It would help Regulus calm down and than Barty would explain the jello theory to him when there is turbulence.

regulus black is terrified of airplanes, so having to travel somewhere always gives him anxiety. so barty usually will grab his fingers to distract him, or covers his eyes by bringing him against his chest.
