Rewatching Arcane and as good as S2E7 was, I personally don’t like Timebomb as a ship. I mean, I like Jinx and Ekko individually as characters, but I’m not really into the idea of them as a romantic pairing.

I get that the episode is a “look at what could have been if all the tragedy of season one didn’t happen” sort of multiverse-hypothetical situation, and seeing Powder and mainline-universe-but-zapped-into-alternate-universe Ekko work on the dimension-traveling machine/Z-drive was really fun, but mainline Ekko and Jinx as romantic pairing just doesn’t work for me. Honestly, I think it’s more tragic that they couldn’t be friends in the mainline universe than them not having the opportunity to be in a romantic relationship together. It could be argued that they did reconcile as friends in the finale because they teamed up during the final battle, but Jinx left Piltover/Zaun on the airship while Ekko stayed behind to help improve things in Zaun, so it still kinda feels like they can’t really be friends even after the battle’s over.

I don’t know, that’s just my opinion though. I’m open to discussion on the topic if anyone is interested. If not, that’s fine too, I’m just kinda rambling.

Update, went to the doctor, got a couple different scans, apparently my spine hasn’t gotten worse [what I feared] but it hasn’t gotten better either since the last time I visited for the same issue

I’m pretty sure my bloodstream is at least 50% dissolved meds at this point…
