Sabezra Imperial AU where Dr. Wren of the Advanced Weapons Research Division is trying to get her nerfherder boss to sign off on her relationship disclosure request form but Krennic keeps dodging her because in his mind: “If Dr. Wren is involved in a serious relationship that may lead to marriage! Which might lead to children! Which might lead to something horrible like work-life balance which is bad for research productivity and therefore bad for my career!”

She tries to get approval through SR (Sentient Resources) but that department is run almost entirely by rambling Troigs and they won’t approve her request since the chain code she listed for her partner corresponds to an individual who does not legally exist and “Twelfth Brother” doesn’t sound like a real name so why doesn’t she try filling out seven different request forms all of which require her boss’ signature that she’s never going to get anyway?

Dr. Wren and her fiancé (who indeed does not legally exist but no way is she going to let some stupid paperwork get between her and that broody, bantering black-armored bad boy) are debating whether they should torture Krennic into signing the relationship disclosure form or toss him off the tallest building on Coruscant and deal with his replacement or simply run off together into Wild Space when an antiques dealer with a toupee manifests out of nowhere and offers them a discount on an ancient relic from Lothal as a wedding present and oh by the way the Rebellion doesn’t have a horrible SR department and he would be happy to sign their relationship disclosure form himself if they would consider defecting

I get the vibe that Obi-wan is the only Jedi that Dooku actually respects and likes outside of like maybe Yoda. He just wants to be able to duel someone with his preferred style and doesn’t trust anyone else.

au where obi wan gets yoinked off of geonosis. like. everything else is the same, anakin and padmé come to save obi, get captured, go into the arena, etc. etc. but dooku just stole obi wan and brought him to serenno w/ him

i fully believe dooku would do that. nobody in the galaxy, not even sheev palpatine knows where obi wan is (palps is panicking over this important variable being nowhere to be seen) and obi is just tied to a chair while dooku is having a power point presentation on why makashi is the best lightsaber form
