Adriana Smith’s neonate was delivered today, 3 months early (around 28 weeks).

She will finally be allowed to rest and taken off of life support.

Her family’s fundraiser is nowhere near its goal, and now they have tremendous NICU costs to look forward to based on how her son was able (or unable) to develop under the duress of all those life saving drugs they pumped his mom full of.

Please allow this mother’s spirit to rest and support their family as they’re finally allowed to grieve poor Adriana being used as an incubator for the state.

Trump ordered federal agencies to stop spending money that Congress passed laws to spend.

HE DOESN'T HAVE THE POWER TO DO THAT. Presidents are required by law to spend the money Congress approves. And Congress is the only branch allowed to approve spending.

THE AGENCIES ARE LISTENING ANYWAY. Possibly because no one is telling them that they don't have to. Possibly because no Democrats have decided to lead on this issue.

Trump wants this to go to court so SCOTUS can claim he has this power because they don't like the Constitution either.

This is a legit, actual Constitutional Crisis. If he can just do this, there's not really a point to having a Congress.

Dems are going to workshop their carefully worded reply to death rather than be pissed about it.

Call your congresspeople! Call you governor! The money being frozen was promised to your state!

Hey, America, WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU?!?!

Ok, I just heard about the news of the US bombing Iran, and oh my god, I wish the bullet gave Trump a piercing through the skull than the ear, cause then we wouldn’t be in this fucking mess in the first place! Prepare for a long rant.

First, and probably one of the biggest warning signs that we should have known we were fucked is when Trump said he didn’t trust Tulsi Gabbard, who is our current director of national intelligence. One thing to note, Gabbard is under-qualified to be put in the position that Trump himself put her in. Considering this, why the fuck did he PERSONALLY PICKED an under-qualified person HE DOESN’T TRUST in the first place???

Secondly, he’s been doing the game of risk with our economics by trying to isolate us and limit our chances, which is making the situation ten times worse for us. Since it’s unlikely Trumpers (and whatever Republican is willing to listen to him) will listen to me, I’m going to talk about this not with humanity, but with their main priority: economics.

By adding stupidly big tariffs to America, citizens here are less inclined to spend their money on international products that can be circulating the money to its citizens, American sellers have to raise prices for products because their international inventory now costs more than usual, and whatever products America should be making over seas is now fucked because the countries we pissed off now have tariffs against us, making us be limited in resources.

Trump has also cut support programs such the USAID and UNRWA, and now he’s trying to avoid paying NATO 5% of the GDP THAT HE SUGGESTED RAISING THE AMOUNT TO IN THE FIRST PLACE! By not helping out the people in these countries, Trump has made it to where we cannot ask other countries for help because we refused to do our part in supporting them.

Obviously, Trump has gotten rid of DEI and has put a ban on trans people being in the military. By getting rid of DEI, our innovation has decreased significantly because the people in power now have a limited view point that lacks the awareness people of different backgrounds would of had. Also, the ban on trans people being in the military not only got rid of qualified people, but their roles are now either empty due to fear of being kicked out because of their identity, or replaced by someone less competent, all of which puts us in even more danger.

Finally, their’s Trump’s claims that he bombed all of Iran’s nuclear weapons, and let me just say this in true crime terms, Iran always had the opportunity, they now have the motive, and if Trump is wrong, Iran has the fucking weapon to kill us. America is passive in our military tactics where unless we are dragged into in like Pearl Harbor and the sinking of American boats, we support a side through resources and finances. Trump is trying to make America provocative and we aren’t prepared for this military strategy.

Trump has effectively created a distrust between America and everyone else, making it less likely that another country is willing to help America when Iran more than likely strikes us.

Edit: Forgot to mention something for economics, Trump has committed tax fraud that lasted for 15 years and was discovered back in 2022. Whoever thought it was a good idea to put the annoying orange in charge of our finances is the biggest idiot I have ever seen and it proves to me that Trump never understood economics, which is terrible since money is the reason why America is isolated.

I fucking hate that the general response to RFK Jr's eugenist take on autistic people is "autistic people do pay taxes, autistic people do work, autistic people do date!"

Some autistic people don't and that shouldn't make them less worthy of life. Some autistic people do need constant help and support and that shouldn't make them less worthy of life.

Once again we're falling in the right wing trap of :

They make a hateful, fascist statement

Instead of focusing on the fact that it is hateful and fascist we try to show them that they are factually wrong

We throw our own allies and the most vulnerable of us under the bus in the process

We legitimise an only slightly less hateful, fascist view as we go

They have completed their goal of making us accept the still hateful, fascist second version, hurrah. What a victory.

Right now what we're getting to with that is that autistic people who can work and pay taxes are okay, and the others aren't. Fuck this shit.

Same thing happens with the people who are being deported ("they have a visa!", "they didn't even have a criminal record!" -> even if they didn't have a visa, even if they did have a criminal record, deporting them and detaining them in what's essentially a concentration camp wouldn't be okay, you absolute tools of fascism.)

Some other aspects that caused the “increase” in autism and why misconceptions about autism still somehow exists in 2025:

There’s this little skill most common in girls and Black people we had to develop that’s called ✨MASKING✨. It’s essentially us learning to hide our neurodivergent traits to make the neurotypicals around us more comfortable because for some reason neurotypical people like RFK Jr. choose to try and “cure” us because our existence make them uncomfortable instead of, oh I don’t know, bother to understand who we are as people. Eventually, with more awareness and acceptance of autism, the use of masking decreases and allowed more diagnosises to occur.

We didn’t have a word or proper understanding of autism until 1911 for a schizophrenia case and was use as a diagnosis starting in 1943, when Hans “I’ll Execute Any Obviously Autistic Children and is a FUCKING NAZI” Asperger described the literal children under his care as “Autistic Psychopaths”. Before then, most people that would be considered autistic today would have been seen as odd or be misdiagnosed. Fast forward and we currently have ways to communicate together and provide more clarity about our experiences that doctors can use to improve their criteria.

While I’m at it, the criteria for the signs of autism were WAY TO FUCKING STRICT! For example, women weren’t diagnosed as autistic because autism was a “male disorder,” our special interest/hyperfixations and expression of were limited, our stims were exaggerated, and all of these signs were villainized (described as disturbed and defected) because they didn’t fit neurotypical standards. Soon, we started to explore the different symptoms of autism and our criteria started to expand, allowing more people to fall under the autism umbrella. Unfortunately though, there are neurotypical people (RFK Jr.) who don’t bother to do basic research on the current information about autism, which makes them more susceptible to misinformation that fuck autistic people over.

Also, the fact that RFK Jr. said he would “eliminate {autism} exposures” and compared a neurological disorder to COVID (with more concern about the increase in autism than COVID), this feels like RFK Jr.’s plans will either isolate autistic people in an unnecessary and potentially dangerous quarantine if they lean into ABA therapy practices, or he’s going to take a page from Mein Kampf.
