when i was a kid i made the misfortune of reading a cassandra clare book. it was from the second series in the mortal instruments universe (the one where she made up her own kind of fantasy incest) and only one book had come out. so far, it wasn't too bad, and i was like 10 or something and looking for the next book in the series. this 20 something year old (not a worker, just a fan of the series ig) told me that there werent any other books in that series out yet, but there was a whole other series before that that i could read instead.

this 20 something looked in my innocent, 10 year old eyes, and handed me the ron/ginny harry potter incest fan fic book. my mother was with me. why. why did she do this.
