I don't know what this is. The Tampa mermaids went to mermaid Busch Gardens. Which also has muppets. I felt like messing around with textures and that's all.

This is a sort of an alternative scenario where the tweels, azul and their classmates learn the girls not so little secret, and it started with making a splash

Get into the swim

It was a day for poor Melody to dread...Swimming class. Now she could admit she didn't mind looking at the water near her home and there were times where she most certainly wanted to go in it but each time she was caught even going near the sea, her parents would yell at her. Melody was never sure as to why this was but she couldn't exactly find out why during this. Melody was drawn out of her thoughts by Floyd who had snuck behind her

"Boo~" he said amused before she gave a small shriek of fright

"Floyd don't tease the poor thing" Jade chastised his twin before turning to Melody

"You seem extra jumpy today miss Seashell care to tell?" The tall boy asked

"I I've never gone swimming that's all"

This made both boys give a look of surprise

"Well nows a good time to learn angelfish I'm sure you'll do great" Floyd grinned

Vargas blew his whistle before instructing everyone to get into two lines

First years and second years

Melody of course went to the first year line and thankfully for her she was among the last in line

This small relief wouldn't be able stay for long, for it wasn't only friends who attended this class today but some boys who were also a tad mean.

Ever since she came, these particular boys had been tormenting Melody in any way they could. The main bully of the group Horst smirked upon seeing Melodys discomfort at the sight of the water

Approaching her he spoke in a friendly way that somehow made Melody even more uneasy

"Hey Seashell you look nervous" Horst said

"W well a little bit" Melody said back

"Hey I remember my first time it's not that deep i can show you" he said with a smile

Although she felt a bit uneasy Melody thought to herself maybe he wasn't so bad thus she agreed

Horst led Melody to the other side of the pool as Vargas had the next set of students dive into the pool

The surface of the water was clear and Melody felt that odd feeling again as if she were being called to the water, that feeling was soon replaced with the feeling of dread as well as being pushed into the pool

Melody felt herself enveloped in the water and there was a strange feeling as if her legs were merging together and her ears were changing too even stranger still she felt as if she could breathe. Panicking she forced herself up coughing before she heard a splash and felt someone wrap their arms around her looking all around she saw her shocked classmates including Jade and Floyd ,the latter's jaw open. When she looked to see who was holding her she was sure it was her upperclassmen Celine Perrine at least it certainly looked like her judging by the golden eyes that peered back at her with concern only now she had eight tentacles not unlike an octopus trailing behind her

"I got you Melody it's gonna be okay" the girl spoke with upset in her voice before lifting the girl onto the deck of the pool allowing Melody to finally see her hands now clawed , webbed and where her legs used to be was a large tail that reminded her of a moray eel

Seeing her reflection Melody screamed

"Whats happened to me!?"

Seeing her distress Celine placed her hand on Melodys wrist

"Melody, Melody its okay it's okay" she said while Jade closed Floyds mouth

"I think i know what's happened" Jade spoke up

"W what?" Melody asked looking at Jade

"You mentioned youve never gone swimming yes?"

"Y yes" she responded

"I believe they were attempting to hide the truth from you, you're a mermaid more specifically a moray eel mermaid " Jade said while a smile grew on Floyds face before said smile changed into a glare thanks to the laughter of Horst and his buddys

"I knew she was a weirdo before looks like she isn't the only one" He laughed before a few other boys laughed making Melody tear up until she heard a splash and saw Horst and his friends in the water

Melody could see the three splashing about and saw Floyd but he looked like the form she had taken

"Noisy small fry are the first ones to go. " he said darkly

"Just you fucking tr-" a blowing whistle cut them off

"Enough Chambers! Royce! James ! Detention. Now! " Vargas shouted before the 3 ran off

"Are you alright Melody?" Celine asked with concern

"Y yeah" Melody said

"Good lets get you dried off and a land potion your tail will take some time to get used to" Celine said grabbing a towel with one of her tentacles before handing it to Melody helping her into the locker room

As the two merwomen left they didnt notice the stares they gained from a certain pair of mermen

"Jade" Azul spoke

"Yes Azul?"

"Keep an eye on those two and Floyd close your mouth."

There was only one thought in the young morays mind

"Angelfish is even more fun than I thought "
