Benefits Of Drinking Jasmine Tea
Jasmine tea, with its delicate but exotic scent, is soothing to your spirit as soon as you smell it being brewed. Made by blending jasmine blossoms with green tea leaves, the tea leaves pick up the scent of the blossoms. Scenting the tea leaves gives a velvety mouthfeel to the tea, which, along with the intoxicating aroma and numerous health benefits of green tea, make jasmine tea one of the most enjoyable “health drinks” there are. I love to buy tea on Amazon. Lauren Naturals has awesome organic teas on Amazon. I suggest using keyword “probiotic detox tea” or “lauren naturals tea” to find their tea.

Blood Sugar Levels Naturally
1. Subcutaneous injection of insulin is necessary for patients with hyperglycemia to curb the continuous increase in blood sugar in time. In general, the fastest way to contain it is to inject insulin directly under the skin. Although this method can quickly reduce the patient's blood sugar level, if the patient still does not pay attention to their own eating habits after the event, the blood sugar level will still rise quickly. Therefore, lowering blood sugar also needs to start with daily diet.
2. Eat more dietary fiber. For people with high blood sugar content, it is necessary to strengthen their own digestion efficiency of food. And dietary fiber has a strong digestion-promoting effect, so people with high blood sugar should eat more, especially after meals.
3. Replenish protein in time. If you want the digestive system to function normally, you need to maintain adequate energy supply for the kidneys. Protein is the main source of energy for the kidneys, so people with high blood sugar must eat more foods containing high-quality protein.
4. Control the intake of fat. For people with high blood sugar, if their fat content is too high, it will not only affect the rate of decrease in blood sugar level, but also cause the formation of diseases such as hyperlipidemia, which will greatly aggravate the patient. ’S condition. Therefore, controlling the intake of fat is an important task for patients with hyperglycemia.
5. Supplementing vitamins and inorganic salts For people with high blood sugar levels, they need to maintain the normal functioning of the nervous system, otherwise once the nerves are too tight, it may cause the formation of high blood pressure, which will seriously affect the rate of blood sugar reduction . Vitamins and inorganic salts are the main sources of energy to maintain the normal functioning of the nervous system read more...

The Fastest Way To Lose Weight Fast
Does Losing Weight Increase Height?
The truth is, it depends on how much weight we're talking about. I'm sorry, but losing a few pounds won't have any effect on your height. However, this does not mean that you have to drop below the healthy weight you should be by losing excess weight. If you are someone who has a weight problem, your primary goal should not be to increase height, but to gain a healthy weight!
On the other hand, if you're obese and lose a lot of weight to get back to your healthy weight, this may help you get a little taller. Similarly, gaining a lot of weight can also make you shorter. But how can this happen?
First of all, when you exercise regularly, your posture will change and you will start to stand more upright. That is, you will no longer walk in a forward-leaning position. This way, you will look taller than usual.
>> Get a Free Weight Loss Plan !
When you lose weight, you can expect people to tell you "you look taller". Part of the reason is that people are now focusing on your height, not your belly or thick legs. This is similar to how clothes with horizontal stripes make them look shorter, and long stripes make them look taller.
In addition, the extra weight placed on your joints and spine can put pressure on you, making you a little shorter. Imagine placing a thick book on a fiber pillow. Yes, the pressure reduced the height of the pillow, and when I lifted the book, it returned to its normal size and became higher. This is actually what being overweight does to your body. After this simple physics example, let's talk about a scientific study on the subject.
The clearest scientific evidence for taller growth after weight loss is a study conducted by Israeli neurosurgeon Zvi Lidar and colleagues. The aim of this 2012 study was to document changes in intervertebral disc height after weight loss in people with severe obesity. The researchers found that restoration of disc height after weight reduction was important. They observed an increase of approximately 2 mm in only one intervertebral disc between the fourth and fifth lumbar vertebrae.
How Long Will My Height Grow After Weight Loss?
The more you put a load on your spine, the more you put pressure on this tissue. This means more compression and shortening of the spine. When we free the spine from this pressure, you can be taller than before. But, realistically, no matter how much weight you lose, your height increase will not be more than 5 to 10 mm. So, even if you lost weight and reached your healthy weight goal, I'm sorry but you won't be "cypress tall".
On the other hand, while it's impossible to lose weight and achieve your dream basketball player height, even modest weight loss can provide significant health benefits. A weight loss of 5 to 10% is often sufficient to improve blood sugar, blood pressure and cholesterol levels and reduce stress on vital organs. Studies show that you can extend your lifespan, too. In summary, losing weight for real can mean taking back some of your life.
Finally, keep in mind that if you are already at a healthy weight, extra weight loss will have no effect on your height. As we mentioned before, your primary goal should not be to increase height, but to reach a healthy weight! When you do this, the pressure on your vital organs will be relieved, your chances of getting diabetes and certain types of cancer will decrease, and you will feel better than ever before. In short, the health effects of losing weight will make you look and feel better read more...

You can just go by the biggest dog breeds with the highest bite force.
I don't really buy into the idea that some breeds are dangerous anymore than I buy into the idea that particular groups of people are just prone to violence.
Most dogs behaviour is based on what their owners thought them or how well they’ve been socialised, just like humans. Without proper education and socialisation humans can be violent and dangerous.
Every so called dangerous dog breed I’ve ever meet was just another dog, depending on how the owners treated them they were as friendly as any other breed because at the end of the day they are still dogs and breeds are a load of nonsense.
The idea of pedigree dogs, which was more or less an invention of Victorian Britain is a complete travesty for the K9 species. Not only do they have to physically suffer the consequences of our actions, but they have to suffer through the consequences of our assumptions and ideals we have around certain dog breeds read more...

Better Metabolism or More Foods To Take
Your metabolism is not static. It goes faster when it’s busy turning food to energy, and slower when it’s not, like when you’re sleeping. If you ever get so stressed you can’t eat, you’ll notice by day 2, no poops. Our metabolism comes to a complete stand-still. This is written up as a survival technique. That is to say, if we kept metabolizing at a high speed while not eating for long periods, we would get through all our body fat very fast and die.
Fun times.
Moving on.
If you eat more energy (kcal) than you use up, the excess energy will be converted to fat. There are a few disorders that cause the a person to feel hungry all the time no matter how full they are, but they are unlikely to be the reason behind most people’s extra weight. We just do like food. Food science has brought about sensations in food that we are wired to enjoy and even become addicted to. Not just flavor enhancement, but even the textures have been modified to be so satisfying you simply have to return for more. Pringles are a great example of the capabilities of food science these days.
If you want to lose weight, you can reduce calories without starving yourself and you can burn calories through walking or another exercise without changing a thing about your diet. It just depends on how quickly you want to lose weight.
Nothing about weight loss is very fast though. 1 pound of fat is 3500 calories, so you see, it does take time, but it is completely within our reach read more...

Is Eating Junk Food Once a Day Healthy
Junk foods
For what reason do we ache for rich, crunchy, singed dishes that cause swelling waistlines, more elevated cholesterol and rising pulse? Since they taste great! Peruse on for the 9 most exceedingly terrible food sources you’re eating and the sound substitutes to go after when you simply need to enjoy…
Worst Junk Food #1: Ice Cream
Ah, ice cream. The source of many tummy aches and dessert hangovers. Junk Foods I’ve heard ice cream is the best flavor ever, but sometimes ice cream can do more damage than good. People love ice cream so much, and so readily, that some see it as a “treat” all the time. This is a mistake! Drinking a lot of ice cream does not count as healthy, healthy-sounding, indulgent behavior. Ice cream has the highest levels of fat per ounce of any food, no matter what shape or flavor it is. The sugar, lactose, and calories you eat from ice cream make up all of the nutrition you get from it, and it’s way too high in calories for someone to truly be able to enjoy ice cream. With regular ice cream, you’ll lose nearly all of the benefits of regular ice cream if you eat it every day.
Worst Junk Food #2: French Fries
It’s almost impossible to go past the deliciously crispy, white-grey skin that surrounds fries, it’s as iconic as the cheese sauce and aubergine ketchup combo found on a chips dinner. If you crave French fries and are not ready to take the health leap, ask the restaurant for a side of steamed green vegetables. You can eat them with some dipping sauce on the side for an easy alternative.
Healthy Substitutions:
Mushrooms. Roasted, chopped mushrooms – they’re also a great source of fiber and protein. Add them to your daily diet and keep snacking healthy! Beans. They can be washed and eaten as is with your favorite dip. Cashew.
Worst Junk Food #3: Donuts
Donuts are another example of good tastes being sacrificed for money-making. They are not healthy and are very bad for you. Junk Foods The fat content is around 16g per donut and the sugar content in the Krispy Kreme variety is around 10g per donut. A donut is essentially nothing more than a giant hole in the middle of a pastry and it’s so much better for you to make your healthy cakes and muffins at home instead of buying them. Here are some more tips for healthier donuts:
Use a healthier source of butter such as sunflower oil rather than margarine (margarine is only 2.
Worst Junk Food #4: Granola Bars
They’re everywhere. As seen on television, seen on the internet, in every store I visit.
A granola bar is a portion of basic, dehydrated breakfast food. And as you know, they’re not so bad, except that, well, they’re disgusting. I mean, even if you’re healthy, there is nothing particularly healthy about them.
One serving (just one granola bar, mind you) has a whopping five grams of sugar, a whopping 60 grams of fat, and almost 150 calories, making it a quick meal for the whole family and a diabetic’s nightmare.
As you can see, you would have to eat 13,500 granola bars to get to 1 gram of saturated fat. That is not a formula for great wellbeing.
So why do we keep eating them? We think they taste good.
Granola bars are nothing more than mini, frozen candy bars.
Worst Junk Food #5: Pizza
I’ll just come out and say it: pizza is the foulest junk food ever created. I’ve tried to make my own. I’ve tried the Quorn Pizza Crust (and it’s delicious). I’ve tried tofu pizza. I’ve tried the M&S version. None of them compare to that warm, cheesy, delicious pizza that’s been lovingly cooked in front of you by an actual pizza delivery man.
But why?
There is just no reason for it. Junk Foods It’s doughy, unhealthy, filling, delicious, and devoid of any redeeming qualities. Eat a regular pizza. It’s edible, it’s fine. But eat a Domino’s? You’re an idiot and you’re going to get fat.
The final piece of the pizza-pizza-pizza jigsaw puzzle is garlic bread. This stuff just sits on your plate like a disease waiting to consume the entire plate.
Worst Junk Food #6: Cookies
A survey by the ‘Daily Mail’ has revealed that one in five Brits has the awful habit of eating four or more cookies a day. Junk Foods Fortunately, several suitable substitutes exist in the form of low-calorie desserts and healthy breakfast cereals.
Raisin, oat, plain, gluten-free oats, rice, millet, quinoa, and buckwheat – all great choices if you’re on a health kick and can’t quite imagine nibbling a whole bag of junk food cookies in one sitting. Check out this rather delicious recipe from Diabetes UK for low-sugar wholewheat oatcakes and this Quinoa Chocolate Chip Cookie recipe from Australian food writer Candice Kumai.
Worst Junk Food #7: Sandwich Wraps
Hand-wrapped sandwich wraps have become a huge thing over the last few years. A perfect blend of convenience food, a reliable and cost-effective lunch option, sandwich wraps are one of the most popular lunch items for office workers across the globe.
I think that these tasty lunch items are the epitome of all things unhygienic, unhealthy, and lacking in taste.
But as long as you pack your wraps in a reusable bag to take home with you, you can indulge yourself with a “healthy” sandwich wrap.

Weight loss
Eat Stop Eat is an unconventional approach to intermittent fasting popularized by Brad Pilon, author of the book “Eat Stop Eat.”
This intermittent fasting plan involves identifying one or two non-consecutive days per week during which you abstain from eating, or fast, for a 24-hour period.
During the remaining days of the week, you can eat freely, but it’s recommended to eat a well-rounded diet and avoid overconsumption.
The rationale behind a weekly 24-hour fast is that consuming fewer calories will lead to weight loss.
Fasting for up to 24 hours can lead to a metabolic shift that causes your body to use fat as an energy source instead of glucose (10Trusted Source).
But avoiding food for 24 hours at a time requires a lot of willpower and may lead to binging and overconsumption later on. It may also lead to disordered eating patterns.
More research is needed regarding the Eat Stop Eat diet to determine its potential health benefits and weight loss properties.
Talk to your doctor before trying Eat Stop Eat to see if it may be an effective weight loss solution for you read more...

Weight Gain
You are on dangerous turf. Your worried about weight, and talking about binging. This tells me two things, I might be wrong.
Firstly; you are not experienced in binging. Had you been, then you would know that yes, you will gain weight.
Secondly this brings me to believe that you will most likely binge and then restrict. After restricting you will binge again, and you will be worried about your weight. You will most likely gain weight. Somewhere down the line (maybe this happened already) you will feel lonely. Wrong. Ashamed. Weak. You will blame your body, your eating and your self. You will tell your self that you need to muster up, stop being so weak, stop eating, lose weight so that you will stop feeling ashamed and lonely. Then you will start a restricting cycle again. You will feel good about your self. Then one day, you will binge again. The self-blame gets to new heights. If only you could be in more control. You start to believe that you are somehow flawed. You start feeling deeply ashamed of your self, and start believing that you are inherently a bad person that doesn’t deserve the same love and care as others. You need to be punished. Controlled even more.
The pattern and the cycle grows in intensity, it will swallow you up until at last there is nothing but your prison of thoughts, always blaming your self, always thinking of food, always self loathing, fighting to fit in the to small box your belief system wants you to fit in. You will be desperate for a way out, but to afraid to see it. You will be longing for the old days, where you could still see the door, and you would want to scream to your younger self to “get help now!”.
Most binge-eaters go from 10–17 years without seeking help, only doing so when it feels so bad it is unbearable. Help in the early stages dramatically improves the rate of improvement and the length of treatment.
Please stop worrying about your weight, and please start showing your self love and understanding, seek help (not a dietician, but a therapist or psychologist that have extensive knowledge and experience in the field) and break the cycle. Please.
There is a reason you are binging. It is not about willpower. The more you let your self think, that it is because you are weak, flawed and unworthy, the more you believe that it is about control, the more you will binge, and the more you will distance your self from the reason why you are binging.
“Food was our love; eating was our way of being loved. Food was available when our parents weren’t. Food didn’t say no. Food didn’t hit. Food didn’t get drunk. Food was always there. Food tasted good . Food became the closest thing we knew of love.” (Citation from Geneen Roth’s book, “When Food is Love” read more...

Eats 4,000 Calories In a Day
Calories isn’t a good indicator. I could give you 100 calories in peanuts and 100 calories in gummy bears and you could probably tell me which one was a better choice even if they were the same amount of calories. The answer depends on what the calories are from and how much calories the person burns in a normal day.
This is an example of a good “4,000” calorie scenario: You’re talking about a slim person with a high metabolic rate that works out daily. The calories are from fruit, vegetables, chicken, turkey, beans, milk, nuts, etc. and not from highly processed foods. In many cases like this, the 4,000 calorie diet would be beneficial for lean muscle gains and needed due to the high metabolic rate (for the person to maintain their weight and not lose it due to the excessive exercise). The calories are intended for him/her to gain healthy weight and are from good foods.
This is an example of a bad “4,000” calorie scenario: The typical day consists of a large amount of carbs and sugar (cereal, pizza, bread, pasta, etc.) and processed foods (deli meat, frozen food, canned food, boxed food, etc.). The reason this is bad is just because of the food choices, not the number of calories. A 4,000 calorie diet with high carbs and sugar will result in large fat gains and will not keep a person attentive and focused day-to-day.
I would rather eat 3,000 calories of fresh chicken, veggies, beans, and nuts than 1,500 calories in cereal and frozen pizza. The healthy 3,000 calories are going to be more beneficial to your body than the 1,500 from fat, carbs, and sugar.
In America, it is more typical that a person eating 4,000 calories a day would fall in the second description. There are many people in the first description, but due to the obesity epidemic and change in our eating habits since the 50’s, more people are meeting the latter read more...

Be Healthy
Let me set out a few things first—in the US, anyway, but I believe in most countries, being overweight or obese is determined by your BMI (Body Mass Index) which uses as input your height and your weight. Results are sometimes differentiated by sex as to at what BMI one become overweight or obese, but frequently the types of hormones your body is experiencing are not taken into account.
BMI also does not measure the percentage of your body that is fat, bone, organ, muscle, etc. It only compares your weight against your height.
So. There are obviously some issues with determining if a person is overweight or obese based solely on numbers. As many scientists critical of the BMI as the be all and end all measure of healthy weight have pointed out, a cubic centimeter of muscle weighs more than a cc of fat. Individuals who are very muscular will likely fall into the overweight category based solely on BMI. Other criticisms are that BMI doesn't account for different body shapes—a person with wider hips can have the same percentage of body fat as someone with slimmer hips of the same height, and they will weigh different amounts and thus have different BMIs. The hormones that women frequently experience in greater quantities than men do encourage the storage of a certain amount of fat, so comparing across sexes (as far as hormones are concerned—the difference between sex, gender, etc and people who have transitioned using hormonal treatments is yet another sticky issue) is likely to produce different results for people with the same percentage of body fat.
So, established that BMI alone is a problematic way of determining whether a person is overweight or not. In general, I find that once your BMI is falling into the obesity category, it's unlikely that you are at a healthy weight as determined by body fat percentage, but I can't guarantee it's impossible.
However— your body doesn't know what your BMI is. It's not a direct measurement of your body like your heart rate, your temperature or your respiration. Those are intrinsic factors that your body can (theoretically) control for itself on a relatively automatic basis. Your body doesn't look at your BMI and say, oh, well, I must be unhealthy then! Nor does it say, oh, I need to loose some weight.
Anyway. I say that even if your body is being assessed by body far percentage and NOT BMI, you may not be inherently unhealthy if you have excess weight. Is it likely? Yes. Will you immediately develop every issue associated with being overweight? No. It can take years. You may never develop those issues. You may develop some. Being overweight or obese increases your likelihood of developing these problems. It doesn't guarantee you will.
What's really important though is the flip side. Your BMI and body fat percentage can be rosy. That doesn't mean you're healthy. It doesn't even mean you're any healthier than someone who us overweight or obese by any measure. Health is an overall, holistic condition. There are a zillion problems you can have or develop while being at a healthy BMI and a good body fat percentage.
I'm not saying that being incredibly obese is something you should strive for. Quite the opposite. I am saying that your weight is not the full picture of your health and some of the problems that can be caused by too much focus on a person's weight (this includes psychological and emotional stress, potential development of eating disorder or pursuing other unhealthy avenues to lose weight, as well as denying that a person may have health issues unrelated to their weight, or causing their weight!) are potentially more deadly, and faster killing, then being overweight or obese read more...

What has been your experience with the ketogenic diet?
1. I lost 2-3 lbs a week. 27 lbs in total. However.
2. Sugar cravings resulted in occasional mood swings. It was really hard to say No to bread, pasta, and sweets.
(Pro tip: do your best to remove from your home any foods that you shouldn't eat. This way it will be easier to refuse temptations.)
3. The First 4 days were the most challenging due to fatigue and sugar cravings. It's usually called "Keto-flu".
4. Most keto recipes take 10-20 minutes to prepare. The ones that I’ve used from Keto Cycle plan that is.
Unless you love fancy meals. These might take longer.
5. I'd say meals were delicious and satiating. I didn't experience hunger pangs.
(Keto is not for you if you hate cheese, bacon, avocados, butter, sausages, keto pancakes, keto bread, salads...)
Nonetheless, taking into account all the negatives and the positives - the whole keto experience has taught me so much. Hence, I sincerely believe that it opened way more doors for me than had closed. And by closed doors, I mean the doors to the bread box.
The most important question you should ask yourself before starting the keto diet:
Is your motivation to lose weight outweighs the required effort for a temporary lifestyle change?
Most diets fail not because they are hard to stick to.
Most diets fail because we don't want to lose weight badly enough.
That's where cravings and old habits come in and ruin our plans.
If your willingness to get a flat-belly is not that high, keep your expectations regarding weight loss lower.

Can you "trick" your brain to follow the keto diet?
Kind of.
I decided to stick to it at least for a week and then stepped on scales.
Progress motivated me to keep going.
And let’s not forget the neverending question when it comes to the keto diet - how much weight could YOU lose?
In short, it depends on your gender, age, body type, lifestyle, and food preferences. So, it is pretty difficult to even speculate.

In any case, experience on the keto diet, or any diet for that matter, will vary from person to person. As I’ve said, before starting the diet assess your level of determination. It will, for sure, influence your experience. Mind over matter read more...

My dog is considered extremely dangerous. It's even forbidden to keep that breed without a special training certificate in my country. It's a Tosa Inu. Japanese fighting dog. He weights around 180 pounds (80-85 kg). The breed is illegal/banned in:
United Kingdom Australia Cyprus Denmark Iceland Malaysia where the country's government claimed that the Tosas are specifically bred for fighting; the step was made in order to combat the increasing number of dog attacks on humans, especially children. Malta New Zealand Norway Turkey
source: Tosa (dog)
However, during the 7 years he lives with us he's never attacked anybody. I sometimes put my hands into his food to add some goodies and he carefully avoids my fingers. He also hates when I wash him but is patient enough and doesn't move or growl at all. When I take him for a walk he never notices dogs smaller than him. No matter how hard they try to get his attention. If other dogs bark so hard that they almost rip their leash apart he would just look at them for a second and walk by as if it was just a tree he already peed on. If someone enters my property with my permission and so long as my dog sees he/she is a safe person he won't even bark or care about the visitor.
I share the opinion that it doesn't matter how big a dog is or what breed it is. Every dog is going to be safe for the owners if they treat him with love and spend enough time around him. A dog just gives back what he receives. If it's love what he gets I'm sure it's the most honest friendship what you'll get in return.
