This is my first piece of fan-art based off a TV show. Throughout my career, including as Secretary of State, I have stood strongly in support of the LGBTI community, recognizing that respect for human rights must include respect for all individuals. LGBTI employees serve as proud members of the State Department and valued colleagues dedicated to the service of our country. For the past several years, the Department has pressed for the families of LGBTI officers to have the same protections overseas as families of other officers. In 2015, to further promote LGBTI rights throughout the world, I appointed the first ever Special Envoy for the Human Rights of LGBTI Persons. In the past – as far back as the 1940s, but continuing for decades – the Department of State was among many public and private employers that discriminated against employees and job applicants on the basis of perceived sexual orientation, forcing some employees to resign or refusing to hire certain applicants in the first place. These actions were wrong then, just as they would be wrong today. On behalf of the Department, I apologize to those who were impacted by the practices of the past and reaffirm the Department’s steadfast commitment to diversity and inclusion for all our employees, including members of the LGBTI community.

Hello! As the release of 2064: Read Only Memories is coming up SUPER quick (just a few days now! January 17!) we’ve gotten a LOT of questions about the release and we want to answer a few that seem to be pretty common.

-Huh?! Didn’t Read Only Memories come out already?

Sort of! The original release, Read Only Memories, came out in October 2015 for PC, Mac and Linux. This is a HUGE (and free!) update to the original game, featuring full voice acting, updated puzzles, and a whole server farm worth of updates to the script, character emotions, music, and more! Not only that, but we’re making our official CONSOLE DEBUT on the Playstation 4! Wowie! Check out our two most recent trailers, highlighting the gameplay and new voice acting:

-Wait, when did ROM get voice acting?

Ah, you a computer player? Well, just now! Surprise! But it’s only in the new version, titled 2064: Read Only Memories. If you don’t update, you won’t get the voice acting in the base version. Read below on how to do that. PlayStation 4 players, welcome to Neo-SF for the first time!

-So what’s new in 2064: Read Only Memories?

We have nearly thirty voice actors, including BAFTA-nominated folks such as Melissa Hutchinson and Adam Harrington, huge game industry VO stars including Dave Fennoy and Erin Fitzgerald, gaming professionals like Jonathan Holmes and Zoe Quinn, and internet celebrities like Austin Creed (aka WWE’s Xavier Woods), Dan Ryckert, and Jim Sterling.

Not only that, but 2064: Read Only Memories also features: new and revamped puzzles! New animations! New characters! New areas to explore in the post-game “Endless Christmas” epilogue! Even more Hassy!!

There’s even an updated soundtrack and artbook for the deluxe version! Wow!

-UH… I already own Read Only Memories! What does this mean for me?

FIRST OF ALL - we just want to say THANK YOU for being there from the beginning!

If you purchased ROM through Steam, your copy will change automatically. You’ll know it’s ready for you when you see the name change to 2064: Read Only Memories. Just update and you’re good to go!

If you purchased it through Itch.io, Humble or GOG, you’ll need to login to your account and download 2064: Read Only Memories. We will be replacing the old store files, so you will just need to login and redownload! It’s EZ.

-I want to keep my original copy/save file for Read Only Memories but also get 2064: Read Only Memories. What do I do?

We’ll be keeping the original Read Only Memories accessible on Steam via a beta branch. To play, all you have to do is right-click the title in your library, click “Properties,” go to the “BETAS” tab, then dropdown click on “Read Only Memories.” We’ll also be keeping the Read Only Memories version available on Itch, GOG, and Humble! Keep in mind that old ROM save files are incompatible with 2064.

-You said you were bringing 2064 to the Playstation Vita/Xbox One/iOS/Android! What the hecky!

We’re still working hard on all of those ports, we promise! We are working first on Xbox One, which we believe we’ll have done shortly, and then moving on to Playstation Vita, iOS and Android. We know many of you are really looking forward to playing 2064: Read Only Memories on the go and now that the game is TOTALLY content complete, we can really just focus on porting. Cool!

-I don’t live in America! What about Europe?

Don’t worry! You’ll be able to get 2064: Read Only Memories on January 17th just like your friends in the U.S.
