Hi! I saw your pics of newcrest and theyre amazing! I was wondering how you go about emptying and just the process? I have heard of a mod that empties worlds but is it possible to only empty newcrest and leave the rest as is? Sorry if its too much to type out, just curious what all you use to achieve this. :)
hello! Thank you so much. When I first started, I used a hiding method to make objects invisible, but honestly, it got too tedious, lol. Now I use a couple of different mods:
Awingedllama's empty Newcrest and Willow Creek: Which is the method described above, but she did all the work. This one can go in your mods folder; the only downside is it makes those hidden objects unusable build objects. I believe the mod is together in single file so if you empty newcrest, you also empty Willow Creek, which I don't have a problem with because the two worlds fit together well.
which makes these two a great alternative,
Blowtorch: Is specific to a single world so you could only empty newcrest if you wished, removes any modern objects and buildings, and also includes a lighting mod. These files would go in your game files. I use this in combination with the mod above because it gets rid of the pesky lights left behind from the in-world lighting
Flamethrower: Flamethrower basically eradicates everything that is non-functional to the game. So far have only used this in San Sequoia
And finally, to place everything in world, I use CAW by Twisted Mexi, but I use it as a glorified TOOL, because placing and moving objects with grids and numbers hurts my brain, and I'd rather use WASD. CAW is still in Alpha and is behind a tester paywall, so TOOL is free and is still a great option by the same creator

Officially done with the downtown area in my save file. The downtown area includes a post office, diner, barber shop, antique store, bookstore, pizza parlor, movie theater, laundromat, record store, hardware store, minimart, a bar, local newspaper office, and a police station.
I'll be posting interior images soon

It's done guys! I finished the porch column, a lot quicker than I thought I would! Like it says in the name, this is just a very simple metal porch column, nothing fancy. I've been wanting these in my game for ages, and I searched the internet for them for a long time to no avail. So I decided to take on the challenge of creating them myself! Keep in mind this is my first ever piece of CC that I created mesh for from scratch. I ran into a few snags, but ultimately it seems to have worked out. I tested them in my game, and they work fine and look good! Please let me know if you run into any issues, and be patient with me while I try to fix them if anything is wrong lol
Information:
These are not actual columns, but objects/sculptures. So you can't use them on taller wall heights. they only work with short walls for now. (someday I'll make more variations or make them into stretchable columns)
Comes in 2 swatches: black, and white.
Feel free to use these however you want, include them with your build downloads, whatever! Just don't claim as your own or paywall them pretty pleaseee <3
