I don't know if there is a point to anything I'm doing anymore, so I'm quitting!

I think what pisses me off most about the series isn't the mediocre writing, it isn't the subpar animation that I know the animators try with what they've got, it's not the predictable Amazon buyout, it's not the messy character dynamics or the lack of growth from anyone or a plot/worldbuilding... I think why I'm so emotionally invested in this failure of an animation company, is that its end products make me feel nothing. If anything it makes me feel bad for the fans that fool themselves into thinking something is there when nothing is actually being presented on screen. I get upset at the fact that it could've been something great about the themes of having the lower voices being heard, or how redemption can be found even in the worst of people. But I can go to any other series for that kind of theme. That is what upsets me over the fact that the director is a scam artist gleefully pretending to mask that she cares about her characters or animation when in reality all she cared about is a franchise of shilled meaningless merch of cardboard cut out stereotypes that nobody is willing to question her integrity over.

I will not watch any future season of either show, I've lost hope knowing she won't change or willing to give criticisms a chance. I'm tired and done knowing the critical side is just as meaningless as the show she produces.

Actually! Just because a character makes you horny, that doesn't mean the design is good for a character design standpoint.

Bee's design is confusing the more you look at it.

I dislike how her second set of arms look, they look to separate from the rest of her body which they're the same color as her fur on her lava stomach. Those arms should have been under her arms pits (like Opal from SU) or the 2nd pair of arms should have been lava like her stomach which would have been cool and make her look otherworldly as a Deadly Sins compared to the Hellborn demons.

Her having furry boobs is weird, her chest to abdomen should have been all lava giving her the shape of a lava lamp. Lava boobs sounds freaky, fun, and lowkey 'hot'.

I dislike the choker she's wearing, it makes her look like a bobble head. Her main outfit trash too like she is wearing a bra but her shirt has an opening where we can see her chest. For someone who is royalty, her outfit having rips and tears looks tacky. I understand why the lower class demons clothes do but not someone who AT THE TOP!

I REALLY need to make that video about the Hellaverse character designs and actual break them down piece by piece, frame by frame every single design of a speaking role character. It will probably be over an hour long because what I have to say differs from the public opinion about Viv's character designing skills.

I wish I didn't have to take Spanish class during this summer. 🙃

This can work any any browser:

Right click and click on inspect

CTRL+F and search for the word quantity

To this day, I'll never understand why Katie Killjoy's voice was changed. And not only was it changed, it changed into a complete disaster. Her old one was perfect. Icing on the cake. She sounded like an actual news reporter. But now she's just another annoying Blitzo. What was even the point of that? She genuinely sounds so terrible to me like, the voice does not fit her at all in the slightest bit. At least in my opinion. She sounds like if she were to take the day off and Blitzo decided to just dress up as her and take her place for a day. It sounds like they swapped voices. It sounds like Katie smoked more than 70 packs of cigarettes just to make her voice deeper. It is absolutely fucking hideous and dog shit.

I don’t mind Voxval getting merch because I’d rather the show push them than Angelval. My annoyance is why the hell does Spindlehorse and its fandom act like these two have any chemistry. Their only interactions have been consistently insulting and undermining each other, and then randomly, they’re kissing and humping each other in the finale.

Does Vivziepop even know how to write a good villain duo/trio? She always makes them way too overly mean to each other. Adam and Lute are the only ones with an okay dynamic with Adam making jokes with her but because Lute is a woman, she’s not allowed to have moments where she fights or disagrees with Adam. Her villains are just so damn boring.

I think it's become pretty clear that Viv doesn't know how to write anything.

So, apparently, the animation director AND one of the writers of HH, Smiles (one of the three Sams), acted petty towards a Alastor/Vox fanart where the artist supposedly redrew the Vox/Val TCG card that was released in the latest Pride merch sale, and some salty Vox/Val shippers accused the artist of "plagiarizing" their precious official ship merch because the artist is supposedly butthurt over their ship not being canon, and Smiles, the literal official high-rank crew member of the show, egged on them by calling it "copium".

And now even loyal stans are expressing discomfort with the situation and calling Smiles unprofessional and directly chastising her on their comments for lacking fandom etiquette and stirring up ship wars. It's fascinating. That crew can act so damn unprofessional even loyal stans who are usually willing to defend anything are siding against one of Viv's right-hands.

whats funny about Sally Mae is that she was designed by someone Morgana accused of transphobia. This person had a trans fiancée and actually tried to make a trans masc sibling to Millie but was axed by viv. Morgana is profiting/kinning a character who was designed by an ex employee who advocated for more trans rep

Oh yeah, Morgana accused Erin Frost (ex Spindlehorse employee) of transphobia. It’s very weird and strange of Vivziepop to cut it out especially knowing that there is a transgender male background character in “Queen Bee” who was briefly interacting with Blitzø. Keep in mind, this is the same fandom who praised Vivziepop and her crew for just letting them be there.

On one hand I think the pride merch looks really good kudos to the artist that did an incredible job. Another hand this just feels so shallow and empty, because these aren’t characters written to have a story or any meaning, these are characters created for the sole purpose of merchandising and porn. i cant name a single trait or personality aside from being gay from any of these characters because they all bleed into each other. The only character I think is actually good is sir pentious and he was originally created to make fun of ex trans friends that viv was happy tormenting and celebrated them almost dying. Sallie Mae was designed by someone morgana accused of transphobia but is making money on their design and cosplaying and identifying with a character that was made by Erin frost.

I honestly can’t wrap my head around people—or the creators, apparently—pushing Vox and Valentino as some kind of “on-and-off” couple. Like, what are we doing here? Vox might be a villain, sure, but he's not stupid.

Valentino isn’t just toxic—he’s a full-on abuser, rapist, and trafficker, with actual scenes showing him brutalizing Angel Dust. Why would anyone want to be romantically or sexually involved with that? Are we really supposed to believe a cold, calculated overlord like Vox, someone who obsesses over power and control, would put up with Val’s unstable, sweaty, egotistical chaos? That’s not “twisted villain romance”—that’s just Viv animating her yaoi fantasies again, like she always does with every male character. There's zero chemistry, zero depth, and no logical reason for this ship to exist besides fanservice. You can't just say “they’re both evil” and expect that to excuse everything. Even in Hell, there’s a thing called standards.

Besides, compared to Vox, Val is whiny. He throws a whole tantrum like a toddler who didn’t get his toy, and Vox is required by him to calm him down? That doesn't scream "power couple"—that screams babysitter with benefits.

It honestly just makes Val look pathetic and Vox look like he’s wasting his time. If anything, that dynamic screams “Vox tolerates him for business optics” at best—not romance.
