What sucks is knowing a lot of my family has misophonia and having to learn to re-negotiate my mouth due to just having my wisdom teeth removed. I am HYPER aware of all my horrific mouth sounds as I try to smush banana or mashed potatoes against my palette, I'm SO sorry

What is your opinion on tadc?

I like it so far! The old-computer-videogame vibe is so interesting and the characters are really nice- the characterization is interesting and I love the designs. I have no qualms with the story- I feel like it could be a little fast development wise but overall I feel like it's set up well enough and the mystery of it is fascinating. Ragatha is my fav among the supporting characters, I want to see her developed more

I have! I watched it after I saw the first episode of TADC and subscribed to Glitch. I liked it, but I feel like it was kinda... Rushed, in places? Regardless it's a fun show

use flashpoint to play archived online flash games

find books, movies, games, etc. on the internet archive! for starters, here's a bunch of David Attenborough documentaries and all of the Animorphs books

burn your music onto cds

use pdf24 (available online or as a desktop app) instead of adobe

use unroll.me to clean your email inboxes

use thunderbird, mailfence, countermail, edison mail, tuta, or proton mail instead of gmail

remove bloatware on windows PC, macOS, and iOS X

remove bloatware on samsung X

use pixelfed instead of instagram or meta

use NCH suite for free software like a file converter, image editor, video editors, pdf editor, etc.

part of the reason I think it’s so sad that we collectively write so few stories about unrequited love is bc I feel like there’s very little public acknowledgment of how much it sucks to be the one somebody is in unrequited love with??? and not in a way of like, oh they’re crossing boundaries or putting expectations on me or whatever. becoming close friends with someone and then finding out they’re in love with you and you don’t love them back the same way is heartbreaking, bc a) someone you love is in pain and there is literally nothing you can do about it, and b) it usually means that whether you like it or not there’s going to be distance in your friendship that wasn’t there before as they try to get over you. idk man I just feel like we’ve all discussed the tragedy of loving someone who doesn’t love you back quite a lot and very rarely discuss the tragedy of finding out the way that you love someone just isn’t enough.
