The day has come – thanks to an amazing artist and newfound friend, @ruvikdraws, I got a Vgen code! I'm ready to take the writing commission of your dreams, be it fanfiction or original, traditional or interactive! Provided it's SFW, I can write any genre!

Bounty or Booty is releasing tomorrow!

How things are going with Bounty or Booty #2

Hey guys! Doksa here. It's official – we have a launch date! Bounty or Booty is setting sail on June 30th. The full game is going to be available for free on itchio, so stay tuned! I'm here to share our progress on the game, which has been going very smoothly.

Art-wise, we have most of the backgrounds done, with only one missing. Next on the list are CGs (which we are still planning out) and UI edits. The CGs will be the most challenging, since they're full illustrations that require lots of work. However, we're confident we can deliver a good experience to our players and satiate their CG hunger!

Music-wise, pretty much the whole soundtrack is done! I'm very satisfied with the music, and I'm sure our players will be, too. Our composer is very talented and amazing, I'm glad I found her!

And finally, writing, which is my thing. I've recently managed to hit 15k words on our script, and despite my personal life being a mess right now, I'm still going strong. I'm getting close to writing the endings, which is going to be super fun! I'm very excited for the future of this project.

How things are going with Bounty or Booty

Hey guys! Doksa here. I'm the writer and programmer for the Otome Jam 2025 game Bounty or Booty, currently in development by our three-woman team! I'm here to report on some of our progress and share a unique look on the game.

If you're not familiar – and I assume you're not – Bounty or Booty is an otome visual novel where you date pirates in the golden age of piracy! Did you have a crush on Jack Sparrow as a kid? This is your chance to live out your fantasies in this short and silly game that's going to be available FOR FREE on itchio when the time comes (but within the next 3 months) 💕

As of now, we have all the characters sprites done, and the artist is working on backgrounds, CGs, and eventually UI and capsule art. I can pretty confidently say she COOKED. I even have a favorite... but don't tell that to the other love interests haha.

Our composer is also more or less done with two out of an undecided number of tracks for the game's original soundtrack, so we're super excited about that! Splendid work also. We can't wait for you guys to hear her amazing music!

As for writing – which is my job – I am 10k words in, and so far, I'm really enjoying the process! Words kinda come out on their own. My stories usually have a darker, more serious tone, but this silly little pirate story has been living in my head rent free, and I feel like I'm doing a good job with it!

This game is our little passion project, and I really can't wait for us to be able to share the full product with you. The project is doing good and, once again, living rent free in my head. It will for sure be done before the jam ends, but for now, we are unsure of the exact date. Stay tuned to find out, I guess!
