The Boys Season 3 Finale Review
Tumblr media
To say that this season of The Boys was a well thought out and executed 8 episode journey of humor, disgust, and so much more would be a huge understatement. This season took The Boys to the next level, and one that we didn’t know we needed.
The finale of the season gave each character a moment, whether it left them in a good or bad state by the end of the episode.
To start off, the moment that Homelander shared with Noir when he revealed to him that he knew all along that Soldier Boy was his father was very heartbreaking, since Homelander has to kill him afterwards for being lied to his entire life by someone he thought he could trust.
It was very sad to see Noir exit the show instantaneously after we just learned a little more about him in the last episode, and we should have at least got a rematch between him and Soldier Boy first, after we saw in the last episode the beef they had with each other.
Speaking of Solider Boy, in this episode he proved to be an overpowered, unstoppable tank of a supe, as he was just bodying everyone that stood in his way, especially Butcher.
Butcher vs Soldier Boy was very intense, as Soldier Boy could not care less about if he kills Ryan or not, and him wondering why he changed his mind after all this time.
Tumblr media
This was just one of the few crazy moments that happened to Butcher in the episode, between him finding out that all the Temp-V he had been injecting up until this point is killing him, and he only has a few months left to live. As well as him being unable to keep his promise to Becca by the end of the episode.
How Butcher protected Hughie from taking more Temp-V, and how it played out through the entire episode was just as Hughie described it “the shittiest way you could have saved me”. Seeing Butcher care about Hughie that way after having their relationship very up and down after all this time throughout the series was very heartwarming.
By the end however, when Hughie sees that his friends are in trouble while fighting Soldier Boy, he ponders whether or not he should inject the V to save them. He ultimately decides to give Starlight a crazy power boost by enhancing the lights in the studio, and that was the more heroic decision Hughie could have made than ever taking the V.
With M.M., Frenchie, and Kimiko having the vapor that could knock out Solider Boy (I forgot the name of the vapor), it would give them an opportunity to strike since they all want revenge on Soldier Boy at this point, exclusively M.M.
I also loved the way Kimiko was able to welcome back her powers in a fun way with that hilarious action/dance sequence when her and Frenchie went into the lab of Vought, and just started killing all the guards that stood in her path.
Homelander vs Queen Maeve was just amazing, as we finally get to see Maeves hatred for Homelander on full display. Sure Maeve lost an eye in the process, but her “sacrifice” made it to be so real that she believes her and her girlfriend can finally escape Homelander once and for all and live happily ever after together.
Tumblr media
With Ryan finally choosing the side of his father Homelander, Butcher failed to keep his promise to his late wife Becca, as now; the more Ryan is under the influence of and hanging out around Homelander, the more he will start to act like him, and desensitize himself to the humans that care about him, just like Homelander.
The ending with it being announced that Victora Newman is running for Vice President after The Deep was instructed by Homelander to kill the current candidate was surprising, and puts The Boys in trouble, since she can explode heads, and will most likely do that to the president to take his position and be unstoppable.
Tumblr media
I loved the ending to season 3, and the season in general. It started off with a different tone that still worked for the show thanks to the characters, but of course it had to take a drastic turn back to its true form with Hughie getting covered by someone else’s blood in episode 2.
I am looking forward to season 4 very mpatiently, and with a lot of anticipation of what is to come next.

Why Marvel Studios CGI has been "off" lately
Tumblr media
Ever since Marvel Studios signed with Disney Plus to create 6 episode series corrolated to their vast wider universe, things have not been the same.
Think about it this way. 5 years ago, when you would think of Marvel Studios movies, you would think of the characters, the fight sequences, and maybe even the astonishing visual effects that you could always count Marvel on for pulling off.
Ever since they signed with Disney Plus to create shows, the CGI for their projects haven't been reciprocating with us fans as it used to.
You could honestly blame the inclusion of the overly substantial amount of shows they strive to release in a year for the CGI taking a huge hit, and you'd be right.
Just yesterday we actually recieved some details from a VFX company regarding the status of their employees with their affiliation to Marvel Studios, and why the CGI for Marvel got worse.
There have been complaints from numerous VFX artists that work for Marvel speaking about the current states that they are in.
Sleep deprivation, poor eating habits, as well exhaustion, are just a few symptoms of working for the plague that is Marvel.
According to a former VFX artist that worked for Marvel, Dhruv Govil says that "Working on #Marvel shows is what pushed me to leave the VFX industry. They're a horrible client, and I've seen way too many colleagues break down after being overworked, while Marvel tightens the purse strings."
It is awful to hear that Marvel is not providing a cordial and secure work environment for these artists, especially when so many of them liked their job at one point.
The biggest problem with Marvel now is their quantity > quality. Think about all the Marvel projects we recieved in the past year, as well as the projects we are set to recieve in the coming months, I genuinely feel bad for the people that are to be delegated to work on all of them.
Marvel is going at a very fast pace with their projects, not giving the VFX artists time to focus on one project at a time with diligence.
Remember when we would at most get 3 Marvel movies a year about 8 years ago? I'm not saying Marvel needs to stretch out all their projects so far apart from each other, but they should be considerate enough to make a decision that benefits their company, VFX, and the fans.

Ranking every live action CW's "The Flash" suits
As nearly as it has been a decade has struck since The Flash has sped its way onto our screens, our favorite scarlett speedster has dawned quite a handful of suits that have been retired, destroyed, or upgraded, as a means to make The Flash look better and cooler.
I want to rank every suit that The Flash had worn on the show from worst to best.
Tumblr media
Season 5 suit
So it is no surprise to anyone that watches the show that the season 5 Flash suit, or as I like to refer to it, "the bicycle helmet catastrophe", was not our most liked Flash suit, but definitely one of our most hated.
This is the first Flash suit that isolates itself from its predecessors, as the material changes from leather, to a snug seeming suit of spandex.
The cowl of the suit was the biggest complaint by many, as it strikingly resembles that of a bicycle helmet, which while is hilarious, is just sad and laughable for the hero.
The suit also looks very bland and lifeless. It is literally just a red spandex suit, with The Flash emblem stuck in the middle of the chest.
I would have to give the suit a 4/10.
Tumblr media
2. Season 1.0 suit
The second suit Barry wears in the pilot of The Flash, or as I like to call it the 1.0 suit.
It is the first time we see The Flash in his very first super suit, with a leather composition, dark red/burgundy coloring, and a red Flash emblem in the middle of the chest.
This suit was later modified in the middle of the first season, but for now we are focusing on the original version of this suit.
This suit didn't really work for me, as the head seemed very fitted and fixed, with making it shape Barrys head like an egg when he worse it.
There were definitely better Flash suits worn later on as the seasons progressed in the show.
I would have to give this suit a 6/10
Tumblr media
3. Season 1.1 suit
We already spoke about the suit upgrade in with this suit, so I want to keep it brief.
Everything with the suit is kept identical and shaped to that of the 1.0 version of the suit, except the head, which is my favorite and only aspect of it.
This head shape is the first instance of what we see on The Flash suit for seasons to come. It looks very breathable and formfitting on The Flash, and actually fits onto his actual head normally.
I would have to give this suit a 8/10
Tumblr media
4. Seasons 2/3 suit
In season 2, we technically recieved a new Flash suit, as it got an upgrade to its iconic Flash emblem in the middle from red to white.
Other than that, it is pretty much the exact same to the season 1 suit, only with a change to the emblem in the middle.
I prefer it more than the season 1 suit because the emblem resembles the iconic accurate comic book look of The Flash.
I would have to give this suit a 9/10
Tumblr media
5. Season 6/7 suit
When season 6 began, fans were hoping for a new Flash suit after season 5's hilarious bicycle helmet.
Lucky for us, our prayers were answered.
The Flash season 6 suit was fresh and new to that of its predecessors, made with a new material, a brighter red, new wings on the comms, and a normal cowl this time around for his head.
We also got additional gold telematry lining around it in order for Barry to survive a black hole, which was awesome.
I would have to give this suit a 9.5/10
Tumblr media
6. Season 8 suit
The season 8 suit is basically the season 6 and 7 suit, only this time we got an accessory added to it that we have been waiting for so long.
That would be the addition of the iconic golden boots.
Initially used to stop Desperos eternal flame from wreacking havoc onto the city, we see Barry running with them in beautiful fashion, and that was the completion for The Flash suit after all these years.
I would have to give this suit a 10/10
Tumblr media
7. Season 4 suit
You already figured it was coming at this number one spot.
The Flash season 4 suit is the best Flash suit we have ever got on the show.
It was the first time we had ever got a completely new suit on the show for Barry, and it is absolutely stunning.
When I see this suit, I see how badass The Flash is in it, because this suit makes him look part of a biker gang with the leathery composition and style.
The colors are more vibrant, and the gold sticks out much more in regions of the suit.
It's a shame how it only lasted one season.
I would have to give this suit an 11/10
Comment down below your thoughts and rankings of suits we have recieved on The Flash.

What can we expect from The Flash season 9?
Tumblr media
With The Flash season 8 having wrapped up a couple of weeks ago, and it has been confirmed that the people behind the show are taking a lengthy break from starting up the storylines and writing for the upcoming season 9, from what has went down and the details in this previous season is what I want to discuss of how it can play out into next season.
Tumblr media
Villians
For those that have been remaining fans of The Flash after season 6, are well aware of the new leadership that The Flash fell under, when current showrunner Eric Wallace took over as showrunner.
Wallace’s format of the seasons following have been broken up storylines in a each season, ranging between 2 and 3 per season, in which he calls “graphic novels”.
During the end of season 8, we were taken to a lab of an unknown scientist in the distant year of 2049.
In the lab, we saw a blue crystal that began glowing more bright, and fans began to raise questions about if this is a tease to a long awaited villian we have been wanting on the show, Cobalt Blue.
This might be confirmed for season 9, as we are to get 3 graphic novels in the upcoming season, and Rick Cosnett (Eddie Thawne), expressed his interest in returning in season 9, with fans pestering for him to play the villian Cobalt Blue.
As for the remaining 2 villians that are set to be appear, their identities remain unknown.
Tumblr media
2. Suits
With The Flash’s suit on the show being complete perfection, as now with the new addition of the golden boots we got this past season, I wouldn’t be expecting any new Flash suits for him.
I would love for Barry to dawn one of his old suits, such as season 1 and season 4’s suits.
As for the other heroes, now with Allegra and Cecile becoming more relevant to the show as heroes on the battlefield, I would expect for there to be new suits for them as curtesy of Chester, or even Cisco maybe.
Tumblr media
3. New characters
New characters for an upcoming season are always common for The Flash, and we got a big one to be introducd at the end of season 8.
With Caitlins and Marks attempts to bring back Frost from the dead, we seemingly got introduced to a new fusion of Caitlin and Frost without actually seeing who it was.
Other new characters would have to be the upcoming villians we will be getting in the show, and I am very excited to see who it will be.
Tumblr media
4. Other storylines
With Jesse L. Martin’s character Joe West leaving the show but only as a series regular, that leaves us without about 6 main characters left in the show (Barry, Iris, Caitlin, Allegra, Cecile, and Chester).
With the story of Team Flash facing the villians all together remaining the same, I am actually wondering about seperate storylines we will see in the season.
Barry and Iris will most likely become more intimte with each other, and subsequently have Iris get pregnant so we can see little Bart and Nora Allen running around.
Allegra and Chester will most probably finally get together, as the show has been awkwardly forcing them to throughout the entire last season (no one really cares about if those 2 get together, or at least that’s my opinion).
Allegra and Cecile will learn how to be better heroes on the battlefield, now that they are appearing more frequently on it alongside Barry.
Caitlin will definitely have a storyline with this new Caitlin/Frost fusion that she “accidentally” created.
The Flash season 9 doesn't arrive onto our screens until the next new year, so until then keep theorizing on what you think can and will happen.

The Flash Season 8 Finale Breakdown & Review
Tumblr media
To say that the CW’s “hit” show The Flash has an audience hanging on by a thread at this point is nothing short of the truth.
I have loved this show wholefully ever since its 3rd season debuting over 5 years ago. So I am not saying I suddenly switched up with my thoughts on it from amazing to utter garbage, but I am also not saying that going in that direction wouldn’t be inaccurate.
Look, The Flash is a good show with good characters and stories, but lately is has been very bland and dim under the light that it once shined upon.
With the season 8 finale having released a week ago, here are my thoughts on if the conclusion to this 20 episode season did it justice.
This season finale was very intense from surprises and moments that I was not expecting.
So of course the main villian was our favorite evil speedster Eobard Thawne, also known as the Reverse Flash. Only this time he was not alone, as he was accompanied by some new friends of his, the negative forces.
The Negative Forces have the same vendetta as Thawne does, and that is to kill Barry Allen. The negative forces help Thawne fulfill is goal, as is theirs to kill Barry, by drawing all their power into Thawne, dawning a black new suit, with the powers of all 4 forces (speed, strength, time, and sage).
Meanwhile in the lives of the good guys, Barry also has killing on his mind, due to Thawne killing Iris so he can be reborn again for like the 6th time throughout the show.
Cecile of course becomes annoying with eavesdropping on Barry emotions by telling him that he shouldn’t let his rage get the better of him, and that the rest of team Flash believes that Iris is alive.
Iris is in fact alive, hiding away in the time stone after the time particles were transferred back into Thawne in the previous episode. While trapped in the time stone, Iris meets an old friend, that in Damien Dahrk.
Dahrk explains to Iris that she is not trapped in the stone, and can easily escape it if she tethers herself to the little spark of lightning that her and Barry have that signifies their universal love for each other.
After all the side plots of the episodes, we go back to Thawne terrorizing the city in his black suit. Barry, Bart, Nora, and Meena, all run in to save the day, as at this point they are all feeling vengeful against Thawne for his reprehensible acts.
After Thawne gets the chance to solo Barry in a one on one, the battle is on, but not until the positive forces are revived back to life thanks to Ceciles pyschic powers to tap into the forces to bring them back.
The positive forces find it only fair that Barry and Thawne fight match and match, as they give Barry their powers to compare with Thawne. Now, the battle begins.
Racing through the city, and now with their wide array of powers, they throw lightning, drop planes, teleport all over the place, causing another Armageddon in the city.
Upon Iris returning back home, she requests Jay Garrick to take her to Barry to stop him from causing all thisndestrcution in the city.
Barry realizes that they shouldn’t tip the scales of universal balance to stop one another, and sits own to meditate to defeat Thawne like the goat he is.
Thawne does not care and begins to unleash a wave of negative speed force lightning all over the city, destroying everything and everyone. Barry’s meditation works more effectively, and seemingly reverses time and implodes Thawnes power on himself, finally killing him for good.
The day is saved once again, but more mysteries are to be solved, as we are taken into a lab showing an interesting blue crystal being stabilized on a desk, now leaving many theories open on the table.
Overall, I underwhelmingly enjoyed this season finale. It defintely wrapped up the season nicely with all its stories, but I would have to give it a 7 out of 10 because of the poor writing, and Cecile just existing.
Once again, I liked it, but excluding the parts with Cecile because she is an annoyance as much as she is psychic now (and she is very psychic now).
Thawne finally dying after all these years gives the show such a new creative direction, because they don’t have to keep using Thawne as its backbone anymore. They can finally move on to different things, new things.
I am interested to see how season 9 will play out in the first few episodes, as I would assume they would follow the events of season 8, and jump directly into the new storyline they have planned.

What can we expect from Thor 5?
Tumblr media
After the release of the long awaited Thor: Love and Thunder, fans; including myself, are left scratching our heads as to what can we expect from the unannounced sequel, Thor 5?
When we will get a release date for Thor 5, and other details alluding to the unannounced movie.
Stick around to have your questions answered.
For starters, now that the dust has finally settled for "Love and Thunder", I doubt that we will get any details about what's next to come for the space viking Thor for his next adventure in the next couple of months.
Marvel will most probably take their time with the planning process, as we are now notified that they have a plethora of new characters they plan to introduce to their vast world. Since they just got to finally release Thor 4 after its delay for a year, I think they need to take a breath, with Thor for now.
If I had to assume based on prior release schedules however; as to when they would most likely release Thor 5, I would have to assume sometime in 2025, and we would start getting details on it (title, villian, & other stuff) a year prior to its release.
Now that we have settled the when will it happen, let's talk about the what will happen?
We first have to assume that Thor 5 would probably be Chris Hemsworth's last Marvel movie, as he is the longest running MCU character as of right now of 11 years, so this would surely have to be his last movie.
If it is the last movie, they would have to go out with a bang for the character.
With the events from Thor 4, we can compile some information and theories on what will most likely occur in the movie.
***Spoiler Warning***
Now that Thor involuntarily became Gorr's daughters adoptive father, we can expect the next movie to be a movie them fighting side by side together, if that's what Marvel would go for in terms of character development for Thor.
We could see Thor rise to the challenge of being a good father to his daughter, and what better way to see that happen than teaching her how to be a hero just like her father? We still get an action packed Thor centered movie.
In the first post credit scene, we now know that Hercules has been introduced, and has a personal vendetta against Thor, as he is instructed by his father Zeus to hunt him down and kill him for nearly killing him, as well as trivializing the term of gods.
We can expect there to definitely be a rivarly between the god of thunder, and the god of strength.
And if this is Thors last movie, then we can probably expect him to retire the axe, and go spend time with his daughter.
I am very excited to see the trajectory Marvel takes Thor in for his 5th movie, since they set up so much in "Love and Thunder".
Comment down below your theories as to what you predict might happen?

Thor “Love and Thunder” Spoiler Free Review
As promised, I saw my scheduled viewing of the new Thor “Love and Thunder” movie earlier today, and I have been able to give my honest opinions about it, in a spoiler free way.
To start off, I just want to say I thoroughly loved this movie. I am not lying when I say that no other Marvel movie has ever made me laugh and entertained more than Thor “Love and Thunder” had.
But that was also a problem for me towards this movie, and it is the first one I had in the beginning stages of it.
This movie did make me laugh; yes, but the movie took responsibility of being unable to watch it with a serious attitude towards it. A movie should always be entertaining, but it should not be very consistent with the way it structures the film to the point where I can’t take any serious moments serious.
There were quite a few serious moments, but thanks to the constant usage of jokes; I could not express sympathy towards certain characters the way that the moment portrayed itself for me to.
The movie felt more like a comedy rather than a studious Marvel movie.
The characters were all fine, and action wise; I think they all stood out amazingly, especially Thor. If you had already watched the movie then you can recall that epic opening scene with Thor and the Guardians. Truly epic.
The way Jane and Thor’s relationship courses out through the movie is adorable and makes me cry over the fact that I can’t share what they have with a significant other. Their chemistry, while starting off as awkward and comical, pays off in a cute and endearing way.
Gorr the God Butcher was a great villian, despite the limited screen time we had him on for. Regardless of that however, his scenes were all very “sympathetic”. Everytime you saw Gorr on the screen you can understand why he is doing what he is, as it is included in the films opening moments to give us a who, what, and why of Gorr.
There was a point where I wanted him to succeed with his antics, because he was such a badass villian to only be a one and done character. It was nice to see Christian Bale come back and deliver his infamous performances that he is always able to do when he is shown on screen.
Thor within this movie left me mixed by the end of it, because judging from what I saw, I felt his character was handled much better in “Ragnarok”.
Let’s be honest (for those who have seen “Love and Thunder”), Thor was able to balance out his comedic personality and his serious personality much better in Ragnarok. Meanwhile In “Love and Thunder” Thor seems to be funny 90% of the time, and only serious 10% of the time, and even in those serious moments he was still being funny.
Regardless, I feel like Thor definitely had some character growth by the end of this movie, and his story is only going to get so much crazier from here.
This movie also set up the third and final Guardians of The Galaxy movie very well, as they and Thor split up on the same, yet different missions.
To sum up my thoughts, once again I love this movie, and it is the second best out of the now Thor “tetralogy”, falling behind Ragnarok for understandable reasons.
Thor “Love and Thunder” is to be described as how Thor says his life is, “Another classic Thor adventure!”

Top 3 Best Marvel Movies (My Opinion)
Ever since the year 2008, Marvel has been able to deliver us some very memorable movies, some of which are the reason why we are fidelious to the franchise to this day.
Whether you like a specific Mavrel movie, or all of the Marvel movies, you still have a favorite within the long list of movies they released, and either way you are a fan.
1) Ironman 1
While Ironman 1 was the very first Marvel Studios movie that the franchise released, I am not including it on this list for the reason that it kicked off such a majestic and magical universe that is still running to this day.
I am including Ironman 1 on this list for the reason that I am including all the other movies on this list, because I genuinely and thoroughly enjoyed it more than other.
Tony Starks origin story was funny, emotional, and had a lot of heart involved in it on his path to becoming a better man by the end of the movie. The way he becomes more humanitarian for the likes of others over time as he gradually pieced together that his own company was manufacturing weapons for terrorists aided to his character in such a strong and powerful way.
Becoming Ironman to do good, and right his wrongs shows a strong level of maturity, a level that will never be forgotten.
Obadiah Stane as a villian was also a very good choice, as Tony has to face off against his longtime business partner whom he eventually kills during the final fight.
Who could forget that iconic suit up scene, the one that you could feel the anger coming off Tony, the face he made that looked like he was about to kick some ass, even after the Ironman helmet closes over his face.
Ironman 1 is a great movie, a great introduction to Tony Stark, and a great kickoff to the MCU.
2) Avengers
The first Avengers movie was the climax for Marvels first phase, and it was a great payoff after many years of world building, and character introduction.
Seeing the shot with the OG Avengers all circled up together about to destroy New York just to kill some aliens was nostalgic, and beautiful enough where I hope no other moment in the future ever tops that one.
The Avengers having to team up to work together to defeat other worldly foes at the might of Thor’s brother Loki was a great way for them to settle their differences (especially Tony and Steve), and beat the bad guy and call it today.
This movie was also the first debut of the Mad Titan Thanos, as he becomes aware of the Avengers existence, understanding that they could be potential threats to him if he wants to succeed with his plans in future films.
3) Captain America: Civil War
The 3rd Captain America movie has been debated by many fans with its predecessor “Winter Solider” with which movie out of the 2 is the better one.
Personally, I believe that title goes to Civil War, because this movie is on the cusp of being more of an Avengers movie, rather than a basic Captain America film, as well as more memorable scenes and moments we got from it (Spidermans entrance, Airport fight scene, Captain America vs Ironman).
The way the Avengers are divided amongst each other because of the difference of opinion about signing over to the Sokovia Accords was such a great way to show that the Avengers aren’t on top of the law. Sometimes they need to be babysat to commit less harm than good.
The main villian; Baron Zemo’s motivation to take down the Avengers by having them do it themselves from the inside was such a thrilling master plan to watch, and was responsible for one of the coolest fights MCU has ever given us, Cap vs Ironman.
The ending, while bittersweet, showed both sides of the Avengers going their own ways, and left us as fans curious as to when they would meet again, or if they would meet again.
Marvel had not been able to top, and recreate the magic that they were able to pull off a long time ago so effortlessly in previous movies. One day I hope they can get back on track and I can make an updated list, this time with more new and fresh movies that they will release.
