I disagree with this take fundamentally and I go over some of my reasons in the comment section- however, credit where it’s due the Art is EXCEPTIONAL and I really do admire your willingness to at least engage with disagreements.
In short… this is a classy person here

I was hoping MHA Vigilantes Episode 5 and 6 would address the inconsistency with the writing of Stain (I refuse to call him Stendhal unless it's for tagging purposes, it's not a name he would pick for himself it's the name of the author of the book "The Red and the Black" which doesn't contain any themes relevant to the character). Stendhal is the result of Mr. Furuhashi taking a puzzle piece from someone elses puzzle, and instead of crafting his own puzzle around it so that it fits, he tried to force the piece into his own narrative. It didn't do the story any good. The fight would have been way more high stakes and meaningful if Furuhashi had his main characters interrupt Stain while he's attacking a hero, maybe his first target. Knuckleduster could have still been the cause of his lack of nose, but don't try to sell me the idea that Stain's ideology and conviction that brought people to their knees in fear, resulted from a silly inconsequential duel with Knuckleduster. I love the design and the work of the animation team, but the writing in Volume 2 of Vigilantes did not do Stain justice.

There’s A Lot Of Things I Don’t Like About Vigilantes… But I Do Like That It Will Vindicate My Opinions On Stain.
Both with the introduction of Tensei as the absolute BRO that he is, and with a twist that will be coming up pretty soon.
Stain is one of my most hated characters EVER so I’ll be very glad to see my hate filled soul become a more mainstream opinion.

‘Cool’ comics writers be like:
‘What if Superman’s powers are actually draining the sun and brining it substantially closer to dying out meaning this hero is accidentally causing an extinction event?’
Me:
No…? Why are comics always looking for more ways to be edgy shit?

When I was in my teens, I used to make an entire magic system with 360+ unique spells, ordered in magic schools and categories, and it boggles my mind that I basically reinvented DnD mechanics, even down to metamagic.
I wanted to make a wiki about it but I don't have time for it.

The point was to try to encompass every "superpower" I could think of into a magic system.
I even got lore related to it all, I'm pretty sure I'm gonna simply reuse it all for OC worldbuilding. Ngl the fun part was naming all the spells, symbols and coming up with the logic of it all.

There’s A Trend In Fanfiction To Make Characters ‘The Gamer’ Invincible Is One Of The Few Stories I Think This REALLY Fits.
Mark Grayson… needs all the help he can get, and there’s a wide enough power range in Invincible that a Gamer wouldn’t scale beyond the point where they could be challenged for a good long time.
I can imagine the Gamer System being the product of a magically adept species that the Viltrumites genocided that they created and enchanted to seek out the person most likely to be able to stop the Empire.
Frankly… I’d just use it as a tool to make fights more complex than repeated punching through the addition of skills, while also making certain fights (Omni Man V. Invincible) slightly more balanced.
I was also considering using the Party System for things like power leveling the Guardians of the Globe (and Giving Immortal his much deserved W’s)
Any thoughts?

My sister and I are working on a fantasy story together here’s one of the basic elements I wrote out because I find it cool.
HOLY MANA
And EVIL MANA
These two power sources give strength to the Church and the Demon Races respectively and are critical to understanding the power dynamics between those two forces.
Both are generated in functionally identical ways, a being can convert their Mana into one of these two purified forms, this energy will linger in a area and if enough is provided it will eventually become self-sustaining turning that area into a Blessed/Cursed Site.
A Spellcaster with the right training is capable of drawing on that energy and using it to augment their spells.
Depending on the alignment of the Energy these evolved spells are referred to as Miracles or Curses and they are vastly more powerful than traditional magic.
These Evolved Spells are stronger the closer you are to a Site and can potentially be interfered with in places strongly attuned with the opposite number.
As an additional function of this energy it gradually causes living beings who dwell near its sources to adapt.
When dwelling near a massive font of Holy Mana there will be a small chance of a person being born as a ‘Hero’ a person with greater natural potential than non-heroes and the ability to naturally generate a certain amount of Holy Mana without training making it easy for them to use Miracles.
With Evil Mana on the other hand living beings will be warped and twisted becoming hostile monsters (sentient monsters are known as Demons) they generate a certain amount of Evil Mana just by existing and possess slightly augmented abilities though not to the same degree as heroes.
Over time a Monster or a Demon race that is removed from a source of Evil Mana can become inured to its residual corruption, in cases like the Dragon Born or Orcs this can eventually lead to their declassification as demons as they are not corrupted in any way by the Evil Mana.
Though it is easier to generate this kind of energy if you are morally aligned with it training and power is a factor, allowing individuals like Father Dubois and The Demon King to continue to generate their respective energy source regardless of their moral incompatibility.

Battle Beast is basically what happens if you encounter a DLC Boss in the starting area, the Invincible RPG is unbalanced…
Still incredibly funny that Machine Head of all people SOMEHOW managed to hire Battle Beast as one of his thugs.
"Whos next?" Yeah Mark dunno how to tell you this but like the second strongest living thing in the known universe.
