if you didn't want the fandom in the tournament you could have just forbid submissions from this fandom :/ no need to jump through the hoops and add additional contestants

I definitely understand how it ended up looking like that, but it genuinely wasn't the point here!

Nimona wasn't originally entered due to the timing of the movie's release but people expressed interest in seeing her compete anyway, though I wasn't sure about late submissions until The Sidekick gave some good reasoning for the change

The Sidekick originally proposed swapping her in for the homestuck representative because of lack of knowledge on the fandom and the fact that they would secure the group tournament win anyway, but it felt a bit unfair so I left it up to a vote

I plan to do another bracket after this one with more of the initial nominations, so characters from homestuck will still be competing later on!
