Soooooooo! I'm finally free, I did all my fics for the summer: the @bucktommywhumpweek ones, the @bucktommyzine2025 one and the @bucktommygiftexchange one! And if you don't know what I'm talking about you should definitely check those out.

That means I'm free to fulfill the things you people voted for in my poll, which were: a BuckTommy fluff fic (I mean, if I must... but I'd need a prompt!), your unhinged asks (I opened my asks) and me talking about some random metal band, I guess. I'm very sorry but writing Emralt didn't get a lot of votes, but the 3 people out there who DID vote for it tell me what you'd want me to write ;) I think 2 of you also voted for "follow 10 of you that really want to" but I guess you were jesting. I don't even know 10 people (yes, I do have more than 600 followers now, but nobody wants to talk to me, boohoooooooo).

It's a pretty mundane theory but my thought was that Tommy losing his helmet means he's suffering from a concussion or some other kind of altered mental state. It's either a flashback or confusion that's preventing him from following Buck...

Or that it's a really angsty fic and he's having a really bad time and has chosen this moment to give into passive suicidal tendencies!

You might be somewhat close with one of your ideas, actually. Though there is a reason for him losing his helmet (and that is pretty mundane, not your theory!). Can't tell too much because this is for the gift exchange event and I don't know if the one I'm gifting this fic is lurking around here *peeks into the corners* 😂 What I can promise though that yeah, Tommy is having a bad time, Buck is miserable, everything's really bad because that's the way I like it 😂 Thank you, this ask has been cheering me up tonight!

I'm sorry but... lol. Many so called fans of this show, which are - surprise! - mostly fans of a certain pairing, have not watched the show fully. And I'm not even talking about those who only see what they want to see. Look, I've made fanfic out of thin air. People make fanfics out of gifs of shows they never watch ALL THE TIME. And telling others what is or is not etiquette on Tumblr when they can't even follow THE rule (REBLOG, you fucking fools!)... I don't give a shit and I hope you don't, either. Girl. You're one of my favorite writers in BuckTommy, and if that what I read between the lines here is a little disgruntlement – may I offer you some ice cream and a hug?

Of all the shows I've ever watched and fandoms I've interacted with, only 9-1-1 fans outright blocked me for saying I haven't watched everything when I started writing for it (not even star wars fans were that obnoxious and they have fewer episodes) or when I criticized the writing and editing choices after attempting to watch it

and then been aggressively told my opinions are invalid because they didn't align with what the OP was going for when OP asked a question about a character

and also been blocked for the crime of writing fanfic as comments to the posts that inspired the fic because apparently it's "etiquette" to "ask permission" to create on this here social media which I've been on since the heyday of superwholock and have never encountered that particular "etiquette" until now

and been sent poorly written CSA in an attempt to shock or disgust me into not shipping whoever I shipped like I'm some frail waif who hasn't lived four whole decades and have been through Some Shit

So.

Annoying fandom non pareil.

Thankfully I found some good fandom friends who are decent and lovely and fun and not assholes about being fans.
