Fallout TV Show Headcannons (pt.1)

•Being a big time star Cooper or “The Ghoul” secretly collects old time movies where there’s a cool main character and a dog side kick. Bonus points if the dog looks like is old pal Roosevelt.

•Before he turned into the harder man he is today, “The Ghoul” would try to tame wild mongrals as best as he could but more often that not he would always have to put him down.

•“The ghoul” keeps extra “jerky” in his pockets just in case he runs into a hungry dog, wondering through the wasteland.

•Occasionally “The Ghoul” will take on bounties and refuse to accept caps or any other payment. Especially if it evolves kids and animals.

•When on the road together Lucy will often try to leave supply stash’s for struggling survivors on the road. And more often than not “The Ghoul” will try to talk her out of it and tell her how they need to keep the supplies but she more often than not gets her way.

So, do you remember how when you first meet Danse he asks you to help him with securing some doohicky that would help his squad radio the rest of the BoS, but inside the building you and him are overrun by Synths so Sole activates the old rocket in there and blasts them, and sorta Danse, into ashes?

Like yeah he's fine, he turned out fine, don't know how he didn't get burns from his armor, but I straight up thought I killed the poor bastard for a moment. So! If it's alright I'd like to ask Danse's reaction to Sole on the verge of breaking down from almost getting him killed, it's been a rough few days an almost murdering a man with the full force of a rocket doesn't make it any better

Danse Reacts to Sole Setting Him on Fire

Sole had been through a whirlwind of chaos ever since the bombs fell, but nothing quite prepared them for the encounter with Paladin Danse. As they followed him into the decrepit building, tasked with securing a vital piece of technology to boost the Brotherhood of Steel's communications, Sole's nerves were already frayed. The relentless onslaught of Synths only made matters worse. In a desperate bid to turn the tide, Sole activated an ancient rocket, unleashing a fiery inferno that consumed the Synths—and nearly Danse.

Emerging from the smoke, Danse’s armor was scorched but intact. Sole's heart pounded in their chest, the horror of almost killing an ally weighing heavily on their mind. As the adrenaline faded, Sole found themselves on the verge of breaking down, overwhelmed by the fear and guilt of what had almost happened. They turned to Danse, eyes wide and filled with unspoken apologies, ready to face his reaction.

Danse grunted in pain as he looked up at Sole's piercing gaze. What the hell was wrong with her, he thought, I definitely shouldn’t have brought an amateur on a simple catch-and-retrieve mission. Now all he felt was burning and stinging. But a Paladin must always endure for the sake of the Brotherhood. He whispered “Ad Victoriam” to himself and struggled to get on his feet again. As he regained his composure, all he could hear were the soft whimpers and apologies of Sole. Without missing a beat, he spoke to her, “I got cooked by those flames, but thanks to the power armor, I’m still in one piece. Let's focus on completing the mission. We don’t have time for breakdowns.”

Sole, overwhelmed with guilt, couldn't hold back the tears. "Danse, I’m so sorry. I thought… I thought I’d lost you."

Danse’s expression softened, just a fraction. “This isn't the first time I’ve been through the wringer, Sole. And it won’t be the last. You did what you had to do. Now, pull yourself together. We need to secure that transmitter and get out of here.”

Sole nodded, wiping away the tears and steeling themselves. Danse was right—there was no time to fall apart. Taking a deep breath, they followed him deeper into the building, determined to see the mission through and prove that Danse’s trust wasn’t misplaced.

As they moved forward, Sole couldn't help but glance at Danse, marveling at his resilience. Despite everything, he was still pushing forward, and that strength gave Sole the courage to do the same. Together, they would overcome whatever challenges lay ahead.

***********Days Later**************

Days later, after successfully securing the transmitter and returning to the Brotherhood’s headquarters, Sole found themselves in a routine, but the memory of nearly killing Danse lingered. They couldn’t shake the image of him engulfed in flames, nor his unwavering resolve afterward. Despite the mission’s success, Sole felt a growing need to make amends, to show Danse they were capable and trustworthy.

One evening, Sole decided to visit Danse in the workshop where he was repairing his power armor. The room was dimly lit, the smell of oil and metal filling the air. Danse glanced up as Sole entered, his expression unreadable. “Sole,” he acknowledged with a nod. “What brings you here?”

Sole took a deep breath, their heart pounding. “I wanted to thank you, Danse. For believing in me, even when I nearly got you killed. I’ve been working on my skills and I won’t let you down again.” They stepped closer, their voice dropping to a sultry whisper. “And I wanted to show you my appreciation… personally.” They let their fingers brush lightly against his arm, eyes locked onto him with unmistakable intent. The air between them crackled with tension, the workshop suddenly feeling much smaller. Danse’s gaze darkened, his composure faltering for just a moment as he absorbed the full implication of Sole’s words.

How would the companions react to riding the nuka cola space rollercoaster?

Companions React to riding the Nuka-Cola Space Rollercoaster (+GAGE)

Once the Nuka World Roller-coaster, finally got electricity and was fixed up. Sole wanted their companion to go with them and try it out. While some of them are fine with it, others aren't. 

Cait:

The short answer was NO. No matter how many times Sole asked Cait it was a straight NO. But with a few bottles of beer and a bet of 150 caps from Hancock. Cait strapped herself into the rocket. For the first few seconds Cait was fine but when the machine started moving forward. Suddenly 150 caps weren’t enough but it was too late. And with that, the ride took off taking Cait with it. While Sole was laughing and cheering, Cait was clawing at the machine while screaming. Seeing Cait freak out Sole immediately takes her hand to calm her down. Without hesitation, Cait instantly calmed down followed by a blush. Soon after the ride was over and they arrived at the beginning again, Cait screamed, “One more go!”. It's gonna be a long night.

Curie:

Roller-coaster? This is something that she read about in the lab a long time ago. She always wanted to ride a roller coaster. Some of the scientists that she worked with used to talk about the Nuka World rollercoasters every now and then. Which made her wish she could experience one. But that was all before she got her new body, so she could definitely experience that now. And with that both of them got onto the coaster and shot off past the coaster doors, speeding through the coaster, Curie was so overwhelmed with such happiness. She didn't know what to do, either cry, laugh, or scream. So why not all three. Even though the coaster started only minutes ago it felt like seconds to her. Begging to ride one more time they went off again. After the third time, Sole got off spinning while Curie kept going. She was so happy!

Danse:

Absolutely not. This was a firm no. There was no getting around it. The fact that Sole would even ask a question like that, and the fact he was even entertaining it by answering them was even crazier. But a drunk Danse was completely different. He was faster jumping on the roller coaster than Sole was. Though it was absolutely hilarious to see Danse so excited on the coaster, the one downside was that Danse throw up halfway through the ride which got on the coaster railing. Hopefully, Codsworth could clean it up later. Once the coaster was over Danse wanted to go around again but Sole got him out of the coaster and got him to bed. Geez.

Deacon:

This is an obvious answer YES! There is nothing this man will not do. So the fact that Sole had mentioned it, he was already there. Even before Sole. In fact, Deacon had already ridden the coaster twice by the time Sole had brought it up. And of course, he wouldn't mind going with Sole this time. Jumping into the coaster with Sole the coaster started as soon as they buckled in. The coaster then sped off. With this being Sole's first time they shrieked with wonder and surprise as the lights flashed and the aliens battled. So to not ruin Sole's experience Deacon acted shocked and he also pretended to be surprised. Once the roller coaster ended they both got off happy that they got to experience it together.

Hancock:

HOLY FUCK YES. We all know Hancock was down for absolutely anything. Hoping in the rocket with Sole in between his legs, he took some jet and they were off. Feeling the rush of jet and the adrenaline. Hancock cried tears of joy. He has never felt such a high as this one. But all things must come to an end. So holding a screaming Sole in his arms while the ride came to a close, he got an idea. He wouldn't tell anyone, but this was probably one of the best days ever since he discovered he could make BuffJet. Coming to a stop Sole got out but before they could help Hancock out, he was off again. Leaving a hearty scream and an empty jet canister behind. 

MacCready:

ABSOLUTELY! There was no way in hell he was gonna pass up this chance. He strapped in and even before Sole could get in Mac ordered the Mr. Frothy to press go. Shooting off like a rocket all anyone could hear and see was Mac smiling and screaming with his hands in the air. By the time the rollercoaster was over Mac still wasn't ready to get off. He had to go around 5 times before Sole gave up and left. But Mac was none the wiser he just kept asking to go again. Maybe later he will ask Sole to join him.

Valentine:

Well, he wasn't entirely against it but also not entirely for it. He mainly got on just to ease Soles' constant begging and bribing. He gave Piper his hat and sat down next to Sole accepting his fate. Shooting off Sole looked at him with a huge smile. He smiled back but his smile soon turned into a loud scream followed by laughter and then more screaming. He was having fun but this still scared him. Minutes go by of this same emotional cycle. And once it ended Sole smiled brightly and thanked him. Even though he was a little scared at first, it was really fun, and seeing Sole happy made it 10x better.

Piper:

She was a little on the fence but it took very little convincing from Sole to do it. Plus maybe she could put this story in her paper. Maybe something a little positive to give her readers. So she strapped herself in with Sole not too far behind and waited for the ride to start. As if on cue the ride shot off before she could even finish her thought. This was probably the most fun she's had in years. This was such a crazy feeling. She never felt joy and fear at the same exact time before. The pits in her stomach were knots the whole time and she couldn't help but sweat through the palms of her hands. But in the end, it was all worth it, she enjoyed it so much that she might have to bring Nat to try it one day.

Preston:

He was super nervous about it at first. It's not like he has a fear of heights, it's just that he doesn't like being up high that long. The highest he was fine with was the castle wall or even the window at the Museum. So this was a bit of a bigger task he was quite ready for. But with Sole's constant reassurance and their hand on their shoulder, Preston felt okay and ready for anything. Strapping into the coaster with Sole right next to him, he closed his eyes to prepare but before he could even start... BOOM! The coaster shoot right off instantly without hesitation Preston began screaming at the top of his lungs with Sole laughing right next to him. Which felt like seconds to Sole felt like hours for Preston. He didn't stop screaming until the coaster stopped completely. All he could say was never again as he left the coaster.

X6:

There is no shock with this one. NO! There was absolutely no way that X6 was going to sit his ass on that rollercoaster. That was until Sole was made the leader of the Institute and anything they order he had no real choice but to follow. Even though secretly he would have gone but he's a courser he has a reputation to uphold. So with that both Sole and X6 strapped in and enjoyed the ride. While Sole was happy and screaming, X6 kept his face completely straight. Though on the inside he was screaming like a schoolgirl. After the ride Sole got off and walked away, along with everyone else, heading back to the Fizz Top for dinner. X6 stayed and hid until he knew everyone was for sure gone. Once the coast was clear X6 ordered the Mr. Frothy to start up the roller coaster. Jumping back in the coaster went around again and again until he was tired of it. If only Sole knew...

BONUS:

GAGE:

Absolutely the actual fuck not. FUCK NO. There will be nothing that will get Gage on that damn roller coaster. Not unless he had a gun pointed at his head, and even in that case he would still say no. So if that's the case and he feels that way, why the hell is he sitting next to Sole on the coaster waiting for the ride to start. This wasn't how he wanted to spend his night, he just couldn't remember how he got there. And then he remembered CAPS. Mags Black. She had bet him 3,000 caps that he wouldn't ride the coaster and wouldn't scream. So here he was sitting on the coaster with Sole while the other raider bosses stood and watched. Shooting off like a rocket they were off, zooming through the ride, which made it harder and harder to keep his composure. Letting out a small shriek he quickly covered his mouth. Soon coming back into the platform again Mags glanced at Sole and before they could say anything Gage kicked them. Sole waving off Mags and letting her know that Gage won. She tossed Gage the bag of caps and left with a puff. Before Gage got out Sole snatched the caps back with a smile and said "I wasn't gonna say anything about you screaming but since you kicked me, I think I'll keep this." Gage just shrugged and nodded his head. Well, at least he had a little fun.

Idk if people still want fallout 4/fallout reaction content but I’m willing to post some if people want it. Ik it’s almost been a year since my last post but I’m back and ready to write. 😁

Hiiiiii!! Nice to see your inbox open!!! Can you do Fallout 4 companions reaction to sole baking them a birthday cake??

It was a very special day for Sole’s beloved companion. It was their birthday. And sole wanted to make it super special for them. Starting with the cake. Believe it or not before the war, Sole and their spouse actually took a couples cooking class for a year or so. So Sole had this all covered. All they need was the ingredients.

Cait:

The day had finally come. Cait had always hated her birthday ever since her 18th. And we all know what happened then. But nevertheless Sole practically begged Cait to celebrate. It didn’t help that Sole made that face that she couldn’t resist. Ahh what the hell, it couldn’t be that bad right. At least she knows that she won’t get sold into slavery again.

But the moment Sole brought out that cake, Cait couldn’t help but cry. This was the first time ever someone actually truly cared about her and her birthday. Studying the cake as Sole put it down, more tears began to fall. It was a two layer cake decorated with candy four leaf clovers and miniature psycho pieces. And at the top a scene of a miniature Cait attacking a deathclaw with a baseball bat. It was beautiful. They really did capture Cait in the moment. As the other companions gathered around and sang happy birthday, all Cait could do was cry and practically squeeze the life out of Sole. They really did it. They really did make the day special.

Curie:

Curie had never had a birthday before. Then again why would you give a Ms. Nanny a birthday. But that was in the past now. It had been a year since Curie’s transition into the synth body and she never felt better. Sole really wanted to celebrate in a proper way. So they were going to throw a party, thought she never been or even seen a party. Back in the lab when her fellow scientists would have birthdays, they wouldn’t celebrate. Instead they would just straight up ignore it. But now she doesn’t have to do that. She can freely celebrate.

So right away. Curie started to do research. After all she was a scientist. She read many books about parties and how to make one. She even got a few settlers to help her get some party supplies together. Once they gathered everything and set it up, Curie took a few steps back to admire her work. But unfortunately she took to many and ended up crashing in to Sole. Who was in fact holding Curie’s beautiful cake. Thankfully no harm was done to the cake and that they could continue on with the ceremony. But before they could Curie stopped to admire that cake. It was a sort of shaped like a Ms. Nanny and even a small figure of Curie right next to it. It was absolutely amazing. Curie never know how talented Sole was. It must have taken them hours. Embracing Sole in a tight warm hug. She started to cry a little bit. This was the best first birthday ever.

Danse:

Absolutely not. Those were his exact words when Sole asked him about celebrating his birthday on the Prydwen. This was completely against the brotherhood code. Well at least he thinks so. His captain always told him that back when he was just a recruit. The Prydwen is supposed to be used for military operations only, not some birthday party. But before Danse could explain that to Sole, they were already off planning. This made him start to panic, he was so worried about what Elder Maxson would think that it had been hours since he ate or even left his private quarters. Hearing his stomach rumbling he made his way out the door to the mess hall. So consumed in his thoughts he barely even noticed the decorations and confetti. But before he could react, everyone yelled out “Surprise!!”

Danse looked like a radstag in headlights. His mouth stood open as he looked around the room to see Elder Maxson smiling at him, Knight-Captain Cade smiling while raising a drink to him and even Procter Ingram grinning at him sheepishly. She must have been drunk. Still scanning the room his eyes landed on Sole smiling and holding the most detailed cake he had ever seen. A beautiful two layer cake decorated with red and black fondant. With a brotherhood crest all around the cake and a miniature Danse on top, with his foot on top of a dead super mutant. He had never seen anything like it. It was truly one of a kind. All Danse could do was blush and thank Sole nervously. No one has ever done something like this before. He truly did appreciate it but he had to make it up to Sole later on.

Deacon:

This railroad spy was already two steps ahead of Sole. He knew what they had up their sleeve. Trying to throw a little “surprise” party. Nothing is a surprise to Deacon he knows everything. But he knew Sole would be so heartbroken if he revealed that he knows what’s they’re planning. So he decided to be a good boy and stay out of it until the day comes. The worst part about it was, is that it was eating him away inside that he couldn’t say anything. I mean it was so obvious. Why else would Sole call everyone to Railroad HQ. They would have to do way better next time if they wanted to trick old Deacon.

Walking through the hidden door in between the bricks Deacon pretend to be shocked when he saw everything there. Throwing confetti and yelling surprise, Deacon tried to make the most believable face he could. But to Sole, they knew he was full of shit. But little did Deacon know Sole had something up their sleeve. Running to hug Sole and thank them for the surprise, Deacon stopped dead in his tracks. Because right behind sole was a head replica of himself. With the shades and all. They even got down the shit eating grin he always did. Looking at Deacons face in shock, Sole smiled. They truly did surprise him.

Hancock:

Hancock was too high of jet to even listen to what Sole was ranting about. Birthday this and party that. All he could do was just shake his head and agree. “Yeah sure, Sole” was all he could say, and with that Sole disappeared out the door. Taking another hit of jet, Hancock passed out. Only to come to, hours later with Fahrenheit shaking him awake. Jumping up alert, he wondered why she was just standing there. Without a word, she took his hand and lead him out side.

Taking out a cigarette, Hancock shielded his eyes from the bright neon lights of the stores. Taking out a match he lite the cigarette before looking up and dropping it straight on the ground. Looking up Hancock saw most of his town’s people gathered around party decorations with Sole in the center beaming ear to ear. Smirking himself, the town’s people began to drunkenly sing happy birthday. Walking up to Sole and the cake he stopped in his tracks. His dark eyes glowing as he laid his eyes on the magnificent cake that displayed in front of him. A single layer cake decorated with the prewar flag and a miniature Hancock sitting on his signature red couch surrounded by miniature chems. Like buffout and psycho. Sole even got a little detail in there where Hancock is holding a empty jet canister. It’s was absolutely amazing. Laughing he took Sole in his arms as everyone continued to sing. This feeling was way better that jet.

MacCready:

The former gunner never celebrated his birthday with the gunners. He did back in little lamplight with the other kids but once he got big enough he had to leave. His birthday was sort of dreadful in little lamplight, it was just a yearly reminder that he wasn’t getting any younger. So he stopped celebrating for a while, until he meet Lucy and had Duncan. And so he started to celebrate again. His birthdays gave him purpose. A reason to push on, but when Lucy died and all he had left was Duncan, birthdays changed again for him. No reason to celebrate when the love of your life is gone and your son is sick with no cure in sight.

But this all changed when he met Sole, and when Sole helped get that cure to Duncan. Birthdays changed yet again and they changed for good. Sole gave him more of a reason to fight than ever. More of a reason to look forward to birthdays because he knew how much Sole loved birthdays. Thought he wasn’t anticipating what Sole had up their sleeve. Because when they came out and placed the cake in front of him all he could do was sob uncontrollably. It was a cake shaped in the form of the wooden toy solder that Lucy had crafted all those years ago. Not only was he crying out of sadness because of how much he missed his ex lover, but also in happiness because of how happy he felt inside and how Sole made him. Instantly standing up he wrapped his arms around Sole and continued to sob while thanking them. Maybe birthdays aren’t that bad after all.

Nick:

It was Valentine’s day. And sense the name everybody counted that as Nick’s birthday. At least everyone but Nick. Sole had been planning this day for months. Working out who’s going to be there. What time the party starts and what type of music will be playing. Thankfully Sole helped Travis so he shouldn't be a problem shouting out Nick on his big day. Sole got Ellie to put Nick out on a wild goose chase while just for him to lead back to the agency. Sole, along with the other companions helped set up Valentine decorations along with specially made cake. 

After what felt like hours of going in circles around Diamond city. He made his way back to the agency. Lighting and smoking a cigarette before walking in. At first it was dark, and he called for Ellie but no response but after a few seconds the lights flashed and everyone screamed “Surprised!”. Smiling ear to ear, he thanked everyone. Afterwards he walked over to Sole who stood their with his unique cake. It was cake shaped like a heart with an arrow with a little Nick aiming his pipe revolver. Blowing out the candles. He took Sole in a loving embrace before kissing them on their forehead. What a great birthday.  

Piper: 

Piper was working on a very important piece against the Mayor. She has finally got an informant on the inside of the Institute. She finally had enough information to really expose him. She's been meeting with this suspicious person so much that Nat was starting to feel even more neglected. It got to the point that she had to contact Sole to get them to talk to Piper, but even Sole was busy. Sole explained that they had been planning this big surprise party for Piper, and that she should stay as busy as she can, so that they can get as much done. To make Nat feel better, Sole assigned her to be a top secret spy. Just to make sure Piper doesn't start to suspect anything. Sole even let Nat help pick out what the cake would be shaped like. 

After a few more weeks of preparation, everything was finally in place. Sole had Nick help set up the decorations, while Preston set up the table that the cake was going to be display. Placing the cake that was made to look like a prewar typewriter, Sole finally did the final touches. Without a beat Piper walked in not noticing anything. She was so busy that she almost walked into the cake. Without even looking up Piper pulled up a chair before sitting down and almost typing on the typewriter cake. Stopping in her tracks she finally looked up and looked around before smiling. She then turned back to her cake and let out a happy laugh. Getting up she hugged Sole and Nat and thanked them profusely. 

Preston:

The minute man had been so busy for the better half of the year trying to help fix the rest of the castle, that he had forgot his own birthday. Preston had been working to hard that day that time flew. But before he knew it, it was already dark. All of the other minute men were already headed inside and we was the last one out there. Uninterested in eating Preston, pressed on until his attention was caught by an absolutely delicious smell. Finally hear his stomach growl, Preston began to make his way over to the eating area. As thought his nose was leash, he pulled himself all the way to where the smell was coming from. Seeing everyone smiling at him before singing happy birthday. He looked around confused.

Blushing deeply he started to get nervous. Preston doesn’t really like attention like that. That’s part of the reason he didn’t become a general. Noticing Sole came walking over decorated came in hand. Looking down at the cake, Preston instantly covers his face to shield the embarrassment. The cake was built like the castle and attached with a Mirelurk queen in the middle of spitting acid and with a miniature Preston fighting alone with his signature rifle. Blowing out his candles, he thanked Sole for their hard work. And smiled at the rest of the minutemen. What a day to remember.

A bit of a side note, I am sorry if this isn’t as good as some of my other writings it’s been a while since I wrote fanfiction I just need time to get back into rhythm. 🙂. Companions react to a settler shooting Sole: (Cait,Curie, Deacon, Danse, Preston and X6)

Basic Training. Basic training was all they needed to protect themselves. And Sole and their faithful companion were going to teach them. Ever since Sanctuary got raided and Marcy almost got shot to death, there was a high demand for protection. And so that's what they did. Sole lined up a few targets and told them to fire. Once all the bottles and cans were either broken or down Sole began to line them up again. But before Sole could finish stacking and say “start” a loud bang pierced the air. Sole stood there in awe as they touched their body to reveal the now present bloodstain

Cait:

Cait had complained about teaching them because she felt they should learn on their own. But Sole refused and did it anyway. Even thought she didn't agree Cait still was there to watch the whole thing, because something in her mind said to stay and watch. After the first round of fire Cait decided enough was enough and went to go get a beer but before she could walk away there was a loud “BANG” in the air. Followed by a loud scream. Cait had turned her attention to the person holding the gun. Marcy. But before she could teach Marcy a lesson in the corner of her eye she saw Sole collapse. Without hesitation Cait rushed to their side immediately. “Hang in there I got you”. After a few minutes of her putting pressure on the wound Curie finally arrived with medical supplies to treat the wound. She got a few settlers to carry Sole into a room so they can perform surgery. But before Cait could join them Curie told her to stay out. Frustrated Cait stormed out only to got bite Marcy’s head off. It took Deacon, Danse, and Piper to stop her from killing Marcy. After a few hours of waiting Cait was finally able to see Sole. Rushing to Sole’s side Cait began to tear up. “Don’t ever scare me like that, bastard”.

Curie:

Curie was freaked out but she knew exactly what to do without hesitation she rushed over to Sole to help them to a bed. She got some medical supplies from another settler and started the procedure. Sole had been yelling due to the pain and this had cause Curie to break down a little. Eventually Sole passed out due to shock and Curie was able to focus again getting the bullet and its fragments all out within good time. After a few hours, Sole had woken up from their sleep only to thank Curie who was at their bed side the whole time. Ever since that day, Curie has never been apart from Sole for too long.

Deacon:

The railroad agent had warned Sole about training people who knew nothing about guns but Sole refused to listen. And now they were on the ground bleeding to death. As Curie rushed over to help, all Deacon could do was just stand there in shock. No jokes, no laughs, not even a sly comment. The man after many long years was finally speechless. He couldn’t believe his eyes. He shook his head in dismay before following Curie and a few settlers in a backroom of one of the houses. Before he could get a glimpse of Sole, Curie pushed him out of the room and began her operation. An hour later Sole was stable and alive which made Deacon tear up a bit. Rushing to Sole’s side Deacon put his hand on their head and chuckled. Oh Sole.

Danse:

Danse was absolutely against training Civilians, especially settlers that had no military background. He had a feeling that something could or would go down, so he kept his eyes peeled on both Sole and the settlers. Looking away from a Sole for a split second he heard the gun shot. Darting towards the firing gun then towards the loud scream a few seconds afterwards. As soon as his eyes glanced over Sole, fear immediately took over his body. Running over to Sole and helping them up, he threw a flare on the ground. Waiting for the Vertibird to arrive Danse applied pressure to the wound while conversing with Sole so they stayed conscious. Arriving a few moments later the Vertibird rushed over the Prydwen, Sole was rushed to medical bay. Sitting in the mess hall Danse waited to get the news. Only a few hours later Danse heard a knock at his door. Opening the door he instantly started lecturing a patched up Sole in front of him. But can you blame him? That's just how he shows love.

Preston:

Preston was absolutely thrilled to train the settlers, he just didn't know it would turn out like this. Preston was shaking and walking back and forth in the waiting room waiting on Curie to bring back the long awaited news. Hearing the door open and close Preston turned his eye making eye contact with a patched up Sole. He couldn't hold back anymore tears running down his face Preston ran over to Sole pulling them into his arms carefully. Crying he made Sole not to scare him like that ever again.

X6-88:

X6 thought that training the “Commonwealth Scum” was a huge waste of time and recommended not doing it but Sole did it anyway. Once he saw Sole struggling to stand he ran over to them and instantly relaying to the institute to get medical help. Once they got there Sole was immediately rushed to the Medbay. Before he could follow, one of the doctors ordered him to the Directors quarters to await further instruction. Doing as he was told, X6 sat in the quarters staring at the wall which felt like hours. His attention was snapped to the door opening and seeing Sole walking in to X6. Seeing that Sole was okay he nodded towards them and left with a slight smile on his face.

Headcanon list for Paladin Danse

C - Celebrating your/their birthday:

Celebrating his birthday is a bit of a rough thing for him. Every year it reminds him of who he really is. But you are always there to reassure him. So as of now, he is slowly celebrating his birthday more and more each year. Now celebrating your birthday is a different story. It may not seem like it but Danse is a big softie especially when it comes to your birthday. He will make you a cake even though he sucks at cooking. He will even invite all the companions and be civil with them just so you will have a great birthday. Heck just to make it extra special he will try to find two hundred something candles to put on the cake.

W - Waking up to you:

Actually waking up to Danse is a rarity especially if you are not a morning person or you don't work out as often. He will get up at 4:30 am in the morning just to work out for a few hours. The very few reasons why Danse will wake up to you is if the previous evening you guys were having sex. And he doesn’t want to let go. Or if you guys have just come back from a long mission and he wants to stay all cuddled up with you.
