Oc lore im making about the 6th necromancer oc I’ve made

Cpl. Derrick Evan’s is just one of the 12 compatible soldiers in history since the discovery of necromancy in 1922 that have been given the ability to raise and command the dead to fight once more for the United States. One of which was Technician 3rd Grade Lorenzo Russo, who was a part of the 82nd Airborne in World War Two. Being the 3rd necromancer in history, he had been pivotal in the creation of proper revival and summoning procedures that have been used in the training of necromancers of today. One of which was the M.E.E.L. (Mouth, Eyes, Ears, Limbs) procedure to verify casualties are ready for further service.

T-3 Russo was a Catholic Italian man from New Jersey. He died in 2006 of natural causes.

In the first year of the war, he had kept the fact that he was a necromancer under wraps. During that time in the war, he was majorly doing medic duties (necromancy has been classified as a combat medical role). But after that period, his entire unit knew of what he could do and has done some of which would directly tell him that they would be willing to be revived by him and follow him till the ends of the earth. At the end of service, he became a military contractor in charge of training future necromancers till he retired in the ‘80s at which point the 7th necromancer first sergeant Alejandro Gutierrez would take over in the 90’s.

Russo was distinctly charismatic making the his role in his company less uncomfortable with his abilities. The company would even start referring to him as grave digger or digger for a nickname. He would have objections to this role as a necromancer during the beginning of his career as a catholic man and would continue to struggle with this dilemma for the remainder of his life. As well as being charismatic funny pillar of the company he was seen as a great commander of the soldiers he revived essentially taking on the role of an officer.
