Donuts for Sunday.. because on Sunday I like to Donut-hing

As seen in photos : Marvelous Melon, Tiramisu Mocca, Choco In Red. For the drink, I like having Mint Iced Cocoa, a mix of cocoa powder with mint syrup, poured on the ice cubes. So refreshing.

Recent findings: Pocky Blueberry Yoghurt flavor, Fruit-tea Extreme flavor (which turned out not so extreme), Biskies Oat Arabian dates flavor, and Cimory Milk Pudding Marie Biscuit flavor.

Saya tuh takut banget menyeberang jalan raya. Bahkan ketika menyeberang di jalan raya yang rambu-rambunya jelas sekali pun.

Kalau di sekitar situ ada jembatan penyeberangan, demi apa saya akan pakai. Kecuali manakala harus benar-benar bergegas, yang akhirnya memaksa saya menyeberang dengan panduan lampu lalu lintas.

Saya takut, sebab saya menilai bahwa para pengendara di jalan ini ngawur. Pengalaman membuktikan itu. Saya pernah diserempet motor sampai jatuh terjerembab menubruk aspal. Gigi depan saya sampai sekarang masih hilang secuil gara-gara ini.

Jika sampai detik ini praktik calo dan tembak-menembak SIM masih marak dilakukan, sampai kapan pun saya masih punya trust issue terhadap para pengemudi kendaraan di jalan raya.

Saya nggak mau celaka gara-gara diserempet bocah ingusan kebelet gaul yang naik motor balap knalpot ngeter pemberian bapaknya habis jual sawah.

Lihat pasangan muda-mudi sedang bertengkar di pinggir jalan raya, ingin rasanya saya hampiri mereka lalu berkata "oh gini kamu ya, di belakangku?" kemudian buang muka dan pergi.

Ben tambah chaos mereka berantem.

Paten-patenan sisan kono karepmu.

Hehehe.. bercyaannnddaa.

Lagi pengen banget makan sesuatu, udah dibela-belain pergi ke tempatnya, terus pas sampai lokasi... yah, tempatnya tutup.

Betapa patah hati tak melulu soal cinta.

Five years apart. Different camera phone device. Different place.

Same chubbiness.

I just saw these four fantastic movies in the theater and they're all good!

I intentionally skip the review and synopsis because I love to be surprised by the script, and I don't want to spoil my judgment.

Let me share my brief impressions after seeing them :

1. BRING HER BACK : this movie was successfully making me uncomfortable with its gory and bloody scenes, not to mention Sally Hawkins' outstanding performance as the 'disturbed' foster mother.

2. THE PHOENICIAN SCHEME : this is the first time in my life to see Wes Anderson's film on the big screen, and each frame felt so aesthetically pleasing. It is a comedy movie and I love how they deliver the jokes through the fast-paced dialogue.

3. GOWOK : JAVANESE KAMASUTRA : I was honestly surprised with the whole plot because at first I assumed this movie would be erotic. It turned out Gowok showed other things : politics, love, and the forgotten old Javanese culture. It's a beautiful film, I hoped the audience of Rotterdam Film Festival will be impressed, too.

4. BALLERINA : even though the weapon and fighting sequence seemed like a repetitive part from John Wick movies, Ballerina is still enjoyable. Anna de Armas is so lovely. You should listen to the soundtrack : Hands That Feed by Halsey featuring my favorite singer with her hauntingly beautiful voice Amy Lee.

My point is (and I do have one) :

The longer you’re single, the harder dating people gets.

You realize how peaceful it is being single and never want to get out of that comfort zone.

At this point I just choose to date myself and I'm finding inner peace.

At this point I'm just enjoying being single. I choose inner peace without heartbreaks.

I don't even remember when was the last time I had a real boyfriend.

Sure it is nice to have someone special that stays by your side. What a joy to get someone to hug, someone to kiss, someone to share your happiest moments.

But if you don't have one, that doesn't make you less valuable human.

You are still you. With a partner or not.

PS : this year I'll be 35. And still no boyfriend.

Yay! (or is it 'yikes?')
