Can They Do A…

…Out of Nowhere!

One of the most memed wrestling moves today. Just as you thought Randy Orton was out, all of a sudden, he gets his arm wrapped around your neck and takes you down for a 3-count!

But now the question is…who else could possibly perform a RKO? That’s for the poll (and all of Tumblr) to decide!

Now, for some base rules:

1) OC and AU characters are allowed. Just specify the source of the OCs/AU characters, as well as information that can help people make their decision. For my part, I’ll make sure to put a disclaimer that the submission is separate from canon.

2) Submit a character through the askbox. (NOTE: My only restriction is that I don’t want to use real life people. Fictional characters only. I will say though that fictionalized versions of real people are okay)

3) Polls will last a week. By the end of it, we’ll know whether or not the character can perform a RKO.

4) Submission must include:

* Character name

* Where they’re from

* If it’s an OC/AU character, include any additional links that will help me and others understand the character

5) Optional: Submission can include the image you want me to use. Otherwise, it’s whatever image I find online.

6) If you want, reblog the poll if you want to share your take on the character and whether they can/can’t do a RKO. I’ll possibly reblog back, especially if it might help people in making their choice.

OPENING POST

hi, welcome to my new poll blog! inspired by blogs like @doyoulikethissong-poll and @haveyouheardthisband, I decided to make a blog dedicated to polls about how well-known and well-liked specific drag performers are on tumblr!

we are not here to judge your drag. drag is art, and art is subjective. I know people get heated about what they love, especially online, but please remember that I am, at the end of the day, just some guy. I am not the ultimate arbiter of drag as an artform, and I have other things to do than run this blog all day.

SOME GUIDELINES:

(these are subject to change as necessary!)

do not submit more than one artist per form!

you are allowed to submit drag kings and uncategorized performers as well as drag queens!

you are not only allowed but encouraged to submit performers who aren't from rupaul's drag race, as well as historical performers and local/indie performers---just keep in mind that my ability to implement your suggestion is based on how much information I can find about them online!

if you're unsure of whether or not a performer/historical figure counts as a drag performer, feel free to send me an ask about it.

that being said, I have a rather liberal definition of drag and probably WILL accept your submission if I think it's funny/interesting enough.

I cannot feasibly research all of these performers. my polls are intended to measure the popularity of these performers, not a statement on whether I endorse any of these people's actions

An unconventional choice for a representative, to be sure, but there’s something in the way he (and, by extension, Silver Ant, ‘cause they’re the same dude) talks that appeals to me. He’s just got a vibe to him.

Also, I don’t blame you in the slightest. There’s a ridiculous amount of ants.
