Hey I know this isn’t critical role related but at my high school they’re firing our stagecraft teacher.Anyone who has ever done theatre knows the necessity of techies for a production.Please sign our petition to have Mr.Cromer’s contract renewed as he is one of the most important people in our theatre department and has kept us afloat.

Just finished being on the set of a student short film called “Post Worthy” with a crew of film students from Towson University. I played the part of Kate 🙂 And for: 1) This was a ton of fun to do and everyone was awesome to work with on set! 2) I had a speaking role! (BONUS: I went to a legit American college bar for the first time 😆 lol (I know I was born in be US but that just goes to show how much of a nerd I am 😂) I’m so glad that the director reached out to me in regards of me joining the project though! So thank you to the director and thank you to everyone else for having me in their company on set 😊 I mean I’m still learning and back into the flow of everything pertaining this industry again, but just stick to my goals and pray I’ll be able to do the objectives I feel I need to do 😄👍 Yup! (PS! Dad was right 😬 I wouldn’t want to eat the prop food on the table either. They would spray glycerin on the fruit to make it look shiny and did something like brush on soy sauce on the croissants to make it look like it was toasted 😅 hehe Part of the movie magic though 😄)

From one generation to the next. From father to daughter. From mentor to student. My dad handed down his SAG jacket onto me. My dad is a professional singer now, but he became a SAG member in the late 80s. Not only has my dad taught me about life and people, but he taught me almost everything I know from acting, to fighting (taekwondo and self-defense), and music. Love him, love him ☺️ (PS Also, Happy Resurrection Day everyone 😊)

So over the weekend I was able to observe a class taught by @tomtodoroff. The philosophy and mechanics of acting that Tom taught in the 2-day workshop was very insightful. And the information was very invaluable as well. I had a lot of fun going to this and it was all because of someone I met and made friends with on the set on a Hulu series gig I had back in February (the one where I mentioned “If you know what show I’m on please don’t say the name in the comments”). And pretty much: most of the things my dad taught me about how to be a better actor is what Tom taught in this class (and him making us take down and write out notes made everything all that much better). But as soon as he said, “My job is to change the molecules in the room”, I just knew something good was going to happen. It was a very beautiful way to, not only change my perspective, but to reawaken what I thought I didn’t have in me. It took me awhile to come around but with what I found out yesterday and this morning although one person closes a door to you another one opens up. So I’m not afraid of what outcome may come to pass in the future. I’ll just hold up my heart and beliefs and faith because God always has His plans...even if it seems like it’s the impossible (PS! The last picture was when the 3 of us were in front of Tom performing as I sang with someone playing the ukulele to the Hukilau while someone danced to it 😊)

Very busy day on Sunday! (My gosh 😅) And everything went down at Tyson’s Corner Center @shoptysons ...Met up with a photographer at @lepainquotidienusa in mid-afternoon and had a powwow about a photoshoot we plan on having. Then in the evening I went to @loveloft_tysons for a networking event for bloggers/influencers and met with @karaprime while we were waiting to go inside the store...And there’s been other things that’s been going and that I’ve been doing and planning on the side, but other than that those are the major events that went on...But thank you #LOFTtysons #LoveLOFT #DCbloggerMeetup for the event! It was very enjoyable 😊

I’m so sorry I haven’t been posting much! But I’ve been absolutely busy and have been going through my own stuff as well. It all started on Monday where I met with a local music producer. Tuesday was an open night (and crashed on the bed as soon as I got home). Wednesday I went to a fashion show/networking event. Thursday I did a web commercial gig I got booked for. Friday was another open night (and spent time writing some of the compositions I have). And today, Saturday, I just finished a writing session with the music producer I met on Monday and I have to apply for another audition where I’m reading some sides. Tomorrow, Sunday, I’m going to meet with a local photographer and go to another networking event.........so if you have been messaging me. I see you! I’m not ignoring you. It’s just that my messages are backing up because I’m getting in touch with a lot more people these days. Thank you so much for understanding! 💙

There has definitely been a turn of events in the past 2 weeks. It started last Sunday when I went to a music rehearsal the talent manager I was talking about before wanted me to join in. I collaborated with a couple of other rappers and did vocals while adding lyrics I wrote as well. So far, it’s going good. On the other hand, with my acting, I was called in and attended a couple of auditions so far and I’m still applying to a few more currently...All I have to say is that, although I’m not perfect, and made some mistakes, all I have to look forward to is bettering myself. That’s the best anyone can do if they hope to keep moving forward...

On 03/01/2019 I was a guest on a podcast called @circleofnerds ! You should seriously check them out! It was fun and energetic and basically I was on a radio show. They had all the bells and whistles for the special sound effects, background music and everything that you’ll never find a dull moment with them. Plus the hosts of the podcast were really funny and cool to chat with. I was really happy to be on there. Now, as far as other life updates, yesterday on 03/04 I met up with a local talent manager and we met at the Hyatt lobby and discussed the rest of our meeting in Panera Bread inside of the hotel. But...pretty much what we talked about? I told him my whole life story. I showed him I can sing, dance, act, treatment write (for reality/documentary shows), do screenwriting, create music, model, cosplay, and influence - basically telling him, like my own father, I have experience. Now, of course I didn’t sign anything yet, but the manager now wants to work with me and see where it goes when it comes to working together. And today I have an audition later for another paying acting gig - so hopefully I’ll get the part. But we’ll never know unless I try.
