This is a friendly reminder that first person POV is not supposed to be written like a self-insert fic, nor is it supposed to be read that way. Both of these set up an unrelatable main character, and it takes the reader out of the story. It also ruins first person POV for everyone, and it makes it hard for people who primarily write in that POV to get noticed.

First person POV is meant for a fully developed character to tell their side of a given story, and the reader is not supposed to feel like they're the main character. You can absolutely relate to a main character and feel like you're going on a journey with them, but you are not supposed to feel like you are the main character.

Anyway, I can't be the only one who thought about Bob meeting Kate Bishop's dog, Lucky, right? I can't be the only one that thinks they'd absolutely love each other?

Bob is probably going to be tailing Yelena for the foreseeable future (at her request), and it's been shown that Yelena likes to randomly drop in on Kate, so it's a very high possibility it could happen in canon.

My most iconic moment in my 4th ever session of dnd

Got a nat 20 perception to patrol during the night, and it was the only thing that was keeping us from being ambushed by some men in hooded robes. Rolled a nat 1 stealth to get closer to hear them, and I stepped on a snake. DM was cool and let me use Speak With Animals to apologize to the snake to keep it from biting me. I ended up getting all of the information on them that I needed from the snake instead. It ended up barely being a nat 1 by the end of it.

I hit my first ever nat 20 and nat 1 consecutively within 5 minutes of each other. The chances of this happening again are astronomically low.

Whitechapel is a new gothic-horror musical that is currently looking for composers and lyricists. For right now, the positions are unpaid, but we hope to change that once we have proper funding. With the Wicked movie making it canon that Fiyero (at least Jonathan Bailey's Fiyero) ate grass as a child despite it not existing in the stage version, I want to do something.

I want to make a tier list ranking different actors' Fiyeros based on if they ate grass as a child, and it would be ranked as

Ate grass regularly

Tried it once out of curiosity (may stay if it's used enough)

Has never eaten grass

If you have particularly strong feelings about any Fiyeros in regards to this, please drop your ranking in the comments. I will try to look some of them up to form my own opinion on them, but I may go with public opinion if enough people are agreed on a specific actor.

And I know it's a bit silly, but I thought it might be something fun, and it would introduce me to the different actors because I've only seen one stage actor's performance all the way through.

PCRF Fundraiser Event: Minecraft Manhunt (with a twist)

Calling all Minecraft streamers!!!

I'm going to be doing a fundraising event for PCRF where Minecraft streamers will be playing Minecraft manhunt, but with a special twist.

No set date yet (will be announced soon hopefully) but will likely be within the next two weeks from today (June 4).

For those of you who may not know what Minecraft manhunt is: Minecraft manhunt is a game where there is usually one runner and multiple hunters. The runner's goal is to complete the game while the hunters try to stop them by any means necessary. If we get enough participants for this event, we can have multiple runners to make the game's goal easier.

Twists:

With every milestone reached during the fundraiser, players will spin a wheel to have a randomized Minecraft event happen to them (spawn zombies on player, give player an ender pearl, tp player to random location, etc).

We will play at least 1-2 rounds regularly, but then we will play a special version of the manhunt:

Any hunters that are killed by *runners* will become runners themselves, and any runners killed by *hunters* will become hunters themselves. No limit on how many times you can be a runner or hunter. If all runners are gone, the game goes to the hunters. If all hunters are gone, everyone works together to complete the game.

Players must be streamers, but non-streamers can apply as admins!

Y'all think Pedro Pascal would give us the autistic Reed Richards we deserve?

Having a canonically autistic Reed Richards in the MCU would mean the world to me.

(For those of you who don't know the 616 Mr. Fantastic was made autistic in canon and the MCU is supposed to take place in the 616 universe).

Considering it's Marvel, I highly doubt it would happen, but it would honestly be a big stepping stone for autistic character rep if they could do it properly.
