you can see just how much dean loves cas not in all the grand gestures - the dying or killing for each other, staying in purgatory for a whole year (!). but in the little things. in the trenchcoat pulled out of water, kept and carried from car to car. in changing your own memory. in all the movies dean made cas watch. in dean throwing cas the keys to his baby no questions asked. in the picture of cas in the cowboy hat taken and kept in the wallet. in DEAN'S TOP 13 ZEPP TRA XX. the immense love was stored in those little acts and gestures.

spn is so funny bc you’ll be watching the show and the fallen angel gets sent to heaven conversion therapy and lobotomized repeatedly to stop his feelings for one human being and then when he’s brainwashed and has said human beaten and bloody on his knees and they’re holding hands the human is begging not to live but for the angel to come back to him.

“I need you,” he says, and it gets through to the angel.

then the season gag reel comes out and the actors are fucking around and say “you’re my baby daddy” and “i love you too” and and trying to shove one guy’s face into the other’s crotch.

then the script for the episode makes the rounds and you find out the already devastating “i need you” was originally “i love you”

then you go to a convention and someone asks about chemistry between the characters and they call you a sick freak and put you in gay jail for having impure thoughts about the Very Heterosexual men on tv.

then years later they allegedly pay for research where they allegedly had people rate the gayness of this exact scene to get the public’s opinion on hypothetically making this relationship explicitly gay. Allegedly.

Supernatural was funny in how when Dean and Sam had parallel storylines, Sam was paired with a woman, Dean - man.

Hello! I really love your artstyle and how you draw Viktor and jayvik, thank you for sharing your art! If you still take requests, may I suggest Viktor hugging Jayce while Jayce is casually working?

Jayce's protectiveness and need to be with Viktor after realising Viktor is dying is special to me but also makes me want to scream.

Prior to the hospital scene it's the "Are you sure this is safe?" "Of course not" and while Jayce does look concerned he leaves the lab. (He had that meeting with Mel but still)

After the hospital he immediately becomes slightly more protective and stays even if it's dangerous, the scene with the bomb. When Viktor triggers it Jayce panics but he doesn't leave Viktor even though they could've both blown up/been hurt.

Then when the hexcore destroys the plants Jayce instantly moves in front of Viktor. Another instant of this protectiveness is when Heimerdinger says he's shutting it down after seeing the plant + hexcore and Jayce says "No I won't let you" and "Professor this could save Viktor's life" which is what triggers Jayce into taking Heimerdinger off the council. While he does bring up other points to it in the meeting itself the main motivation was this scene with Viktor.

Then finally the whole "Promise me" scene Jayce did not want to make that promise, we visibly see him hesitate to make it and only accepting because of how important it was to Viktor. Unfortunately for Viktor in the opening of s2 we see Jayce's love and want for Viktor to live was more important as he breaks it to save him.
