This is what Otto was originally going to look like. I drew this at the beginning of this year, and looking back, I'm glad I changed his design. He was also going to be called a "liquid", but I thought calling him a slime would be more fitting. I really think my art has improved a little over time, which is crazy because I thought it would never improve.

Margie is a 16 year old Octoling from the Splatlands with a bold, outgoing personality. When Margie was turned into a slime monster by a contaminated drink, her social life took a devastating blow. Her friends were too frightened to hang out with her. Her boyfriend dumped her. Her parents were disgusted by her and sent her to live with her aunt. Margie became an outcast, but she eventually found friendship in two other slime monsters who were both going through a similar situation.

Otto is a monster, after all. Apparently he even frightens himself sometimes. This is the song I was playing on loop while drawing this, because I can imagine him in a creepy carnival showing off his slimy abilities... maybe I'll draw that one day.

Meet Zomi. Zomi is a 17 year old Splatlandian Inkling whose friends say he's like the older brother they never had. After trying a drink unknowingly contaminated with hagfish slime, Zomi became a slime monster! Laid back and optimistic, he tries to look at the bright side of his predicament.
