i feel like the reason the pjo show is hated on is because for some reason tv shows are now 8 episodes a season every 3 years. the details you crave would be there if it were a 20-30 ep season. the pacing would be better if it were longer. the dialogue would be more natural cause it would be the characters figuring things out and not just giving exposition every 30 seconds

Hi! I'd like to recommend some Percabeth fics I read recently because they're amazing. I really enjoyed them and they're pretty underrated!

When Percy went to Westover Hall to answer Grover's distress call, he swore to himself that he would protect the di Angelo siblings at all costs.

What does that mean when he and Nico are captured by Thorn, and he is forced to make choices that threaten the fate of the world? How far is he willing to go to protect Nico, and what will he have to sacrifice?

Or: Percy is kidnapped at the beginning of Titan's Curse instead of Annabeth

this fic is canon divergent and it's so so good! it has lots of percy whump, and protective!percy over little nico who is also kidnapped:(

OR: After the SON quest, Percy's different. He mixes up past, present and future. This is the Mark of Athena and House of Hades quests, if Percy had been both more powerful, and slightly incapacitated.

I've only read up to chapter 4 but this fic has such a cool concept. percy has some prophetic powers and his memories get all mixed up as a result of drinking the gorgon's blood in SoN. he is not really all there, but he has some moments of clarity and it's devastating - but annabeth is there for him and the percabeth moments are really sweet. highly recommend <3

reading the end of HoH cause of my fanfic, and Hazel is literally using the Mist to defeat Pasiphae. Yknow, daughter of Helios, sister of Circe Pasiphae? At Clytius, she is literally, spatha out, screaming in rage, using gemstones like fucking projectiles, moving Leo, Percy and Annabeth so they'd be protected, and shadow travelling 7 people despite not knowing how to shadow travel.

She deserves MORE RESPECT

why does nobody talk about the absolutely insane things that Hazel has done, that prove the gods were right to be scared of big 3 kids? My girl can literally CONTROL THE MIST. Mind you, demigods aren't completely immune to the mist either so she can confuse demigods and mortals!!! In HOH when she and Jason met Sciron she used the mist to trick him into getting pushed off the cliff!!! Can we, as a fandom acknowledge how insanely cool that is???? And how terrifying that would be in a fight?? Imagine you're fighting someone, and reality is shifting in front of you and you can't tell whats real and whats not!!! And she did the same thing in the literal Labyrinth with Leo!! She used the mist to control Daedalus labyrinth, a place that even Annabeth struggled to figure out!! AND she did it despite the fact that Pasiphae was controlling it!! Someone PLEASE give my girl the credit she deserves!!

i feel like the seven should all have patron gods. and they should get powers based on that god

like obviously jason and leo are juno's favourites, im not sure what power they would get though

like percy having hestia as his patron goddess, and being more fire resistant, and people just shrugging it off as being a son of posiedon.

i feel like hazels would easily be hecate, that's pretty in line with canon.

frank's could be apollo, and could explain his natural aptitude for the bow (considering in ancient greece, using a bow was considered 'cowardly' and so doesn't align with his father being mars imo)

i have no idea for piper lmao but it would be kinda cool for it to be ares, blessing his stepdaughter (?) and allowing her to be an absolute weapon against monsters/people who think she's just a pretty face.

and then annabeth.... i have no clue. someone please tell me who annabeth's patron deity would be. like i thought posiedon cause of her connection to percy but like it doesn't fit, maybe aphrodite for their love and stuff but idk...
