Simple ways to help the planet
1. Turn off a light when you leave a room! 💡
2. Turn off the tap when you are brushing your teeth! 🚰
3. Turn down the heat and put on a sweater instead!
4. Turn the washing machine on cold and hang up your clothes instead of using a dryer
5. Pick up one peice of litter everyday!
6. Plant some flowers 🌸🐝
7. Bars of soap instead of bottles!
8. Walk, bike, carpool or use public transit whenever you can!
9. Donate or fix old clothes instead of throwing them away
10. Get informed about climate change and spreed your knowledge!
There is no excuse to at least be doing one of these everyday! Little changes matter!

Eco-friendly tips ☀️
- Balcony gardens! Grow flowers, fruit, veggies, herbs
- Use dishcloths instead of paper towel
- Mini Compost bin
- Buy loose leaf tea (some tea bags are made with plastic) so they aren’t compostable
- Request all your bills get sent over email in order to save paper
- Sell or donate unwanted items instead of throwing it out!
- Shorter showers!
- Shampoo bars and soap bars instead of bottled products
- Look up if your city/town has any place to buy zero waste products
- Lemon, baking Soda and white vinegar instead of chemical cleaners

I know that large corporations are responsible for the vast majority of climate change however, there are small changes we can all make in our daily lives in order to help protect our planet. Here are a list of things that you can start incorporating into your everyday life. Feel free to add more if I missed anything!
1. Turn off the lights after you leave a room!
2. Use the cold water setting on the washing machine
3. Compost kitchen scraps instead of throwing them in the trash!
4. Walk/bike/carpool or use public transit instead of driving everywhere
5. Recycle!
6. Use white vinegar mixed with water instead of harsh cleaning products
7. Turn off the tap when brushing your teeth
8. Use the water you steam vegetables with to water your plants
9. Shorter showers
10. Donate to + support Indigenous land and water protectors
11. Buy second hand clothes + furniture
12. Plant a garden
13. Plant some house plants
14. Cut the strings on your mask before throwing it away
15. Get a reusable mask
16. Use a reusable water bottle
17. Buy lose leaf tea instead of tea bags
18. Use a reusable grocery bag
19. Regrow kitchen scraps like lettuce and green onions in a cup of water
20. Eat less meat + dairy (if possible + accessible to you)
21. Recycle your soft plastics! Chip bags, bread bags etc
22. Hang dry your clothes instead of using the dryer
23. Buy from local fruit and vegetables stands!
24. Buy products in class containers/ jars instead of plastic ones
25. Plans meals out, so you can avoid access food waste

what i REALLY want to do is knit my friends chunky wool sweaters in ugly patterns and send them jars of homemade jam and lavender honey and sugar-crusted shortbread wrapped in brown paper tied up with knotted twine and handwrite them letters on thick yellowish paper infused with dried wildflowers i picked and pressed myself but nooooo i have to “study” and “work” so that i can earn ‘‘‘money’’’ and pay ‘‘‘bills’’’. fuck all life.

While I understand the leading cause of climate change is big Corporations and there’s little we can do to stop them, there is still small changes we can all make!
- turn off the lights when you leave a room
-change to energy efficient lightbulbs
- wash your clothes in cold water
- recycle + reuse everything you can
- eat less meat + dairy products
- compost
- donate or sell things you no longer need of use
- shorter showers
- houseplants + garden
- clean with white vinegar mixed with water
- use dish clothes instead of sponges and paper towels
- buy a reusable water bottle + coffee mug
- walk, bike or take the bus more
- turn down the thermostat
-pay bills online
- put a “no trash mail” sign on your mailbox
- reusable grocery and produce bags
- take Tupperware when you go to restaurants for leftovers
- reusable makeup remover pads
- buy online tickets
- use ocean safe sunscreen
- fix it, don’t throw it away
