A summer cold in the nose

or should we say “subber code id da doze”?

There’s something horribly ironic about having a full blown cold-filled nose when it’s 100° outside.

Then, of course, there was my friend with the iron immune system. Winters would come, winters would go with me blowing through 5000 tissue colds arriving like clockwork. For her? Barely a sniffle.

Then there was that hot summer. Heavy temperatures humidity just miserable heat where a shower is required just to feel human. She had been traveling a lot… Working long hard hours in the heat. For the latest job, she would complain about the heavy AC that would blow directly over her head at work. On the phone, I could hear her nose was plugged… Allergies, of course always allergies from our iron immune friend.

But one day it was so hot and she was so perspired that the air-conditioning literately chilled her to the bone. Our call included three wet sneezes… Reality with my friend who would sneeze but once or twice a day at most. Was this a cold brewing?

Denial, denial denial… Just a tickle in my nose, just an allergy… But me- an aficionado of all things nasal had a differing view. Our friend was catching a terrible cold in the nose.

She came home red eyed and tired - “I think I deed a shower “. And once in- 3 more egghhhyooooz - strange as that sounds. Always like that. Egggghhhyooo!!! And a doubled handed blow inside the shower. The honk was overwhelming.

Oh yes - this was a cold! And a good one.

Something just so wonderfully sexy about your special someone leaving for work with a sniffle - and coming home 8 hours later with a huge red nose and raging head cold.

Of course it’s raining outside and they forgot an umbrella. But what happened in 8 hours to take a mild sniffle and explode it into a monster cold in the nose!

Therein rests so much sex appeal for me… the transformation! From my nose is itchy and a little runny - to sore nostrils and endless nose blowing.

But the BEST part??? I get to put them to bed and take care. I have a new tissue box at the ready - nose-friendly of course - a warm bath run and plenty of soup to feed the cold.

I’m ready!!!

Soon, I’m gonna have a space all to my own to sneeze to my heart’s content, and it’ll have much better lighting. Contagion: The Dreaded Vacation Cold

Have you ever found yourself so excited about a vacation that you’ve waited for, saved for and paid for… Only to have a terrible head cold threaten the trip ?

My girlfriend at the time was joining me on our first trip together. A beautiful winter vacation 10 days in Puerto Rico. Because I am known to catch my share of viscous Colds (refer to profile pic) - I was being extra careful to avoid a sniffle.

Needless to say about three days before I found myself in an Uber share - hey why not save a few bucks right? Well in the seats next to me were a mother and her child with a green snotty nose. He coughed he sneezed out two beautiful green lines of thick kid-snot without even a move by the mother…

I covered up, stayed clear and held my breath kept my fingers wrapped soundly around my nose to keep from inhaling any germ… Dude, you’re going away with her. You need to be nose clear for 10 days. That’s all you need to do… Stay nose clear for 10 days. You can come home and catch the bubonic plague so long as it’s after your trip.

What I didn’t factor in was the virulence factor of a snotty kids in a small space. Those micro germs exploding at 1000 miles an hour… And my lousy immune system.

The day of the trip arrived, and I felt it. You know what I’m talking about… You know what I felt a tiny little tickle in the back of my throat. That feeling that something wasn’t quite right. My nose was clear I had so far maintained my nose clear policy as promised. But that damn tickle.

Flight was for 12 noon… I had 4hrs to fight off whatever I was brewing. Drank water took a gummy of Coldeze and gargled with salt water.

On the plane it started… And boy did my throat hurt. But I did not say anything. My girlfriend was happy. I was happy with my girlfriend. She had her lovely lingerie. We were set for a week plus of joy in the sun and in bed. I was not going to catch a nose… Willing myself… I was not going to catch one of my noses.

We landed. It was humid and I felt it was perfect to bake out any germ that may be brewing in my face and throat. What a wonderful first night we made love we ordered room service we made love again… took The most wonderful hot shower together and had some of the best sex ever. We were free and happy just to be together.

The next day… I felt a little bit better and really was happy that I dodged the bullet of the snotty Kid in the car. The beach, back to the room, made love… Back to the beach good food, good music, a couple of fantastic cocktails, and we were in our vacation mode.

My luck had run its course. The next morning… it exploded. The sore throat had taken hold… the headache … the blowing… And yes, oh the sneezing and the sneezing and more sneezing. Even the blows were thicker pressing to clear a badly stuffed nose - snotty to start ending with a long deep trombonist honk. It was here - hitting the nose like a ton of bricks -the head cold from hell was here in absolute record time…

Loading up on tissues in the bathroom—and The noises of a freshly plugged nose. It was my beautiful, wonderful girlfriend suffering from the cold that I had obviously given her. In a stroke of horrid irony - my immune system worked so well that whatever I was shaking off… Shook right off into her beautifully stuffed and now very sore nosy.

Allergies again… nose is closed for business. No air until a huge sneeze irrigated my sinus. Note the monster sneeze- honk combo. Does anyone know a blower who sneezes right into a tissue and honks immediately? It always clears me out. Though it can be dangerous.

Again. Talking thru my nose and my nostrils r on fire. I really want a new nose. Last month it was a monster cold. Today it’s whatever is blowing in the air. Blessings to all who sneeze!

 often when I get into my car… Air conditioning makes me sneeze. This one really set off my allergies I sneezed 25 times but could only catch the last few. You could hear how loaded my nose was… Trying to let it ride without blowing. By the end, my nose it’s swollen three times its size my eyes were tearing, and I sounded like I had a clothes pin on my nose.

Head cold scenario: return of the nosy, limo driver. Our friend should be in bed with THAT nose, but he takes a ride with his head full, loaded w sneezes, snotty, and honking blows. His passenger, unaware that she’d be sick in bed with her own cold within the next week. Plenty of stifles and heavy nasal talk if you like a man with a plugged up nose- this is a clip for you.

Part 2- Odyssey of a Fresh Cold in the Nose

Coffee tasted like cardboard- didn’t feel much like eating with this sore throat. Make up? What a joke- remembering the last cold and just blowin and blowin whatever coverage she had on her large nostrils.

Futility comes to mind - yes be happy that box of soft Kleenex cold care tissues arrived, and it won’t be a day of hard paper towel in the office rest room. Our friend thinks that maybe this is the date to stay home get back into bed with Netflix, her tissues and a cup of tea… But the Pinsky file is due and the marketing team is presenting. She has to make it… At least 1 PM, maybe this is one of those colds where she’ll feel better once she gets out and about… That always happens right ?

The ride to work is ridiculous. Reaching for that oversized tissue box—way too big for her purse—is borderline hazardous. Achummmmphhh. “Bless me,” she mutters, already regretting the need to practice her stifle sneeze. The pressure’s building—deep in the left nostril—and the dull headache creeping in isn’t helping. It’s only a 29-minute commute, but this is sneeze number five. Damn. This is shaping up to be a nasty nose cold. She wonders—-.

And work? It’s going to suck if it’s all out there for people to see—red nose, watery eyes, the whole parade. She sighs, wondering (not for the first time) who gave her this nose. Then—Achmmmmmmph!—one last blow before pulling up. A long, snotty, noisy mess that barely brings relief. Not satisfying. Just…nasal maintenance.

The good, juicy blows won’t come till day three or four….but by then, her poor nostrils will be clown-car red and sore to the touch.

She Parks and off to start the day. Kleenex cold care in tow and a deep sniffle already presenting.

JEANNIE is pushed forward after door closes and offers a lovely pre-sneeze face and build up “Aaaaahchoooo!!! Oh by gooddiss (snifff)…I hope I ab dot cubbing dowd w subthig???”

This was the first time I noticed something —ummmm happening with this sneeze thing. I would get so turned on when this episode would come on. I started waiting for it to come on in reruns. Before YouTube - we just waited. The discomfort I felt… When the episode was coming, was my lack of understanding. As a young person I just didn’t get why I was feeling this about a sneezy cold or why it had such a profound effect on me physically. I literally felt a certain part of my pants tighten every time she’d sneeze. Why??? It’s happening now. Hahahah!

Of course I’ve seen hundreds of shows with colds and sneezing since— all the videos that we get to see every day… The content that is so prolific on sneezing blowing and colds/allergies. But in a kinder, simpler time… This was how we did it and before communities like ours… It was hard to articulate exactly what was happening in our pants every time a sneezer walked by or someone we knew had the big sore nose loaded with cold. Ahhh the Telltale sign of what was happening in there.

I love the reference to a cold in the nose… That’s exactly how I envision a beautiful woman with a cold that takes over her life for 3-4 days.

Something about how it centers itself in an area that’s usually unencumbered. We take a nose for granted… Not us :) but generally. We expect a nose to be clear and open for business. Clear to breathe thru, clear so we can taste food and smell the world around us. When a cold takes hold, this simple biological necessity is thrown off kilter.

On day one - our friend feels a slight nose tickle … a little scratchy throat; a sign of things to come. One sneeze is normal.. but 30 mins later? Yep something is brewing. Her first reaction is “oh no…I hope I’m not coming down with something” (yes Barbara Eden’s famous line when she catches cold on IDO Jeannie). Still makes me shudder at the sexiness of that line and her nose loaded in that episode sighhhhh.

The sneezes start. She take some vitamin C and Coldeze to fight it off… “I really dod’t deed a doze this week”… said nasally - as if she has any way to fight it off at this point. Any say in the matter. “Where are by tissues?… oh doh- I dodt have adythg but TP”. She goes to bed hoping for a good night sleep and some rest to clear it.

The sneezing starts at 3am- the toilet roll is at the ready. Her nose is closing - her throat hurts …her head aches and when she put her head down- her fresh cold closes the left side of the nose. The blowing starts because really there’s no other way to get any sleep. A closed nose means an open mouth and a bad sore throat the next day.

Our friend wakes at 6 AM for work… spent TP all over the end table from a night of blowing - yes, it’s now a full-blown cold in the nose… and the Odyssey is underway.

Talkie from My Christmas cold from 2023. Actually had Covid but my nose didn’t care. Felt like an old school cold in the schnozole. Can’t believe how up in the nose I sounded. That’s what my GF used to say when I had a frequent cold. Not you sound stuffed up—- she’d say I sound all “up I’d da doze”. This was a particularly snotty day with a big blow and show half way thru. Went out with this nose and got a whole lot worse. Mom and dad were right - stay in bed with a cold and you’ll get better.

First post and so happy to find a place that intersects video, audio and the written word so prolifically. I’m a cold lover - a nose blow first fetishist but have slowly grown to love sneezing…initially because it was the precursor to the big snotty honking blow- now because … well it’s ultimately - all about the nose isn’t it?

I have long been active on YT because personally I catch entirely too many head colds not to share. I am by design- a contributor and a giver. Loving to share respectfully and privately. To me it’s all about the fun and the fetish. When it becomes uncomfortable it becomes unacceptable.

While my own heavy colds don’t turn me on- the fact that my big sore nose loaded with a snotty cold or allergy might make someone smile … well THAT does work for me.

Anyhoo- happy to be here and hopeful to contribute. Achooooo. I actually did in fact just sneeze. A good sign!
