I have another question for the SYJNTERIMYT universe.

So I'm planning for Smalletho to be exes (the reason will be unconvered in due time), and how Jimmy and Tango met. But my question is should I release the 'after the fact' fic or give the backstory first?

Grian: Curses or Tongues and Teeth

1, Curses; I have stated most everything I have wanted to say about this particular song, already.

2, Tongues And Teeth; (Cherrifire's animatic), it's literally angsty Scarian, there is no other song like it, it's so Double Life them, Scar doesn't know what's wrong, Grian does, so he becomes rigid and stiff towards Scar. Grian knows what he did to Scar and avoids him, causing Scar to turn to the Jellie pandas for comfort.

Scott: Queen Of Nothing or Arcturus Beaming

1, Queen of Nothing: He cannot keep up with what the Watchers do (similar to Martyn), the will of the Watchers is keeping him down. And as the song goes on it feels like Scott is accepting that he'll never get anywhere, so he should no longer try. The Watchers will always be after him (Watchers' least favorite).

2, Arcturus Beaming: Like most of the other life members, he is very angsty, which fits well with Arcturus Beaming, in one lyric it says, "My sanctuary, to worship the pain", he really needs that after what the Watchers put him through (Watchers' least favorite).

Pearl: Hollow Moon or The Moon Will Sing

1, Hollow Moon; Pearl is the moon but her heart is hollow, with scars, (from Double Life mostly). She has issues and demons that are scary to face, she avoids them.

2, The Moon Will Sing; Shinyduo is on their divorce arc and this is 100% that. Pearl loses herself to Gem, in their 'relationship', Gem shines like the sun and Pearl wants to drink in the light. (It doesn't end up working in the end.)

Martyn: Mad Dog or Down The River

1, Mad Dog: in addition to what I have said in the previous post, no matter what he does he just keeps on, "run-running, running, running", because no matter what he does, he, a listener, will always try to get away from the Watchers, but in the end it will always be fruitless. And he will never get to rest because he could get pulled into a Game at any point.

2, Down The River: Martyn has frustration about everything the Watchers do, and he tries to do something about it (i.e. listener), but he crumbled in the end and ends up playing their game and claiming victory by backstabbing the other two.

Scar: Allies Or Enemies or Glacier House

1, Allies Or Enemies, Scar does not know who he can trust. But it also fits with Grian and Scar's relationship, they love each other but always end up hurting each other in the end (Scar's Boogey kills and Grian in the Cactus Ring).

2, Glacier House; in my headcanons it is that only Winners remember their Game, so for the longest time Grian was the only one that remembered the Desert, but the second that Scar remembered he was still open to the concept of a relationship, while Grian was more against it, eventually they came together like they always do in the end.

Cleo: Nobody

1, she is not often recognized in their Winner status, which is where the "Nobody" comes in when standing around other 'real' winners.

2, Them and Lizzie when Fairy Fort was getting burned to the ground, the divorce arc is so Nobody.

Joel: Predator or The Hand That Feeds

1, Predator; Like I said previously, Joel is a 'predator' in the Life Series, one of the most deadly people. But also he is the Watchers' pawn, they influence him to kill Scott because Scott is their least favorite. "What would happen if I said, no to you?" Joel is contemplating the pros and cons of just saying no for once. He does that in Wild Life by not going after Scott.

2, The Hand That Feeds; after years of paying into the Watchers' will, he breaks free from the chains, (after Predator), finally deciding (after they make his wife fall eternally) to fight back, not just for himself, but for his family.

Cuz I was thinking about all the ships I wanna add and I happened to be reading an Ethubs fic (it wasn't the main ship) and I thought to myself; How would this go over?

I was thinking about some little head canons last night and I was listening to The Crane Wives, suddenly I felt the urge to pick out songs for each Winner. I decided to share my song takes among the people of Tumblr.

Grian - Curses - The 'anthem' for the Life Series, it might be basic but I like to think it is the song that when you hear it you immediately go 'Life Series'? Also it goes along with how he has the OG curse, the "Widow's curse", where Grian is doomed to outlive all of his teammates, and he is the original Winner.

Scott - Queen Of Nothing or Acrturus Beaming - Queen of Nothing because Scott is a ✨💅Queen💅✨ also he is a king without a kingdom. Arcturus Beaming for the whole Star thing going on. Also another thing for Queen of Nothing is that in the Life Series, Scott is in the spotlight a lot of the time which is kind of fitting.

Pearl - Hollow Moon - 1, she is Pearlescentmoon, and people say with the whole Scarlet Pearl thing, is that she became hollow inside. With no friends and the only company being her wolves.

Martyn - Mad Dog - the whole song is a bit erratic with both the music and words which fits how Martyn went a little bit crazy at the end of Limited Life. With also the way he won, he didn't fight with his fists, he stabbed both of them in the back.

Scar - Allies or Enemies - the way he says, "how did the guy with no friends win?" Also a lot of people use that song for Desert Duo and it just fits with how Scar doesn't know who to trust.

Cleo - Nobody - some people don't recognize her as a Winner while others (like myself) do, they deserve to be on this list with the song that represents how some people think she does not belong in the Winner's circle. Also the whole their and Lizzie 'divorce arc', cough, fairy fort, cough.

Joel - Predator - I know the song is about patterns of self-harm but we can all agree that Joel is one of the most dangerous people in the Life Series, he really deserved that win. Also some people " you opened the door for an Apex predator" also Joel did open the door for an Apex predator (Grian, in Wild Life tried to kill him but he killed him first).

Honorable mentions;

The Glacier house is so Desert Duo/Scarian coded, like a departed relationship (either platonic or not) meeting once more, 3rd Life and Double Life.

People can tweak this and input their opinions but just know, this is my opinion that I wrote at like 12 o'clock at night.

Desert duo doesn't need explanation but how has NO ONE mentioned how grumbo started Sahara, aka the Arabic word for desert aka the largest desert in the world (I think)

Scarian might be trapped in that damn desert but grumbo threw the potato that got them stuck there

I was troubleshooting how to hyperlink on Ao3, the thing I was testing was in the Author's Note and I needed to fill up the body of the work and I wrote something off the top of my head and was like, 'wait, why is this kinda good?' So I decided to share a lil something something I wrote about the winners and their celestial bodies (in order of 3rd life to wild life).

My Life Series 'College' AU Background Info (Sometimes You Just need To escape Reality, I'll Meet You There)

I made this up in my head a bit ago, it is a Life Series 'AU', I have already written two fanfics for it. The series starts out after the fact, after the gang has gotten together, while they go on a camping trip together.

I want to make one thing clear before anybody starts attacking me; this is the Characters and the characters only. Nothing Content Creator thing is happening here.

Let's jump in! Here's the link to the series of Ao3, non users can also access it, (it's the source btw).

There are multiple ships (NOT cc's, I will repeat) contained within it and I am working on the third of the series, but as I am in school there will be no update schedule as the semester is ending soon and my teachers are bring down the hammer on my plans. Once the break for summer rolls around, (in like 5 months) you should expect a lot of fics coming from me.

I'll probably keep adding onto this with maybe a master tag? If people actually find this, that is.

The ships are in the tags, so if you fw (I'm trying not to actually swear) them, you are free to interact as you like (don't be creepy), asking questions as you please, (I should make a master post once I figure out links).

(I have a lot of thoughts about them and Headcanons, I'll be screaming into the void of the internet until someone takes note of my existence)

MINOR (I am a minor, don't be weird)

I like to draw (I'm not very good at it), paint, sculpt, etc.

One of my main passions though, is writing! I've been writing for a few years and I've made improvements. I do original works sometimes but most of the time I write fanfiction. I use already existing universes as a way to lean on the Canon so I can practice writing (further developing characters, working on a plot with already existing characters, etc.)
