Hello fellow bloggers,
This post is a little different from the previous post and I'm considering to post more content like this, because it's really important to spread these kind of cases across social media as much as possible.
Alissa's case is incredibly important to share. I've added a video from one of my favorite true crime Youtubers for you to watch, like and share. The video futures her sister, who tells her side of the story along with the information Kendall gives.
Know that this is frustrating to watch and incredibly heartbreaking as well, but please consider watching and sharing this with friends, family and your following on social media.
Thank you in advance!

Inferno by Dan Brown
Started: 3 October 2019
Finished: 13 October 2019
Rating: 3.5 / 5 stars
Tumblr media
Things that I didn’t like
- The chapter layout. At the beginning it kind of annoyed me, making me realize that it wasn’t my cup of tea. However, the further I got into the book the more I got used to it.
- It was a slow read. This book contains a lot of information that was woven into the storyline, which meant that I really had to focus on what I was reading, more than I usually have to. I did skim a few pages rather than read it word for word, but in my opinion I didn’t miss anything important.
Thing that I did like
- Dan Brown’s writing. This was the second book I read of him and even though it was a slow read, I really enjoy his writing.
- The educational function. This book is filled with information about Dante, his work, Florence (Italy) and al kinds of other information about historical art and artist. Robert Langdon is a professor of art history and symbolism, so you also can learn a lot from the way he thinks and solves the mysteries.
- The ending. The ending really caught me by surprise in a really positive way. Not only was it completely different from the movie, but the way that the whole truth was revealed was just right in my head. I really enjoyed and I think because of the ending I gave the book a rating of 3.5* instead of 3*.
Would I recommend this book?
Yes, I would definitely recommend it for readers who enjoy learning things through a book that you usually don’t learn via school. It’s also an awesome read for readers who enjoy mystery, adventure and history.
I don’t recommend this if you just got out of a reading slump or if you are still in one. It is a slow read and it’s not a light read either.

Hi!
Welcome to my Tumblr page!
My name is Denise and I’m an 18 year old from the Netherlands. I like being creative in many ways, for example: writing, drawing, journaling and photography. I also have a huge love for books and reading them, which is one of the reasons I created this blog. I love giving my opinion about books and tell fellow booklovers how I experienced them, and since I love writing as well, it is a a win-win situation!
For more, you can also find me Instagram:

Since I don’t have anything else to tell you, I hope to chat with you all about books as soon as I start posting my reviews and other fun little things.
Bye!
