get along, and haven’t for a very long time. Back during first year, Mettaton’s cousin, Napstablook, started the school’s music club. Undyne showed interest being right away, claiming that she knew how to play piano and would love to be a part of it. Both Undyne and Mettaton got along for the first little bit, but when Mettaton’s ego became too much for her…she decided to quit (she also didn’t like Mettaton sprawling out on the piano every chance he got, while she played it). Needless to say, the school has been filled with a lot of drama ever since the campaign began, and all Frisk really wants to do is graduate so they can get out of there.

As of right now, there are only two official character designs, and they are cosplays done by myself (Mettaton) and my friend, tylorfountain1 (Alphys).
